a plate of chinese food with noodles and broccoli
    Tank G.

This restaurant has a decent sized dining area but it is currently not open for dining. They are only accepting carry out or delivery. You can place your order online or call it in. There is an adequate amount of parking spots available in the lot that it shares with the other business in the strip mall that it is in. The staff was ok. They were not rude, but they sure were not overly friendly. They just did their job. They serve you typical Chinese food, and you can get most items in as a lunch or a platter, with the main difference being the platter is a larger serving and comes with an egg roll. I will admit, they do have some very reasonable prices. I ordered the sesame chicken platter with noddles. It was prepared very quickly. It took about 5 minutes. I got my food home and it was still pipinhg hot. It tasted ok. Your typical Chinese food carry out. It was not authentic or memorable. It filled my belly and did what it was supposed to do. The egg roll that came with the platter was the same, just average. The one thing this place has going for it is that is one of only a few Chinese food restaurants in the area. This spot will do for me in a pinch, but I would probably hit up another Chienese food spot, that may be a bit further of a drive, to satisfy my Chinese food craving.

I'm still searching for the best Chinese take out in the Greenwood area, but this isn't it. The food was pretty standard - good selection on the menu, but nothing really sets it apart. My noodles were too salty. The rice was average. I did like that they put corn, peas and carrots in the rice. Usually don't see corn in Chinese rice. I may go back, but will try other places first.

Consistently good. This has become our go to carry out option. Hot and sour soup is amazing as well as Hunan chicken and moo goo gai pan.

Favorite spot for Chinese. Love their vegetable fried rice. Not the best egg rolls. But hands down my favorite fried rice.

I've been in this building so many times, going back to Carvers Steakhouse and then Smokey bones but Mo's makes the building work best. If I had one comment that wasn't positive it's your chairs. They simply don't move well with your flooring. But, that aside, your staff, Fabian, (and especially the young Lady that was working with Fabian), did an extraordinary job and she had a great personality. On this night, Mo's excelled. We will definitely return.

Our booth had a sign on it congratulating our 15 years and confetti stars. Our server was Jenny and she was top notch! They had a stage area by the bar that had a lady singing different songs. The place is really nice inside and also had a few tvs as well. We ordered the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer, and it came with the largest shrimp I have ever seen! Jenny poured water on the dry ice holding the shrimp and sauce, and it started smoking. It was a really awesome to see! She also brought bread and butter to the table, which was really good. I know it's considered an after dinner drink, but I had the espresso martini with my dinner, well actually three of them since they were amazing! I started with the French onion soup and that was really good and presented well. My husband started with the salad. He ordered a New York strip and truffle potatoes for dinner, while I ordered the pasta with mushrooms, spinach and tomatoes. Both of our dinners were perfectly prepared and nicely flavored. Since we were there celebrating, we got to enjoy a complimentary dessert. We chose the MO's cookie, it was outstanding and arrived at the table with a sparkler in it! Customer service is on point! Food is delicious and so happy we have a place like this in Greenwood.

Gladly when it was our turn the young lady that took my name down remembered because he was totally calling out a whole different name, could have been missed had she not been up there or if I wasn't paying attention. Got seated. Our server was very nice and helpful since it was my first time. Chloe did an excellent job by explaining how the boil works and flavoring etc. we ordered lemon drop martinis. Unfortunately they missed the mark. They definitely were not prepared properly which is fine but I guess it's my fault considering it's not known for their drinks. No hard feelings I drank mine. I ordered hush puppies to start...definitely need some more of these! Flavorful and the sauces it came with were delicious. I ended to dipping mine in my boil bag and let me just say that was AMAZING. I ordered the scallops and shrimp and added the boiled eggs for an extra charge of $2.95. Very delicious very tasty and the garlic lemon Cajun mild was a great choice. Everything was cooked exactly right and the seasoning was on point it wasn't overly salty or spicy and yet wasn't even an ounce of bland. I of course took my half home and glad she wrapped it up good so nothing leaked out. Needless to say the bag boil was very good and definitely would go back. As far as ambiance goes it was very busy and lots of people enjoying their food. Lighting was a bit soft but it wasn't bad. (Pics aren't loading, I'll add when internet isn't acting up)

The service was very helpful deciding what to order. The setting was fun down town indanopolis feel. The lobster roll was definitely the standout. It was packed with fresh, flavorful lobster and had a nice balance of buttery richness without feeling too heavy. You can tell the seafood is high quality, which makes a huge difference. The lobster deviled eggs were super unique and honestly one of my favorite bites. Creamy, slightly tangy, and topped with lobster--it's not something you see everywhere, and they executed it really well. My husband tried the shrimp burrito, which was great for a seafood spot. It was hearty, well-seasoned, and filled generously. It didn't feel like an afterthought on the menu. To finish, the cheesecake was a great choice it was from the cheesecake factory is what the offered for my birthday smooth, rich, and just the right level of sweetness with a strawberry topping to end the meal without being overwhelming. Overall, Slap's Fish Market delivers on both creativity and quality. It's a great spot if you want fresh seafood with a few fun, unexpected twists. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.

Not gonna lie, my work group really likes coming here when we have lunch outings. My only problem?…read moreI very much dislike seafood to any capacity. Yet, I still eat here just fine. I feel like most seafood places will have vegetarian options by way of removing the fish from pasta dishes or salad, but it's also nice to know that you can get chicken as a substitute on most of these kinds of dishes, too. Granted, it's just like chicken tenders, but still good nonetheless. I really like their firecracker pasta, which is moderately spicy in my opinion. There's no particular fishy smell here, which is always a good sign that the seafood they serve here is freshly prepared. Our food always comes out quickly for lunch and we've been a group as large as 8 or 9. I do believe that ordering is mostly done online in their mass Ave location, though. I don't really seek out a place like Slapfish on my own (no offense at all, just not a seafood girlie!!), but I would assume that it's a rather popular establishment as they recently opened a fifth location in the greater Indy area. If I did like fish and such more, I'd probably be here on a more regular rotation.
