It's the newest neighborhood place for casual Chinese food. It is a popular takeout spot. New China does a busy delivery business with Uber Eats, DoorDash, and probably others. Today, I decided to have an eat-in experience. They have 6 four-top tables along with 1 table that sits 8 guests. There's a TV that usually plays ABC News Live. Tonight is no exception. The cashier stops at the table to check on me and ensure my meal is satisfactory. It's good food at a reasonable price and their restaurant is clean. (I did not visit the restroom.) if you're interested in basic Chinese food--they do have Egg Foo Yung with all the different meats. (EFY is not an option for a Combo meal.) I'd give it a solid 3.5. I didn't take a picture of the sad little baby spring rolls... bless it, but they were tasteless. The orange chicken was really good - like, I'd order that again without hesitation. They give you plenty! I don't even know how I'm going to eat all the leftovers. I was expecting the small to be... well, small. Anyway. The pepper steak was just okay. It lacked flavor for me. And of course, lots of giant peppers instead of slicing them down...and a crap ton of veggies without much steak. But that's typical. The shrimp fried rice... Tasteless. I don't usually like to add more soy sauce to my food (and I didn't), but you're gonna need to drizzle the sauce from one of the other meals onto it or SOMETHING because homegirl was tasteless. Disappointing. The shrimp and broccoli was fine - exactly what you'd expect. Everything was packaged well, so I'd say attentive service for takeout. Not sure what it looks like on the inside/bathrooms/cleanliness, etc. since we did takeout, but I would go back for the orange chicken unless I find a place with better + solid shrimp fried rice. P.S. Remember when they used to automatically put eggs in the fried rice without you having to pay extra? I miss those days. read more

Tried New China for dinner and had a great experience! I ordered the tofu vegetable soup and steamed vegetables with tofu (no shrimp) they were super accommodating with my request and made it perfectly. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I also sampled the orange chicken, and it was delicious, crispy, tangy, and not overly sweet. The staff were friendly, service was quick, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming inside. I went and tried New China yesterday and it was really great. The rice needed a lil soy sauce but the chicken was cooked well, saucy, and it was a good portion size. Now I got a side order of crab Rangoon and those were really good but it only came with two. I needed more. The women working at the establishment were very nice and helpful. I'll definitely going back and make sure I eat inside. read more

I decided to this place a try after reading reviews and hearing recommendations from social media groups. I conveniently placed an order online for my Chinese takeout usual. I ordered on my way home on a Saturday afternoon and was given an approximate 15 minutes for a pickup time. Upon arrival I noticed the restaurant's dining area very clean. There were several tables set up for eat in service. My to go order was ready. The meal was filling, but was pretty standard. The rice was bland and I've had better general tso sauce. One of the meals, the fried rice was missing! One of the meals that was selected was Cashew Nut Chicken. However, they were not cashews, they were PEANUTS! Ordered in on a Friday night. Our food was ready within 10 minutes! When we walked in the restaurant, it was very clean, and there was a couple there eating in. The food is very flavorful, very good quality. We got the dinner combos, that are $9.75 each, and well worth the value! The general tsos is better than panda express's. My partner tried the Moo goo gai pan, which he had never tried before. He said it was different, and definitely worth a try! Overall, we will be back. I get take out from here quite often, I am a fan of the hot and sour soup and the house special Mai fun. Hubs and I decided to dine in (11.21.24) . I mixed up my usual order a bit and got the sicy shrim and chicken noodles soup and the Singapore Mai fun. - Basically the house special but with curry. Hubs had the curry chicken . Mine was good. His didn't have a ton of chicken and was mosty onions. I ut his leftovers in my dish which was perfect. I ordered the house chow mein and there was no noodles just a bunch of onion and oil and meats. The sweet and sour sauce was just sour and the rice was stale with frozen veggies. We paid over the phone and were told that our meal would be delivered to our hotel in 47-50 minutes. In about 15 minutes our food was popping hot and delivered to us! It was hot, fresh and delicious. Food is amazing! Delivery service was a full 10 minutes before expected...and when you're in a hotel away from home, exhausted and starving-that is simply the best type of restaurant to deal with.
