Stopped at this place for lunch with friends, because they said it's their favorite. It's been around for over 20 years so you know the food must be good. As flavors go, it was very good. The only downside for me where I'm not going to give it five stars, was the price. My husband got the chicken noodle soup, dinner portion, at lunchtime. I got the Thai fried rice and we split an order of the dumplings. There were five dumplings, for 8.99 IMO, those are some expensive dumplings! The soup had good flavor, but the bowl wasn't very big and it was 15.99. The fried rice was a very large portion and enough for two meals for me so that was a decent price but wow, the other two items were very expensive. The place is adorable and my friend got the Thai iced tea which she loves and the spring rolls were nice and crispy. It was just the portion sizes that threw me off. We just wanted a quick bite for lunch and I wasn't really prepared for an almost $70 meal including tip. It's located in a strip mall at the end cap, so there's lots of parking.

The wanting attitizer was cooked perfectly. Served with a sweet sauce on carrot and purple cabbage shavings. I wanted a little more flavor that soy sauce could provide but the soy sauce was not gluten-free so I used very little... but tasted better for my personal taste. The sweet sauce was good I just love salty and savory. The soup was perfect. It added a nice light touch and tied in the chicken flavor with the rest of the meal. Chicken broth cooked in onions and peppers flower with a few Pad Thai noodles. The spring roll was also perfectly done. I love have crispy bites along with my noodle for texture and crunch. The small side salad was iceburg lettuce with carrot and purple cabbage shreds. The ginger dressing is the best part. Rich and tangy. Lastly the Pad Thai with chicken. I did not expect such a big portion for lunch. For $11.99 lunch special you get the main dish with salad and soup. I had to take most of my pad Thai to go. The pad Thai was of course very rich with peanut sauce and crushed peanuts on top. I was greeted right away and the food came quickly. I choose to sit out on the patio and enjoy the shade on what was to be a very hot day. There is a little fountain on the patio that provides a nice peaceful ambiance along with the plants and flowers. I was so full I did not want to get up so I just sat back and relaxed and enjoyed the day and my meal, With plenty in my togo box for dinner. The restaurant in side was beautiful. I love the decor. And the peaceful atmosphere. The do have wine an beer, not sure about cocktails. Next time I will need to come for dinner. The only I personally would add is some gluten-free soy sauce upon request and a definite allergy designation.obvously if you have a nut allergy you will not be at a Thai restaurant lol but I personally can't do almonds with should be easy enough to find out. But dairy and gluten is a big no no for me so I really need to know and be absolutely sure. When I ask I don't want a guess, I need a definate answer. Thankfully I don't have a true allergy to either but a very high sensitivity. Please if this info could be added I would appreciate very much and I know there are others out there. It's difficult when you are not cooking your own meals, you have to rely on the staff to provide the information.

If you like a thick over flowing crab Rangoon and saucy pad Thai this is your place! Everything they had was good. They have a lunch special for about $10 you get an egg roll, soup, salad, pad Thai. The soup had rice noodles similar to pho, and was boiling hot. The salad dressing was like a honey mustard. Both were kind of unexpected at a Thai place. I was thinking it would be Tom yum soup and ginger dressing for the salad. But it was good. I heard from a couple tables that the spicy was almost inedible spicy, and the chef just got some new peppers and it was a little but more potent than normal. I asked for some Sirachi or hot sauce on the side to control it. Alas, my request was unfulfilled. And they seemed a bit busy. Food was great but the seating was very close to one another, and the configuration seemed odd to me. But all was good. All in all we'll be back and have some more crab Rangoon!

    Dishes "Thai hot"

We walk in and sit next to an older, white, patrician looking couple - think th groom's parents from "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". They sit down just before us and order their dishes, both "mild spicy" aka "not spicy at all". The spicy scale is mild, medium, hot, Thai hot. I order the sizzling beef special, Thai hot. I have eaten at Thai Kitchen before, eaten stuff Thai hot and lived to tell about it. They deliver the sizzling beef special and it's on a very hot platter so the capsaicin is in the air with the steam and mini oil droplets. The diners from the House of Windsor next to us cannot take it and start to cough incessantly. The other Indiana white people in the restaurant follow their lead and cough uncontrollably, staring at us like we just took a dump in the middle of the restaurant. The Thai owners quickly open the front and side doors in an effort to save their white diners. Too late. One couple who had just sat down and had not ordered yet cannot take the heat in the dining room, get up, and walk out of the restaurant. One of the couples a little further from us find the situation humorous and chuckle a little with us before they leave after paying their bill. But the royalty next to us are not amused, thank you very much. After a little bit the situation calms down a little, Philip and Elizabeth take the 75% of their dishes that they have not eaten yet home to finish. They can't take it any more. As they are leaving, they ask the server what happened and if it happens every time. The server explains that no one ever orders sizzling beef Thai hot, so it's the first time it's ever happened, and profusely apologizes. The woman mutters "Well, that was exciting." The pepper spray incident aka dinner was probably the most exciting thing to happen to them in at least six months.

I have been wanting to try this Thai restaurant for awhile now and I ordered carry out which I wouldn't typically do for my first time but I ordered the Thai Kitchen Sample, Hot Chicken Pad Thai, and Steam vegetables! The vegetables were so fresh with no oils or seasoning! The Kitchen Sample was absolutely Perfect it you Enjoy trying new foods! My favorite part of the sample were the Shrimp Blankets!! My favorite Part of the meal was absolutely the Crab Rangoon! The pad Thai was literally Life changing and I'm Soooo excited we got it! Get the Thai hot on the side and make it spicier if you're into that! can't wait to go back!!!

I was in the mood for something different so decided on trying Thai. Not a super friendly vibe when you walk in, but service was quick, and food was solid, it had good flavor and came out hot! Hit the spot for something different.

I've been coming to Thai Kitchen for years! I can say they're taste, spice and quality is very consistent and authentic. I've had an issue in the past with the customer service being very poor regardless of the language barrier; bad attitude as if you're inconveniencing them by coming to eat at the restaurant. I went there a couple weeks ago out of desperation of my undeniable craving for Thum Yum soup and I was pleasantly surprised! I asked if they had new owners or what, but the person working up front said nothing's changed. I was so happy and even when the food wasn't spicy enough, they remade it to make it hotter. The only thing I can say is the cigar bar next door definitely takes the atmosphere down at least by 50%. Other than that, the service has improved 100% and the food quality is still consisten

Staff members didn't say much but always kept our water glass fill and checked in on us. Pandemic ambience is very quiet but the food was delicious. We started with a large Lemongrass Soup (tom yum) to split and crab rangoon. The soup would've been able to split among four people as a starter and was so good. The crab rangoon dipping sauce is tangy and the rangoons were filled quite full - love that! Our entrees were Pad Kee Mao and Pad See Ew, both the perfect amount of spice that we asked for (choose from Mild, Medium, Hot, Extra Hot, Thai Hot). I was hoping they had sticky rice and mango but they said their mangos were not ripe enough so no dessert but I will definitely be back!

    Sara A.

If you are looking for a solid Thai spot, I recommend Thai Kitchen. Available for dine in, pick up, or delivery, you can enjoy Thai Kitchen anywhere! To start I got the shrimp tempura appetizer. It comes with a sauce that is semi sweet and some spice. Definitely enough of an app to share. For my main course I got my classic chicken pad Thai with no heat. The serving provides me with multiple meals which I love! Also, the flavor of this dish is great and the dish has an appropriate amount of sauce so it's not dry. Whether you are looking to explore other Thai flavors or have a classic dish you stick with, check out Thai Kitchen for your next Thai craving!

The staff are super friendly and the menu has a great selection of both classic Thai dishes and their own Chef's Specialties. I started with the Papaya Salad and it was delicious. It was large with fresh ingredients and big spices. I ordered medium spice and it had the perfect amount of heat. Hot would have been too spicy. The Papaya Salad itself would have been an entree for most people. But, I had to try the Mango Curry (#65 on the Chef's Specials Menu) because I don't believe I've ever previously seen it on a Thai restaurant menu. The dish was excellent! The interior has a very calm, zen-like vibe, simple, cute, and relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the meal. They kept refilling my water so often that I probably drank my entire daily water intake during dinner... not complaining though! Honestly, one of the best service experiences I've had in a while. We started with the shrimp tom yum soup and papaya salad. Both were fresh, flavorful, and a great way to kick off the meal. With a recommendation from the owner, we ordered the shrimp pad thai and pork basil for our main dishes. Great choice, both dishes were delicious and full of flavor. One small detail I really appreciated was the dinnerware. The plates and dishes were beautiful and clearly not the cheap kind you sometimes see. It added a nice touch to the whole dining experience.
