Buffalo Chicken: 6/10 -- my sister got this and rated it a 6 (because there are no 7s on my scale). for $15+ and no side of fries this was kind of a scam sandwich lol #recessionindicator Sweet Lou's: 6/10 -- heavy on the sweet i was a fool i looooove bbq but their special "q sauce" was a bit like molasses rather than classic bbq. the patty, onion ring, and bacon were perfect but i literally could not taste them without scraping off the sticky sauce. again, $15+ and no side i feel like the flavor wasn't enough for me to recommend this to anyone. Tender & Fries: 6/10 -- what in the walmart brand frozen curly fries without salt nonsense on a plate was this... they got us LOOOOL... great value??? YEAH hard pass!!!! I was visiting my sister and she recommended this place because she had heard about it from fellow IU students. My thoughts: come for the IU memorabilia, and ambience, eat an order of onion rings (maybe sip a beer) while you watch a game and leave! The food was mediocre at best and wayyy overpriced.

I recommend doing that because their standard buffalo sauce (which was alright) was the worst of the sauces that I sampled. I ordered hot honey wings and loaded fries. The hot honey wings were dynamite. The loaded fries were good too - the fries and seasoning were great and the nacho cheese was okay. The staff was nice and patient with me since I was a newbie. The restaurant consists of a take-out counter so you have to place your order to go, which takes about 10 minutes. They have a couple of picnic tables outside. Chilly Water Brewing is across the street if you get bored waiting for your order. There isn't a parking lot so you have to park on the street. They're open until midnight, but I would feel weird going here after dark because it's not in the greatest part of town.

We sat on the heated patio and it was so nice and warm. We split the huge Bavarian pretzel for an appetizer. I've had this before at the Castleton location and it was as good as I remember. Both the nacho cheese raspberry wasabi mustard are good too. The snack size boneless wings are enough for a meal for sure. I went with the Hermaican flavor. They smelled so good. There wasn't a lot of spice so I think I prefer the No-Way and Three mile Island sauces I've had in the past. I also would've liked more celery and carrots but that's just a personal preference and most people are probably more than ok with just a veggie garnish. My brother had the tenderloin and my mom had the burger. They both enjoyed them. There are lots of tv's everywhere you look, prefect for sports. This time around the Winter Olympics were on. Our server was friendly and talkative and checked on us often.

It's definitely not a great set up for a band (too small, feel like you are sitting on the speakers, reverb) - so if you want conversation, this wouldn't be the place for you on Fridays. The seltzer selection was limited, but most people show up for the beers so not a big deal. The food has never disappointed. I tried the new Naki Burger and it was delicious! Definitely recommend trying it if you like the hermanaki style profile.

My husband ordered through Google orders which seemed odd but we got the Apple BBQ sauced wings, garlic parmesan, and lemon pepper wings. We plugged in the address for the wings for pick up and it let us to Chili's. We were so confused and thought maybe something was wrong but we saw a sign that said It's Just Wings pickup parking spot. It said a team member would come out but we waited and finally called the number on the site but it did not work. My husband decided to go into Chili's to check on the food and it was there. While he did that, I read the website and discovered it It's Just Wings has multiple locations and the chefs at Chili's and Maggiano's are the ones making the wings as well. They do it for a cheaper price since it's pick up or delivery. We brought the food back and were surprised that each box of wings has its own fry order which we were unaware of so we had ordered extra fries. The wings were nicely sauced and alright flavors. The fries were a bit soft for us so we threw them in the air fryer. Overall the experience was odd but the wings were pretty decent for the cheaper price.

Chicken, with wings, drums, and tenders offered in several heat levels. I went with the Curry tenders (medium), and my husband chose the Hot Honey wings (also medium). Both delivered exactly the right amount of heat--noticeable but not overwhelming. The crunch factor was definitely there, and the chicken itself was moist and flavorful. Sides are ordered separately, so we added onion rings. They were large and looked great, though they were just okay for me. Portions, however, were huge. Our total was around $32, which felt a bit pricey, but the amount of food made up for it. Honestly, we could have shared one entrée if we ever agreed on the same thing. They do serve beer, milk teas, and smoothies too, but we took our order home and enjoyed our own drinks. The atmosphere inside is casual with a giant screen playing K‑Pop videos, which adds a fun vibe if you dine in. Overall, I liked it and would return--next time with fewer items or more people to help tackle those portions.

I happened to visit on a warmer day so I was able to see the space with the garage door open. It was golden hour and it had everything all lit up. Very beautiful. Our service was amazing, couldn't have asked for a better server. I can't remember her name but she was so detailed in her descriptions, thoughtful with her suggestions, and had the perfect amount of attentiveness. Now on to the fun parts.... Drinks were a hit! We told our server what we like and they recommended a couple options. I again can't remember the exact name of the drink but mine was a gin cocktail. I'll attach some photos for you. As for the food, every bite I took was delicious. Our table shared the fried brussel sprouts and the ginger miso salad. A very lovely way to ease into our meal on a lighter note. They split up the salad onto two plates for us, which was sweet of them. The portion was pretty good for a $12 salad. Very refreshing. Brussel sprouts were absolutely fire. Get them! Along with that, I also ordered the tempura shrimp maki roll. Inside the roll was cucumber and avocado with giant tempura shrimp right on top, drizzled in spicy mayo. The presentation was cool, a slightly deconstructed version of what I would get somewhere else. There wasn't a single bite left on the plate. I would order all three of these dishes again in a heartbeat. Perfect for a date night or special occasion, but also works for just grabbing a bite with friends. Whenever I find myself back in Indy, Modita will be on my list.

The place was busy for a Friday night, and was somewhat loud. Our waitress greeted us quickly, and was on top of things throughout the night. I started off with a ginger miso salad, based on recommendations on this page. Personally, I could have went without the $12 salad. I would have paid more like $6 for the amount of actual salad I got. The dressing was good, but nothing extraordinary. I did ask for no cucumbers- I could taste a faint taste of cucumbers on the salad, so think they just took them off after they were already placed. We split some Bao Buns. These were the highlight of the show. The pork on them was thick, the slaw was fresh, and the bao bun itself was fluffy. We split two dishes for dinner- the short rib and the chicken udon noodles. The chicken udon noodles were fantastic- packed full of flavor and tons of toppings in it. The short rib fell a little short of my expectations, but I had high expectations to begin with. We have had the short rib multiple times in the past- and normally it is a hunk of meat, similar to a roast. Now, it is strips of tiny pieces of meat with a bone attached to it. If the owner/general manager is reading this- GO BACK TO THE ROAST STYLE- the strips of meat was too much work to eat. Still packed full of great flavor though. I had the bridge to Anshun for my drink. I had never had Baiju before, but glad I tried it. It was a tangy drink that was also sweet- would say it's a must try. Overall, some changes since our last visit that weren't expected, but overall had a great evening here. Can't wait to return.
