Thai & Go is a locally owned Thai restaurant in a little strip mall east of Greyhound Pass. We stopped for lunch today and we were pleasantly surprised. The dining room is nice with Thai decor. There is also a outdoor patio outside to eat. Light jazz music plays. Tables are spaced apart and comfortable. They offer lunch specials for $10.99 that include soup, salad, spring roll and entree. The options are traditional Thai favorites. Our 5 star server, Nan, was super attentive and friendly. She kept water glasses full. The soup, salad and small spring roll were very good. I had the Pad Eggplant with vegetables. The vegetables were a good mix of green beans, broccoli, carrots and more and were fresh. The sauce was light, fresh and flavorful. The entree was served with a generous portion of white rice. My husband had the Pad Thai, which he loved. The dish was perfectly spiced with the peanuts on the side. Portions were generous. They do a robust carry out. They have a full bar. I found the food uniquely light and fresh. I would return and recommend.

Stopped in here for a quick lunch alone inbetween running errands, OMG so delicious! I will definitely be back! Some of the best crab rangoon I've ever had! I had chicken and shrimp with my pad Thai and it was also delicious and good portion. I was the only one dining in, so service was quick and server was so kind. Such a cute spot, can't wait to come back and try more!

Terrific find for someone like me who loves green curry! We stopped in on a Thursday night and decided to eat in. The service was excellent as was the food. It was very cold inside but that's just the way the building is - everytime the door opened there was a burst of cold air. It seemed like most people were doing carryout so that might be smart on a cold night. The green curry was delicious!!! Definitely one of the best I've had recently. The fried rice was also excellent- great flavor and fresh - not heavy or greasy at all!

Delicious food and great service! Would recommend the panang curry and pad thai! Crab Rangoons were yummy too

Really good experience. They were completely dead on a Wednesday night and the service was extremely fast. Our server was great. They had a lot of take-out orders while we were dining in and I can understand why! The food was great. I got Drunken Noodles with spice level 1. Level 1 was honestly too spicy for me - sticking to no spice from now on haha. It was still delicious with the little bit of heat. We also ordered crab Rangoon that was great. They were perfectly fried and stuffed unlike some other places I've tried it! Will def come back again!

Getting take out. Limited seating during Covid inside. Some outdoor seating also. I got my order to go, crab fried rice. It was amazing!!! Actual crab meat, not the imitation stuff. The potion was huge, so I only ate half of it. I'll admit it, it was so good, I ate the rest for breakfast the next morning!!. I will be going back.

I was really impressed by the entire experience. The restaurant had only been open a few days and it was very busy. Even so, service was very good and I heard many positive comments and compliments to the server from other diners as I was waiting for my food. The dining room is very nicely arranged, and their were flowers in vases on the tables. Nice atmosphere and makes a good first impression. Service was very friendly and helpful. Nearly every table was full but no one seemed to be waiting. Good efficiency from the server. The menu is extensive. Lots of dishes I wanted try! The lunch menu has 14 different specials for $8.99, and this includes two side choices between egg rolls, soup, and salad. There are also several choices for kids including chicken nuggets, chicken tenders, fried rice, steamed carrots and broccoli, and chicken wings. The food was really excellent! We ordered the Pad Kee Mao with tofu, green curry with vegetables, and Pad Thai with chicken. Generous servings. The egg rolls were also very good. I am excited to return and start working my way through the menu. There are many of my favorites listed as well as some interesting entrees I would like to try. Thai & Go is a great addition to the area, and much more than I expected from this strip mall location.

I rarely eat at Asian restaurants since I'm perfectly capable of cooking it myself, but I've had many friends recommend this place. I looked online for delivery and it said over 40 minutes so I drove over since it's 5 minutes from my home. It wasn't very busy but there were tons of "to go" orders on the counter. I explained to the host that I had never been there, he was very pleasant, and brought me a menu. He told me they needed to adjust online that it would not take 40 minutes to deliver, that that was there from over the holidays. I was pretty happy about all the tofu options! I could not resist ordering the green curry w Tofu and egg rolls which are all vegetable. I requested 0 spice but he informed me it automatically comes w a Medium Spice, I think a 2? A little spicier than I wanted but the flavors are incredible! I also ordered the lemongrass soup, wishing it didn't have tomatoes in it, but that's a personal preference and I'm looking forward to bringing my family back to enjoy!

Pad Thai Dinner? Looks more like a lunch special

$15.25 for this quantity amount of pad thai? Better off getting a Kings Garden combination plate. Either they gave me the lunch special by mistake or inflation must be effecting the business. Regular entrees used to have more of a quantity

The spring roll is crispy with a cabbage filling and a dipping sauce. The salad was just ok (maybe bagged). I had the Pad Kee Mao with shrimp. There is a small up charge for shrimp, but the shrimp were plump and flavorful. Their handmade sauce is light and delightful, not too sweet. I had the medium heat, which was the perfect amount of spice for me. All the vegetables were super fresh (not frozen) and there were a lot of veggies. I loved my entree and would highly recommend. My husband had the Chicken Pad Thai, which is his go-to entree. He devoured his Pad Thai and said it was good. Our server, Matt was friendly and attentive. Food came out quickly, water filled and plates cleared. Different people handle the food and money, which is how it should be. The dining room is upscale with a subtle Thai ambiance. The small bar is inviting and the booth seating is comfortable. Soft rock plays overhead. This is a perfect spot for date night. The dining room is immaculate (just as I like). The restrooms are spotless. There is free parking in front, but it can get tight during peak hours.

The interior has a very calm, zen-like vibe, simple, cute, and relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the meal. They kept refilling my water so often that I probably drank my entire daily water intake during dinner... not complaining though! Honestly, one of the best service experiences I've had in a while. We started with the shrimp tom yum soup and papaya salad. Both were fresh, flavorful, and a great way to kick off the meal. With a recommendation from the owner, we ordered the shrimp pad thai and pork basil for our main dishes. Great choice, both dishes were delicious and full of flavor. One small detail I really appreciated was the dinnerware. The plates and dishes were beautiful and clearly not the cheap kind you sometimes see. It added a nice touch to the whole dining experience. Great food, excellent service, and as a bonus, the bathroom was clean (which always scores extra points in my book). Free parking is also available. Definitely a spot I'll come back to the next time a Thai food craving hits.

But for however long we had to wait for everything (menus, drinks, to order, our food, the checks), the food made up for it! When I visit a new-to-me Thai restaurant, I usually get the pad Thai or convince someone I'm dining with to get the pad Thai so I can try it. Pad Thai is my litmus test! The pad Thai here at Chiang Mai Thai Noodle was excellent. Perhaps some of the best pad Thai I've eaten in Indy. It wasn't too sweet, which was nice. Sometimes, pad Thai can get a little cloying, but this one was perfectly balanced. I got it with shrimp, which were great and perfectly cooked. Like I mentioned, I visited with a big group. We all got something different, and I also got to try the Crispy Spring Roll. They ain't kidding -- this is one crispy spring roll. The outside shatters with every bite. I think when I come back, I'm definitely getting my own order of these. Other people at my table got things like curry, tom kha soup and crispy basil duck, and every person loved their dishes. The portion sizes are also huge! I feel like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, here. One thing to note: Their spice level goes from 1 to 6, with 6 being the hottest.
