So happy to have found this place! No frills Taiwanese food place, you order at the counter and receive your food. A cute couple owns the place and it looks like it was just them working, so be patient while they prepare your food. The Taiwanese pork chop over rice was delicious and 10.75$ was a great pricing for the amount of food you get. The noodle soup had tender beef that melted in your mouth. They have sauces on the side if you want to add anything, like sirracha and chili oil. Will definitely be back for a comforting Taiwanese meal! read more

I love this place, it is my favorite restaurant in Texas, and their beef noodles might be the best in the entire country. Their dumplings are also amazing and you can buy them frozen too. Can't say enough, if you want a great meal and want to support a local family business, try King's!!! read more

King's Noodles is one of my go-to spots whenever I'm craving noodles. I always order the noodles with fried pork, and it never disappoints. The portions are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but it has a cozy, laid-back vibe that makes it comfortable to dine in. Service has always been quick and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I'd keep coming back to! read more

I finally made it here! My husband and I tried to eat here a while back but we arrived too late and it was so close to closing time that we ended up eating elsewhere, and since then King's Noodle has been on my radar but we had not committed to the drive from our place in Carrollton until today. After carefully studying the menu, I went with the Three Delight Dry Beef Noodle and M went with Pork Chop Noodle. We had no idea what to expect for the noodle portion of the Pork Chop Noodle but we were really excited to try the pork chop so we went with it. Other reviewers are correct that it takes a while to get the food. We patiently waited for our number as the number increased slowly. Finally, our number was called. To our pleasant surprise, the Pork Chop Noodle came with a noodle soup in addition to the fried pork chop. The noodle soup was ok. The broth was pretty simple and a tad bland (easy to doctor up), but a nice companion to the pork chop. The pork chop was my single favorite item of the meal. Really great flavor and so crispy! Lastly, my dry noodle. The beef was so tender and the tendons so melt-in-your-mouth silky. The tripe? (I think that's what the meat was on the bottom of the photo) was just ok and normally I love tripe. The overall flavor was pretty good, although I thought it was made superior by adding some chili oil and soy sauce. It was also a LOT of noodles. Omg let's talk about the noodles. The noodles that were in my dry beef noodle were so good. Think and chewy in the best way. Keep in mind that the noodle soup that came in the pork chop noodle was a different, thinner kind. I have to come back and try the beef stew noodle soup because I think that comes with this same thicker noodle. Ambiance was ok and sometimes it was tricky to navigate around all the tables, but unlike what another reviewer said, the chili oil was available in a little condiment station. I did have to ask specifically for the pickles, however. Overall, a positive experience and I can't wait to go back! read more

Food is mediocre but service is bad. Owners are cheap as hell- asked for a takeout container for my leftover food, and the owner said they don't give out take out containers for certain orders??!! Food was good, but the service was extremely poor. I asked for iced tea and was told they had it. After waiting, I was handed a milky drink and told I had ordered "milk iced tea," which I absolutely did not. When I pointed out the mistake, the employee argued with me and refused to exchange or refund it. This is basic customer service -- acknowledge the mistake and fix it. Instead, I was told to take the drink I didn't order. The food itself was good, but the service was bad enough that I won't be returning. This is our go to place for rich hearty beef noodle soup! They sell them frozen now and i can enjoy it in the comfort of my own and adding more veggies. Their mung bean ice slushie is also the perfect refreshing summer time dessert that's not too sweet! You order at the counter and are given a number which they will call out when the food is ready. A small family-owned business located in a little plaza in Richardson. There is street parking in the front of the restaurant, as well as a shared parking lot in the back. There are several tables inside the restaurant. Mostly small tables, but you can easily push them together if you have a larger group and want to be seated closer together. Once you get inside, you go to the front to place your order and pay, before taking a seat. When your order is ready, they will call for your order number. For our order, they called the number and also brought out the second dish we ordered a little later. We ordered the Beef Noodle Soup, Tofu and Seaweed Noodle, and Chicken Thigh Rice Plate (not sure what it was called, but it was served on a simmering hot plate). I enjoyed the warm broth from the Beef Noodle Soup. The noodles were soft and chewy. The beef was tender, didn't require a lot of chewing to break it apart. The Tofu and Seaweed Noodle was a cold side dish that complimented the hot entrees we had. It isn't really a noodle dish, it's just tofu and seaweed sliced up to look like noodles. The Chicken Thigh dish was good. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. read more

I haven't been back here in years mainly due to the fact they used to only accept cash and I don't usually carry any. Decided to stop by recently because I was craving a bowl of noodle soup and was pleasantly surprised to find they accept card payments now! You order and pay at the counter, pick a table and then pick up your order when it's ready. There were only 3 other tables there on a Monday night. We just went with their signature beef noodle with soup and a dry version of the beef noodles. Our order came out fresh and quick. The flavors were good, they give you a ton of noodles and also a good portion of meat. We left satisfied and very full! read more

Craved something Asian-y, noodle-y and soupy... Yelp found us this tiny local gem run by some lovely people. I had the shrimp and pork wonton noodle soup & steamed lettuce. Other family members had the beef noodle soup. Everything was made to order and delicious. We polished off everything, not a speck of food was left. Halfway through the meal, they brought out two more wontons for me. I didn't realize I was short anything (my bowl was huge!) and appreciated the gesture. Lovely first experience. read more

I found this place randomly on Google search while trying to find a halfway meeting point for some friends and I was craving some Taiwanese beef noodles. We were so pleasantly surprised with the food - so delicious and authentic! This place is definitely a mom and Pop shop with kids helping out to run the store so don't expect stellar service. You order at the counter and they give you a number, and pick it up when they call you. We did have a large party and they did not let us rearrange any tables which I thought was a little bit strange, but we were ultimately able to crowd about 10 of us around their one round table at the restaurant. I would not recommend this place for large groups. The beef noodle soup was very flavorful, and the noodles were the perfect amount of chew. The beef was tender, and portions were generous l. The fried pork chop was flavorful and crispy, without being dry. Our friends who got drinks really enjoyed the milk tea and wintermelon tea I would definitely recommend this place if you're craving some authentic Taiwanese food or would like to try something new and don't mind the hole in the wall vibes. read more

I'm so glad this small business is still running. Over two years since back. They have now expanded their menu, credit cards are accepted, and, the prices have nearly doubled. All understandable. Honestly my family has been going here since I was a kid but recently they have definitely upped their game. Plating has gotten better and the place has gotten more organised. Here it's a pay at the front and wait for your food sort of deal so you don't get too much interaction with the workers. However this is a family owned place and the owners are super sweet. They remember us as regulars and always say hi. Food has always been top notch! One of my all time favorite taiwanese spots in the area. You can't really go wrong with anything on their menu but my go to is the fried beef noddles. We always get one or two of these Togo and meal prep for work lunches . I will recommend this to anyone and I wish it was closer to my house. read more

I had the beef dry noodles and a side of pig ears. The beef noodles are unlike most other places where it's served with broth. Was a long time customer ever since this place first opened and used to come here regularly with my family, but I can't recommend this restaurant anymore. I visited today on a Saturday at lunch time and the restaurant was full. The staff was clearly overwhelmed to the point where they abruptly rejected orders for 2/3 of their menu, including rice dishes and lo mein; they only accepted orders for noodle soup. The person taking orders was also very rude. This is a family run restaurant, but clearly, they need to hire some staff to help out in the kitchen as it took 35 minutes before we received our food even with the vastly reduced menu. To me, this was the last straw as the food quality had already deteriorated after one of the original cooks left. The ingredients in the food had also been cost reduced (e.g. replacing bok choy with cabbage). I will not be returning to this restaurant again. read more

No wait staff, only busters, I got the #6 and it's pretty bland for my taste. I much prefer the Vietnamese egg noodle soup over this dish. Price was ridiculous $14 after tax for this bowl. I didn't even finish. Service was slow. Also they do not take AMEX, only visa or Mastercard.... read more

No frills, AMAZING beef noodle soup in the DFW area. It's not fancy at all, but if you want the best beef noodle soup in Dallas, it's worth the trek. My family is a noodles family. It is all our favorite foods, and I swear that my parents could open a restaurant with their homemade beef noodles soup with handmade noodles. As such, we've all become incredibly picky. King's Noodle is one of the ONLY places in the DFW that actually has true beef broth that is made from hours of boiling on the stovetop. Most restaurants will use pastes and additives to enhance or get the beef flavor. King's Noodle is ~au naturale~. The quality of the beef inside the beef noodle soup is also good and super tender. The noodles are thick and chewy. The ONLY gripe I have is the fact that they replaced the bok choy with cabbage. It really takes away from the dish and makes it feel cheapened down, but I understand they're running a business and are trying to make it through COVID times. Please bring back the bok choy and turnips one day! read more

I can't say I've never been. Tried it but wasn't impressed by it. I expected more...I ordered their Three Delight Dry Noodle Beef and their Handmade Dumplings. The servings are huge and should be enough for two. The service is very average, typical Asian place. They take your order at the counter, you pay, and they immediately work on your order with no other conversation but that really doesn't bother me. I'm there to try their food and not make friends. My order took a a little while than expected since they are making dumplings to order, steam it and make sure filling is not raw (I actually appreciate this). Would I comeback? Probably not since a bit of a drive for me but would go if I'm invited or a group of friends would like to try it. read more

BEEF. NOODLE. SOUP. The best beef noodle soup I've ever had. It warms my soul on a cold winter day. The broth itself is so rich and full of flavor that I actually drink it all. The noodles are thick and have a bite to it that I really enjoy. NOW THE BEEF. The thick slices of beef are so tender!! This is the type of meat that falls off the bone. Best beef noddle soup in town!! The Taiwan appetizer dishes were also very good. They now take credit cards too.

A few months ago my roommates and I ordered beef noodle soup from King's Noodle -- it was my first time trying it, so I consulted Yelp to see what items were popular on the menu and ended up picking the beef dry noodle. I really enjoyed the thicker chewy noodles as well as the garlicky flavor of the sauce. The tendon here is tender and chewy as well. My roommates enjoyed their beef noodle soup. Be aware that the pickled mustard greens that come on the side do have a bit of a kick, so if you aren't into spicy I'd skip those. Would love to come by and try some of the other items on the menu in the future, and also get the dine in experience after the pandemic is over! read more

Came in on a sunday afternoon for lunch with friends and ordered the beef noodle soup with shrimp wontons. I am used to picking the level of spice and the beef noodle soup being a bit more salty but this place was a bit different. The soup itself wasn't too flavorful and no spice at all. Instead they have soysauce and chili oil on the side for you to add it yourself. The meat was soft and shrimp wontons were about average to good. It was really an average dish overall. Not my favorite but I would eat it again if I was near and circumstance led me here. I really gave this a 4 star instead of 3 because of how hard the workers especially this young girl (seems like a daughter) where working. They were very quick and concise with the orders and nothing was lacking. Majority of the stuff is self serve here and pretty simple. Tables were wiped down and food was delivered in appropriate manner. Just because it was busy and there weren't much workers didn't stop the workers to slow down or work less hard. It was great to see how hard everyone was working and tending to the customer and business! You can really tell that the workers care about the resturant and the people! read more

The one item here that made me like this place is the shrimp wonton noodle soup! I've tried the beef noodle soup and the vegetarian noodles, and they're alright. Not something I would want to go back and eat. Beef noodle is nothing special cause it's just few pieces of beef and then a plain broth. The vegetarian noodles was not bad but got boring after a few bites. They used some sort of beans and cubed mushrooms to make the sauce. But the game changer- #6 fresh shrimp wonton noodle soup is so delicious. You get four huge wontons and they taste like it has beef inside too. The wontons flavors is right on point. The shrimp was juicy. The soup was flavorful. They have shaved ice and dessert now so that would be something to try. I love how the restaurant is pay at the front and it's self-service so no tip. The restaurant also smells so good with their soup base aroma. There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant but since there are more businesses that opened up nearby, it's been packed. But people come and go so you'll find a parking spot. read more

It's basically a mom and pop noodle restaurant. The place is neat and clean, better than many other Chinese restaurants. I also checked out the restroom (the men's side of course). The level of cleanness is way above average. While I was there, most patrons were Asians, which means the noodles are really good. I ordered a beef noodle soup with my favorite tendon and stripe (S2). I thought I was ordering a soup noodle. But when it was delivered on the table, I noticed there wasn't much liquid in the bowl. I asked the waitress walking by, and she told me it was dry noodles. Luckily, it came with a small bowl of dark beef broth. I poured it all in the noodles to make my own noodle soup. Proud of my own creativity, and it tasted just as good or better than any noodle soup I had. Onto the food now. The noodles were really good, moist, and chewy. They are as thick as udon noodles. These are freshly made noodles, not dry noodles. That makes a huge difference. Fresh noodles readily take in the flavor of the broth and everything else, and they taste so much better. The beef was equally good - savory, chunky, but tender. One thing I would like it to be better is the tendon. I love tendons of all kinds. But I like them chunky. But what I got was just tiny, skinny slices. But I have to say they tasted great. The same applies to the thin stripes. The broth (or sauce), although not much, was one of the best I ever had. This place also has other noodle soups, as well as drinks of different kinds, including pearl and grass jelly milk tea. I'll come by again to try other things. read more

King's noodle is definitely one of my go-to restaurants when I'm craving some authentic Taiwanese noodles. This is a family-owned restaurant. And I love it. I always order the beef dry noodle (menu item #1) because it has more of a garlic flavor than the traditional beef noodle soup (#2). And you get a side of the soup with your order of dry noodles, plus a sauce plate of 酸菜/榨菜 (pickled chinese cabbage/pickled mustard). It comes with a piece of radish, cilantro, tender beef and of course the delicious noodles. The food is made fresh, they only start to cook the noodles once they put the order in, which is why it takes a bit of a wait. But it's so worth it. The taste is clean and flavorful. This restaurant is also very much self-service. You get your own water, utensils, napkins. This resembles the asian restaurant mentality - do it yourself. So don't listen to the negative reviews!! What an excellent find this was for a group hungry guys with large appetites!!! On our way from playing paintball, we were all hungry but had to stop at Micro Center to pick up a few things. We still have a bit of drive home but starving and had to get something satisfying to eat. A quick search for some noodle soup dishes was high on the choices and this place was 5 mins. away with promising reviews and we went for it! The scent of beef broth was in the air as soon as you walk in! Brought back a very familiar aroma of five spices that reminds my visit in Taiwan and more recently from places I've dined in California! I never paused to take any pics of my food because I straight dug into it!!! Beef noodle soup and the homemade steamed dumplings was a perfect combination! The beef broth was perfect and flavorful! Not salty or oily but just clean and gives you that distinct taste of what a Taiwanese beef broth needle soup should be! The noodles were nice and firm with a good bounce, not soggy or overcooked. The beef chunks were tender but not falling apart. The steamed dumplings were nice and plump and steaming when served with a sweet and slightly tangy sauce! It was so good I had split another of it with one of the guys! We all had an order of it each already!!! Lol read more
