Marinated #23 Grilled Pork Banh Mi ( Banh Mi Thit Heo Nướng )
    June F.

Went in for a lunch and everything was great. Parking is available behind the building. It was convenient and easy. We had a spring rolls, kids size pho, ban mi and grilled short ribs with rice. They were all tasty and delicious. Business was slow during the weekday so service was awesome. Looking forward to go back and try other things.

Chef Ricky is a beloved friend of the Broad Ripple community. This is a fine dining experience of Vietnamese cuisine, and as a Vietnamese person I can vouch for the food being an authentic take adapted to local Hoosier palettes. The pho and dim sum are my favorite items on the menu. The seating area is classy and staff are great!

After a friend highly recommended Eating Fresh I decided to give them another try. She raved about the short rib pho. I ended up coming to try and pho wasn't able to leave a review or picture because I completely devoured it. It was amazing I can't express how delicious the broth was. Usually have to doctor my pho up but I didn't have to add anything. It was so damn good. Today I had lunch with a friend we had a bahi mi and I ordered the spicy beef soup she had the beef stew. The spicy beef noodles were great loaded with beef and a nice flavor I would've liked mine to be spicier. The bahi mi was delicious the bread was baked perfectly and I loved all the pickled vegetables. The service was great the owner served us and you can tell he's very very passionate and loves what he does. Definitely worth a visit.

Had an amazing experience sampling the dim sum, bahn mi, pho and desserts as part of the all-you-can eat option! Everything was fantastic and the staff really seemed to care about the food. My favorite was the pho and really cool desserts! Shoutout to our amazing waitress Ursula!

The food was nice and fresh so the name of the place is very fitting! The environment was clean and calming. The music added a nice touch to the place. The service was a 10/10. The owner took great care of us. We dined later in the evening and the quality of the food and service felt as if they had just opened up for the day! Would highly recommend. We tried the 5 course buffet for $34.50 and would definitely return.

Consider I'm Vietnamese. This was a tough review.. This is from the heart. This is authentic as it can be. The chef absolutely nailed the recipe! Absolutely amazing! 1000% recommend you go there and give it a shot. The Pho was absolutely amazing as well but the spicy noodles is on a different level. Definitely brings back memories from Viet. If you're Vietnamese, you know how hard this dish is perfect.

Absolutely delicious! Best pho I've ever had. I'll definitely be back for more. Service was quick and the chef came out to ask how we like everything. You can see the pride he has in his food.

I've been twice in a couple weeks! It's so good! I think this is legit the best bowl of pho I've had, and I've been eating pho regularly for years! The famous beef stew was like a warm hug from my grandma and the fried dumplings are good. The service is great, the chef is nice, helpful, and playful. The ambiance is nice. It's been clean inside when I've gone. 10 out of 10, I highly recommend.

Service was great , ambiance was very nice. Food was very good. Fresh loved the lemon grass beef and the shrimp rolls. My husband got the pho . Loved everything! Will be back!

We went on a Sunday right before heading for a show and we were glad to stopped by! The food was delicious and fresh and tasty. They had a Lemongrass dipping sauce on the table, that was flavorful. You mix the lemongrass with some soy sauce for dipping. The buns and dim sum were steamed and tasty. Like any small locally owned place, I think service was a little slower paced. So just make sure to have a little bit of extra time if you have to be anywhere. The restaurant was beautiful. I liked that that had the wonders of the world playing on the tv. The soup on the menu is pho broth and with the poached egg was delicious.

We had a great time at Eating Fresh. Wonderful drinks (wine and sake) and good food (fried rice and pho). Service was prompt and friendly. My serving of shrimp fried rice was plentiful and tasty. The only weird thing is our table was in the back and was a tight fit for the walk to and from the restroom. It interrupted us often with people squeezing through. Overall, I recommend the food and drink and service! I would come back.

This place is great. A very nice Vietnamese couple opened the restaurant in 2021 and struggled for bit because of the Broad Ripple construction, but their food is the real deal. We had the flank steak premium pho and the beef short rib pho, several dim sum offerings including Har Gow (shrimp dumplings), fresh garden rolls, and Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio (beef & eggroll rice dish). Next time we'll try the sizzling hot plate and table grill selection. Everything was tasty, but the short rib and Har Gow were our favorites. There are some vegetarian and I believe gluten free options. Note for first timers: getting to the location is a bit tricky with some one-way circle turns ending in the back of several adjoining small neighboring parking lot rear entrances similarly situated, but once you figure it out, it's easy to return. The sign on the door says "FE" in large letters but doesn't actually say "Eating Fresh". Quirky, but the food is worth it -- this is some of the best Pho and dim sum in the area.

The food was ready surprisingly fast, probably within 7 to 10 minutes. The staff was friendly throughout the visit and did a great job checking in on us, clearing trays, and making sure everything was going well. As for the atmosphere, I can appreciate the theme they were going for, even if it's not quite my style. The dining room is pretty dark, and the dark murals make it feel even darker. That said, the food and service easily made up for it. Overall, it was a really good experience and a place I'd happily visit again.

The fatty brisket especially was incredible. Tender, juicy, packed with flavor, and honestly didn't even need sauce. This recent visit felt like a completely different restaurant. Apparently you can't request fatty or lean anymore, and the brisket I received was so dry it literally crumbled apart like beef sawdust. There was basically zero fat left on it, which also meant very little flavor. For the first time ever, the sauce wasn't optional... it was rescue equipment. The ribs were okay, but even they weren't what they used to be. They used to have that perfect fall-off-the-bone texture, and now they were just kind of there. Not terrible, just disappointing compared to how good this place once was. I'm not trying to trash Trax because I know how great they can be. That's actually what makes this frustrating. It feels like the brisket went from "Texas smokehouse masterpiece" to "beef jerky with a college degree."

You can order the meat only or get a dinner that includes 2 sides and your choice of bread (white, wheat, or cornbread). They provide very generous portion sizes. However, the sauce is what takes it over the top for me. They offer sweet, medium, hot, or they will mix the sauces for you. The hot has a pretty good kick as a warning if you are sensitive to spice. I recently tried the Bar B Q bun, which is essentially a pulled pork sandwich. The pork is finely shredded and the sauce is poured on top of the pork. It's almost a fork and knife sandwich, as the bottom bun gets soaked in the sauce. Their sides have definitely reduced in quality over the years. I recently tried the mac and cheese and greens.
