Thai & Go is a locally owned Thai restaurant in a little strip mall east of Greyhound Pass. We stopped for lunch today and we were pleasantly surprised. The dining room is nice with Thai decor. There is also a outdoor patio outside to eat. Light jazz music plays. Tables are spaced apart and comfortable. They offer lunch specials for $10.99 that include soup, salad, spring roll and entree. The options are traditional Thai favorites. Our 5 star server, Nan, was super attentive and friendly. She kept water glasses full. The soup, salad and small spring roll were very good. I had the Pad Eggplant with vegetables. The vegetables were a good mix of green beans, broccoli, carrots and more and were fresh. The sauce was light, fresh and flavorful. The entree was served with a generous portion of white rice. My husband had the Pad Thai, which he loved. The dish was perfectly spiced with the peanuts on the side. Portions were generous. They do a robust carry out. They have a full bar. I found the food uniquely light and fresh. I would return and recommend. read more

Stopped in here for a quick lunch alone inbetween running errands, OMG so delicious! I will definitely be back! Some of the best crab rangoon I've ever had! I had chicken and shrimp with my pad Thai and it was also delicious and good portion. I was the only one dining in, so service was quick and server was so kind. Such a cute spot, can't wait to come back and try more! read more

Their food is good but not true Thai. When in Thailand I never ate or even saw a bell pepper or carrot. I wish Thai restaurants in this city would serve some real Thai dishes and not what the think Americans want to eat. read more

We first discovered Thai at Sawasdee's first location near 86th & Ditch Road. A magnificent floral scent greeted us whenever we walked in the door. This new location lacks the floral scent, but is nearly as good. I recommend the Drunken Noodles. The owner is still involved, still fundamental. read more

If DoorDash had elite status like Yelp, I'd be elite ambassador #1, lol. And if you look at my order history you'll see Pad Thai and Thai Fried Rice with chicken, seafood, etc. from this place as my most popular order. We have tried the restaurant in person but with canned drinks and basic ambience, it's okay to skip. But the food should not be missed. Seriously delicious and reasonably priced. read more

Terrific find for someone like me who loves green curry! We stopped in on a Thursday night and decided to eat in. The service was excellent as was the food. It was very cold inside but that's just the way the building is - everytime the door opened there was a burst of cold air. It seemed like most people were doing carryout so that might be smart on a cold night. The green curry was delicious!!! Definitely one of the best I've had recently. The fried rice was also excellent- great flavor and fresh - not heavy or greasy at all! read more

Really good experience. They were completely dead on a Wednesday night and the service was extremely fast. Our server was great. They had a lot of take-out orders while we were dining in and I can understand why! The food was great. I got Drunken Noodles with spice level 1. Level 1 was honestly too spicy for me - sticking to no spice from now on haha. It was still delicious with the little bit of heat. We also ordered crab Rangoon that was great. They were perfectly fried and stuffed unlike some other places I've tried it! Will def come back again! read more

Solid Thai food that is well prepared. The restaurant is cozy with booths and tables and a convenient outdoor eating space. These is table service as well as the opportunity to order at a register at the back of the restaurant. There is a big carry out business, so no reason not to have Thai tonight. read more

5 stars for the best thai egg rolls. Don't get them mixed up with typical Chinese egg rolls these are not the same. Great dipping sauce! As far as their other foods, they have multiple levels of heat for the new-to-thai customer. Their food is good but Ive had better, but some days I just show up just for egg rolls. read more

Getting take out. Limited seating during Covid inside. Some outdoor seating also. I got my order to go, crab fried rice. It was amazing!!! Actual crab meat, not the imitation stuff. The potion was huge, so I only ate half of it. I'll admit it, it was so good, I ate the rest for breakfast the next morning!!. I will be going back. read more

Good Thai-to go spot, I called in a take out order and the food was ready as promised. We had some rice noodles with beef, pad thai and egg rolls. Seemed like it was slightly pricier than normal Thai take out, but not outrageously so. Food was good, I would go back and order again. read more

I was really impressed by the entire experience. The restaurant had only been open a few days and it was very busy. Even so, service was very good and I heard many positive comments and compliments to the server from other diners as I was waiting for my food. The dining room is very nicely arranged, and their were flowers in vases on the tables. Nice atmosphere and makes a good first impression. Service was very friendly and helpful. Nearly every table was full but no one seemed to be waiting. Good efficiency from the server. The menu is extensive. Lots of dishes I wanted try! The lunch menu has 14 different specials for $8.99, and this includes two side choices between egg rolls, soup, and salad. There are also several choices for kids including chicken nuggets, chicken tenders, fried rice, steamed carrots and broccoli, and chicken wings. The food was really excellent! We ordered the Pad Kee Mao with tofu, green curry with vegetables, and Pad Thai with chicken. Generous servings. The egg rolls were also very good. I am excited to return and start working my way through the menu. There are many of my favorites listed as well as some interesting entrees I would like to try. Thai & Go is a great addition to the area, and much more than I expected from this strip mall location. read more

I rarely eat at Asian restaurants since I'm perfectly capable of cooking it myself, but I've had many friends recommend this place. I looked online for delivery and it said over 40 minutes so I drove over since it's 5 minutes from my home. It wasn't very busy but there were tons of "to go" orders on the counter. I explained to the host that I had never been there, he was very pleasant, and brought me a menu. He told me they needed to adjust online that it would not take 40 minutes to deliver, that that was there from over the holidays. I was pretty happy about all the tofu options! I could not resist ordering the green curry w Tofu and egg rolls which are all vegetable. I requested 0 spice but he informed me it automatically comes w a Medium Spice, I think a 2? A little spicier than I wanted but the flavors are incredible! I also ordered the lemongrass soup, wishing it didn't have tomatoes in it, but that's a personal preference and I'm looking forward to bringing my family back to enjoy! read more

My go-to for Thai now that I live in Carmel. There are several places in Carmel now and I thought that this was overkill in the Thai space but it came out swinging and delivers good Thai food. The price is reasonable and it has more types of curries(sp?) than the other places. I specifically enjoy the Panang curry that you can't find in all places. They also have a great Thai Fried rice here and I would recommend you pay the extra buck or two to switch your steamed rice to fried rice. I get this for lunch often, and for lunch you get a spring roll and soup included. Unfortunately they do not directly deliver, but they do have GrubHub availability. read more

THAI & GO - Pad Thai Dinner? Looks more like a lunch special - Thai Near Me - Carmel, Indiana

I cannot believe we have such a delicious Thai place right here in Carmel! Last night, I went with some friends and we split two dishes - one pad Thai and one pineapple fried rice (they were not an adventurous bunch!). Both dishes were delicious - the depth of flavor in the pineapple fried rice made me want to keep going back for more! Side note - as our group had different spice level preferences, our server was able to bring out a spice tray where we could doctor up our dishes appropriately! Also, I should mention our server was wonderful!! He was super attentive and made sure to check on us multiple times - even splitting the bill at the end four ways! read more

Can't wait to come back here! Dined in and had good service and enjoyed our food greatly. I ordered the veggie lovers with chicken - Thai hot spicy level and this was HOTT and spicy!! I know, what was I expecting right? I usually order the hottest level of spice at Thai restaurants and most of the time I could use some more spice, but not here! They nailed the spice level for me which I really appreciated and had a great meal with all of the fresh veggies. The hubby had the fried rice with beef- hot level and his meal was also HOTTT. We also really enjoyed the dumpling which were handmade and served with a slightly sweet dipping sauce. The phone was ringing off the hook while we were dining in and they seem to do a decent amount of take out. Can't wait for my next cheat meal to com read more

Ordered over the phone and the food was ready in 10 minutes. The guy who handed us our food was very personable and efficient. We ordered two types of curry. I think this meal would have hit different if we had eaten there because the melding of rice and curry is the best part about curry dishes. We got them both at a level 2 spicyness, which is a very comfortable level (next time I'll go up). I felt like the yellow curry had less chicken and vegetables than the mango curry, which is odd because it is more expensive than the mango curry. You can see what I mean in the photo. Overall, the flavor was good and the service was good. I would return again read more

On the corner of a strip mall it's hard to think this little joint has much to offer but OH MY it is a place I crave!!!! Their Gluten free glass noodles is what I go for. I add chicken and extra veggies. It isn't cheap but I easily get two meals out of one dish because their serving size is huge!! When you walk in, it's beautifully decorated and quiet welcoming. I am sure you won't be disappointed here. read more

Website is touch and go tonight. Three tries before I got the order complete. I hope! The food here is good, but they often dot seem to care about the heat levels. Mild is too hot, and extra hot is mild..... When they get it all right, it is the best local Thai. read more

We love, love, love Thai and Go. It's not a place we go to often, but when we do, we thoroughly enjoy it. The service is always fantastic.

For a restaurant still in its infancy Thai and Go provided an excellent overall dining experience. They have an expansive menu but we decided to stick with more traditional dishes and ordered the crab rangoon, chicken pad thai, and chicken pad-si ew to share between the three of us. All of the food was delivered to our table within 10 minutes and was delicious! Our daughter was a little hesitant to not order the chicken tenders and fries (one of the kids meals options) but she was very happy with everything she ate and asked to come back soon. There were a few minor hiccups such as napkins and silverware not being on the table and a slight delay in picking up our credit card/bill at end of the meal, nothing that can't be easily fixed with experience and possibly an additional server or two. We plan to return soon to try some more dishes! read more

Solid place in Carmel. Have been twice. Last time I got the Thom yum soup, it wasn't as "intense" in flavor as I like. I could tell by the color. The seafood panang was great. Nice little Thai restaurant that popped up in Westfield a few months ago. The staff is all Thai (at least the ones I have met), so they know what they are doing in the kitchen! The staff is very friendly and will do their best to answer your questions. The food is good, and cooked fresh when ordered. Service is usually pretty fast, but give them some time if you have large orders since they are cooking each one individually. The food has great flavor, and can be ordered as hot as you want it to be or with no spice at all. I've been to Thailand 8 times, so I feel like I have a pretty good grasp on how their food should taste. (My pet peeve is when people compare Thai food to Chinese food, or complain that one restaurant doesn't taste like another- especially if they have never been to the country the food is from in the first place!) I give this restaurant 5 stars for taste and service! read more

One of our most favorite Thai food places. I've lived in many different cities from west coast to east coast and in between and this is probably some of the best. We get the usuals that most everyone I think likes to get: the egg roles, Tom yum soup, pad Thai, all the different fried rices and green curry, and all of them are delicious. We actually just had family in from out of town who had this last time they were here and they asked specifically to have Thai food from here again. Thank you Thai and go for your always delicious food and for being a standard in our take-out rotation! read more

After a week of cold, snowy weather, we were craving warm, spicy food and this place delivered. When we arrived it was not very busy, our server was very friendly and made us feel really welcomed, we started with some veggie egg rolls (no picture because we inhaled them). I ordered the cashew chicken with a spicy rating of one out five, the hubby got the curry chicken and shrimp with fried rice and went for a three. Everything was really good, fresh veggies, delicious sauces, and the spice was just right! Can't wait to go back try other dishes! We loved this place, food was top notch, service was exceptional, and by the time we left, it was packed, which is always a good sign. read more
