The Pho was HUGE; however, I felt it was a little lacking in flavor. Lots of broth, noodles and dry chicken, but not a lot of veggies or other add-ins. I also had the shrimp egg rolls which were good. Overall, not bad but I have to vote for Pho Real down the street over this place- more veggies and better flavor, and slightly cheaper. Popular bubble teas have ample portions and the mango smoothie tastes like fresh fruit instead of that chemical-flavor mango drinks have at some other places. We really enjoy Pho as a family. The owner of this business or I assume someone who has investment is really on it. She seems like a type A personality who is running a tight ship! Wanted to try out a new pho place in the area so we landed at Pho plus. Very calm on a Sunday night, the establishment was clean and put together nicely. There was very much family owned and homey vibes as well. I love a classic pho tai (rare steak), and theirs did not disappoint! The portion was on the larger side, a big plate of toppings were included as well as standard sriracha and hoisin sauces located on every table. The broth was perfect IMO and I cannot complain about the pho. We also tried their noodles with beef and that was not their strong suits the meat was slightly inedible and was giving frozen vibes. Pho is definitely delicious here. It's not overwhelmed with spices and broth is light. It was a little creamy which I love and reminds me of Egg Roll #1 pho. Atmosphere is like a normal Asian eat in restaurant. Staff was prompt and responsive. We didn't just have one server, it was a whoever is available will come and get what we needed. We were so excited to see a new pho place open in Carmel. We went during their soft opening and had a great experience. We tried the pho gua and bun ga nuong and both really liked our meals. Both are very large servings, especially the pho, that you could make 2 meals out of. The fried spring rolls were great and we look forward to returning to try more of the menu. The service was quick and friendly and the restaurant was clean. It seemed like there were a few small kinks to be worked out from a server perspective but I have faith that with a little more time, they will have all kinks worked out! We were able to get a seat and the service was busy but polite. We decided to order our standard Vietnamese dishes that are pretty standard across all Vietnamese restaurants--the pho and the vermicelli noodle salad. The serving sizes are actually very large. The delicious salad was served with a lemongrass beef and lots of vegetables. The pho itself was really good too-- I didn't really need to add any sauces to it either! It says they came with pork, vermicelli noodles, and lettuce - it came with a tiny piece of pork, no noodles, and an excessive amount of lettuce. It had no flavor because it was basically all lettuce. I would not recommend those spring rolls (which are usually my favorite thing to eat at Vietnamese restaurants). Our normal Pho place is closed on Sunday and wanted to give this new place a try - Probably should've waited until Monday to go to my normal place. Lady that was working was overwhelmed and took our order from behind the desk/counter and didn't even come to the table. She said she was missing help and seemed very overwhelmed. We tried to help her out as much as possible. Food was okay. Nothing to write home about. Their boba's were overcooked and we had to ask for water refills about 4 times. They automatically charge a "service fee" on the bill. NO where on their menu or in the restaurant states they charge a service fee. So, they assessed us a $29 fee on top of wanting us to leave a tip. I asked about the fee and the lady working said she didn't know and had to ask her boss. So, for 5 Pho, 3 egg rolls, a small bowl of rice and 5 boba's, our total was $200! Very disappointed in not only the food but the service fee. It was sweet and spicy at the same time! We had their dumplings steamed and those with the sauce, SO GOOD!!! When we went in the place wasnt packed at all so we got our food immediately. We also got bobba tea when we went in because we didnt even know they had that. The bobba was amazing as well, he got chai and i got lychee, both tasted amazing. We ordered the Pho Special (of course) and Vermicelli with grilled shrimp and pork. Both were authentic and delicious. Although I wished the soup was a bit hotter, I can't complain about the flavor. The portions were ample. I almost couldn't finish my vermicelli because the wife has a small appetite. That meant I had to eat one and a half plates. I went with the Pho Tom and was not disappointed. If you enjoy pho like I do, you know how the quality of the rice noodles themselves can change your experience.
