Alright I admit I was skeptical all the other places near by were closed and I have been looking for great soups in the area and they were open till 10pm while all the competition closed at 9pm. I called and ordered a large wonton soup, large hot and sour soup and small egg drop soup. I went to pick up for carryout they took my order at 9:30 no complaints and when. I arrived 10 min later it was ready to go. End of the night order was made to perfection each one had such great flavor in every bite each broth and soup truly stood out on its own hot and fresh and delicious I can't wait to try more items from this place. My food did not even make it to photos it was so good I had downed most of it all before I remembered to photo anything. The wonton soup full of wonton and broth, the hot and sour perfect and filled up so well. The egg drop soup fresh and cleary delicious. I ordered dinner through DoorDash and was disappointed with the food and also felt sick after eating the food. - Ragoons were cold and didn't have any flavor. - Pork Spring Rolls were cold on the inside. - Shrimp in Garlic Sauce and the Orange Chicken were not made spicy as instructed so that was bland. This is THE MOST bland food ever! $40 wasted. We ordered the beef lo mein, fresh shrimp chop Suey, beef, egg drop soup, crab ragoon and another beef dish. You can taste the shrimp and cabbage, but not any sauce or seasoning. The noodles had no taste nor did any of the sauces in any of it. The soup... bland also. You can taste the cream cheese in the ragoons, but that's it. I added soy sauce to stuff, but it didn't help. I'll doctor it up tomorrow as leftovers and add flavor to each dish. The meals were $25 plus tax them $10 fees and a set driver tip of over $7 I regret not ordering pizza I'm so disappointed. But one good thing is that food was hot when I got it. read more

I have usually been satisfied with the quality of food from CHINA KING but a few days ago to my surprise my food was not as good as before. It had an old oil taste like the oil was overdue needing change. They have increased prices and it looks like they are cutting corners. The service has always been stellar. Absolutely my favorite place for Chinese food! It's no mystery why they've been around years upon years. I usually get the Sweet & Sour Chicken which is very delicious. Today I was craving the Orange Chicken. It came with fried rice, an egg roll, and a fortune cookie. I also bought some of their almond cookies. Everything was delicious! Their almond cookies were soft and tasty, much more fresh than almond cookies that I've tried at other Chinese restaurants which are hard and crunchy. The staff are always very friendly, and they keep the restaurant clean. There's not a lot of seating available, which is alright because I order mine as carry out anyway. So, if you have a Chinese food craving, try this place out. I think you'll like it, too. read more

Customer service sucks. No greeting. The 4ft tall girl up front had and attitude. I dont know what for. Seems like the easiest job in the world. It came with mixed vegies and you could tell they were very fresh!! -Also got the shrimp eggrolls and crab rangoon and they even gave me a side of homemade sweet and sour sauce in addition to the packets. I was very happy about that. -I ordered the hot and sour soup and asked if it had pork and she said they could make me a fresh batch without! (I hope she didnt just pick out the meat) -However, my hubby got the shrimp in lobster sauce....DO NOT ORDER...it was the weirdest and nastiest thing every!!! It's mediocre, that's really all I can say. The interior of the restaurant is a chaotic mess, but that's no sin because most of us are probably just there to pick up an order to go. The General Tso's chicken is bland and dry, a very unpleasant texture but the flavor wasn't too terrible. The so-called fried rice is very obviously just yellow rice mixed with barely any pieces of meat and lots of undercooked onion. The eggroll is small and overlooked, with an unremarkable filling. I would consider this a reasonably inexpensive Chinese takeout place for people who don't know better. After eating here, I actually felt bad for anyone who considers this good Chinese food, because they're doing themselves a disservice by not going somewhere better. Will not be returning here. The food here is not too bad. Decent priced. We have been here twice now and when we get in there isn't many people but the lady behind the register is very very rude. We came in again but this time I couldn't take it, we were the only customers and she was worse then the last time. I can understand people getting frustrated when there's a dinner rush but we were the only customers there and she was very snappy and seemed to just want to get us out of the way. So we left. I brought my little brother and sister last time we came and my little sister was just getting into Chinese food and was asking questions when ordering and that seemed to really upset the cashier as she became very impatient with my 11 year old sister. It has a cute little dining room if you choose to eat there. The prices are fair and I have never had a negative experience, we have dined there an easy 20+ times in the past few years. OUTSTANDING FOOD!! I don't think any Chinese Restaurants hold a candle to theirs. I've been ordering there off and on for years and have never had a wrong order or bad food. I used to eat there a lot more often than I do now because of finances. Dollar menu's are even out of my budget right now. My last experience was with the Pork Lo Mein and an egg roll.. Yummy! I got it to go and ate it about 2 hours later and it was still wonderful. So often take out will get nasty, but not theirs. I told the lady that I've always wished they would open a large sit down restaurant on the south side or in Greenwood. I know that as good as the food is, the people would come. i know they would probably have to raise their prices by about 50 cents for everything, but I think people would be happy to pay a few extra cents. I'm hoping I can get something there at least two times a month in the near future. I'm almost in Whiteland, but they are still worth the drive. read more

Sweet and sour chicken was good. Crab Rangoon had almost no filling. Hot and sour soup was excessively salty, with a burned taste and very little in the way of tofu or mushrooms. They didn't include any rice. I really miss Szechwan Garden. I wish they hadn't closed. :( read more
