Great new owners! This used to be Pho 88. The new owners redecorated, changed the menu and provide much better service and food than the previous owners. The pho broth is great! Small plates are terrific and we are working our way through the new menu. If you were disappointed with the previous owner, you need to get back there and give these folks your business. I wish I could give this place one star. My DoorDash told me that she asked the man to fix the way. The food was placed inside the bag. He had an attitude I go to eat my food and it's blood all over the noodles. There is full juices dropping out of the containers. The bag was nasty and filthy never ever order takeout. New ownership and first time dining with them. I will say the last owners food was better. Decided on the combo Pho which was good basic Pho. The broth was tasty but they didn't give enough bean sprouts or basil. It was served on a small saucer! Never seen this before! Every Vietnamese restaurant always gives a plate of items to add to your soup. This was strange. On to the spring rolls appetizer which came out after our main dish. They were dry and the grill pork was like beef jerky. Not good at all. No carrots inside either. The rice noodle bowl had the same dry jerky style pork and shrimp that were overcooked and dry. Lastly the star of the show was the Bahn Mi sandwich which was flavorful and juicy. The best thing I tasted there! Our waitress was a young teen girl who apparently had never been trained as a waitress she was sweet but lack the skill set of a proper waitress. Please train your people. Niceness is not all it takes. They have to know their job. Inside the restaurant the decor had not changed from the previous owners. It was clean and smelled fresh. The condiments on the table looked fresh and well kept. The one strange thing I noticed was a piece of paper origami trash bin on the table with trash hand written on it. What is this?!?! They do sell small plastic table top trash cans. Please fix this. Overall not a bad experience. I will give them another try in the future and do another review. If you can't beat the heat, join it! 92 degrees out and I was craving a bowl of pho. I got the rare beef pho and it was as delicious as it was filling. Very kind and attentive service, I was the only one here, so it was very peaceful to eat alone. Chill music, clean interior. I will return if in the area. read more

First off this place was originally Jenny's Pho, then Pho 88, and now Shiba Pho however the entrance sign still says Pho 88 so it can be confusing. I went there to order to go. There was no one else inside and there were two people working. They were both nice and offered me water while I waited. They did a great job packing the food. I ordered the seafood pho and two brisket pho. It was delicious, the broth was so savory and flavorful and my kids said the brisket was tender. I did wish there was more seafood in my pho but overall we were all happy with our meal. I will definitely be going back again. read more

This is Pho 88 but under new ownership. I'm so glad they are finally open because I've been craving a banh mi for a few weeks now. I liked how crispy the crab rangoons were, but they could definitely use a bit more filling. I ordered a pork banh mi on white bread. Overall, the sandwich was good but I was definitely missing some cilantro and the pickled veg that traditionally come with a banh mi. I did get a bit more flavor by add some Sriracha sauce to the sandwich. Definitely will be back to try some pho. read more

...A solid 3.5, but I'll round up because it's a unique restaurant in Brownsburg. We came in right in the middle of their dinner rush and we greeted and seated quickly. Their menu is very interesting with some uncommon Vietnamese dishes found on there. We ended up ordering the pho and the Vermicelli salad with pork. The pho broth was definitely one of the better ones I've tasted; rich in spices. I was a bit disappointed that it didn't come with any greens to put in the soup--usually basil or cilantro. The salad was also delicious with crispy pork and a cut egg roll in it. It was definitely a very good meal. Looking forward to coming back to this place again when I'm in the area. Now named Shiba Pho. We have ordered carryout from here before and had ordered from here when it used to be Pho 88. Both have had delicious food. I wanted to review our first time dining in last night at Shiba Pho. We stopped in for a quick bite. By our fault, it was about 40 minutes before closing time, so I felt bad for the sweet man that runs/owns the restaurant. He was so kind to make our daughter a special dish of meat with broccoli and rice on the side. She absolutely loved it and gobbled it all up! My husband had the hot and spicy beef soup and I had the pho special. Both were generous portions and delicious! We will definitely continue to order from here often. The restaurant was clean with plenty of tables for dining and had a cozy atmosphere. read more

Stopped by to dine in for lunch and really enjoyed it! The staff was friendly and helpful as I ordered, and I was pleasantly surprised that I could substitute beef broth for chicken broth in my pho. I usually add chili oil to my pho to add spice, but I tried adding sriracha at my server's recommendation, and it was delicious! Too bad the previous business was sold and the new restaurant doesn't live up to it's predecessor. We ordered the Banh Mi sandwiches for takeout and menu lists price at $9 which I think is quite a bit for what you get. Fortunately we were given 20% off which I think is more of a fair price. Unfortunately, I can't leave a good review for these sandwiches because they were no where near the quality in comparison to the previous restaurant or other Vietnamese restaurants that I've eaten at. The biggest miss was the fact that they used cheap soft bread and not the French baguette that is normally served with Banh Mi's. This place used to be my favorite place to eat in Brownsburg, but since it changed Names\Ownership it went downhill. They didn't have fried egg rolls or any beef products on the day my family came. The food we could actually buy was "OK" at best, but not nearly as good as the previous food. Server didn't understand the difference between Coke and diet Coke until I physically had to point to the drink I wanted...will not be back to this location unless it changes names/ownership again. read more

We have been visiting this spot for several years, since back when it was Pho 88. Always been happy with the food and service even after it was changed to Shiba Pho a while back. But the past couple of visits they have charged us more than what the menu shows. It is only $1 more on the items but it just seems strange that they would charge more than the listed price in the menu (by the way the menus are fairly new). If they need to raise the prices I understand, but don't just change the price and not say anything. read more

We've been to this restaurant a few times now and each time was great. They didn't disappoint. Granted this is the new owner and management, their menu offers many choices. The best dishes I found so far are the pho and spring rolls. The prices are pretty much the same as most of the Vietnamese restaurants I have been to in the area. Come and give them a try, you wont be disappointed. I had a chance to talk to the owner. He was very nice and even said that if there are dishes that you want to change a thing or two, he can modify according to your likings. That was a big plus for me because my husband has celiac. After the meals he didn't have any issues at all. I understand that they just open and have limited staffing and help, but they try their best. I will return often.
