Oyster sauce with chicken lunch and Thai iced tea
    Sana K.

Lunch special $13 comes with soup or salad and spring roll. Portion seemed slightly bigger than normal. Excellent food as always. They are pretty quick so if you pop in during lunch break you should be good. Once you get your food they kind of leave you be until you're finished. I wouldn't get anything higher than hot. Pretty spicy.

I've dined here several times as I love Thai food and Thai Nine is close to me. The dining room is upscale and romantic with little vases of fresh flowers on the tables. The food and service are consistently good. We stopped in for lunch yesterday. They offer lunch special for $12.99 that includes salad or soup, spring roll and entree. The restaurant is quiet with soft music playing overhead. We were seated quickly by the hostess, who was also our server. Jaya was friendly and attentive. She checked on us several times. I had the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) with medium spice. The starter salad had a tasty ginger dressing that I loved. The entree was artfully plated and nice and hot. The vegetables were fresh, crisp and tasty. I liked the mix of vegetables with fresh green beans, carrots, broccoli and more. The spice level was perfect for me. I ate half and took half home. My husband had his usual Pad Thai. The dish had tons of peanuts, which he loves. There is a full bar. We found easy parking in front of the strip mall. Great food and service keep us coming back.

Stopped in for lunch before our sales meeting. Natty was very nice and efficient! She was great! The food was served hot and fast! The flavors were wonderful! Thank you for a great lunch!

Nice surprise in a little strip center. Very nice inside and bigger than I thought. Staff were very attentive. A varied menu with items you know and some you may not. Plenty of options. I'd never seen pottery shrimp before so went with it. Shrimp are cooked in a clay pot with silver noodles, ginger and other veggies and spices. It's served bubbly hot. It was excellent! We also had the massaman curry. A large portion and very tasty as well. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

The food was delicious , friendly service and we got checked in on frequently. I got the Thai Spicy Basil / Pad Gra Prow with chicken (hot), crab rangoon and a Thai iced tea. The panaang curry was good too!

Real good Thai food with the best flavors! My dish was so good I planned on eating a little and ended up cleaning up the plate! Service was great, the server explained level of spices so well and I had an absolute great time with my friends. We were given enough privacy and no one kept asking us to leave which is great if the restaurant isn't busy. I enjoyed my time at Thai Nine

Roasted Duck Curry and Spicy Basil Friend Rice

Excellent experience at Thai Nine. Smaller interior with just a couple of waitresses covering all of the tables. We ordered the roasted duck curry and spicy basil fried rice both at medium heat. The curry was more "coconut milky" than other ones I have had before but was still spiced well and tasted excellent. The duck was tender and delicious. I would absolutely order this again. The Spicy basil fried rice was an absolute hit. I am not ordinarily a rice as a main dish person but my wife and I both agreed that it was one of the best fried rice dishes we had ever tried. Recently moved close to here so this will definitely become our go to Thai takeout spot going forward.

We have been driving by this place for awhile now and finally took the time to stop by and give it a try. Inside is very welcoming and cozy with some nice jazz playing in the background. We ordered the Papaya Salad, Eggplant Thailand (chicken), and Crispy Laad Nahr (beef). All three tasted great and I do believe we have a new Thai restaurant on our go-to list!

They are always welcome customers not caring about the time. The attendants are polite, fast to taking orders and can help with whatever we need. And the food is good.

Delicious, delicious Thai food! Flavors of the curry were a perfect balance of spice and creamy curry. The peanut sauce for the satay was sticky and crunchy-yummy! The cashew beef was rich and slightly sweet with crunchy veggies, tender beef and creamy cashews! Great find, thanks Yelpers!!! This is a must stop if you love Thai!!!!

It was very nicely decorated with good ambiance. The service was nice as well. The food wasn't spectacular though. It was okay! I got mussaman curry with white rice. My rice was slightly raw. The dumplings and crab Rangoon were good.

I've been looking an authentic Thai restaurant and let me just say this is it! I absolutely love Thai food and this satisfied my Thai craving! Every dish that we ordered was just delicious, the spice levels were perfect and you just can't stop eating. I live about 30 mins away from Thai Nine and it was definitely worth the drive! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Thai food the authenticity and taste made me want to order everything on the menu. I will be returning to try more of their delicious dishes. It does seem like a family owned restaurant to please be patient with them if you go at a busy time. They are working very hard to serve everyone in a timely manner. Must try!!

If I could give it six stars I would. Clean and amazing atmosphere. The food is exceptional and so is the staff. The price was modest considering the quality of the food. Thai tea is my go to and they do not disappoint. This place is in my top three now.

The spring roll is crispy with a cabbage filling and a dipping sauce. The salad was just ok (maybe bagged). I had the Pad Kee Mao with shrimp. There is a small up charge for shrimp, but the shrimp were plump and flavorful. Their handmade sauce is light and delightful, not too sweet. I had the medium heat, which was the perfect amount of spice for me. All the vegetables were super fresh (not frozen) and there were a lot of veggies. I loved my entree and would highly recommend. My husband had the Chicken Pad Thai, which is his go-to entree. He devoured his Pad Thai and said it was good. Our server, Matt was friendly and attentive. Food came out quickly, water filled and plates cleared. Different people handle the food and money, which is how it should be. The dining room is upscale with a subtle Thai ambiance. The small bar is inviting and the booth seating is comfortable. Soft rock plays overhead. This is a perfect spot for date night. The dining room is immaculate (just as I like). The restrooms are spotless. There is free parking in front, but it can get tight during peak hours.

The interior has a very calm, zen-like vibe, simple, cute, and relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the meal. They kept refilling my water so often that I probably drank my entire daily water intake during dinner... not complaining though! Honestly, one of the best service experiences I've had in a while. We started with the shrimp tom yum soup and papaya salad. Both were fresh, flavorful, and a great way to kick off the meal. With a recommendation from the owner, we ordered the shrimp pad thai and pork basil for our main dishes. Great choice, both dishes were delicious and full of flavor. One small detail I really appreciated was the dinnerware. The plates and dishes were beautiful and clearly not the cheap kind you sometimes see. It added a nice touch to the whole dining experience. Great food, excellent service, and as a bonus, the bathroom was clean (which always scores extra points in my book). Free parking is also available. Definitely a spot I'll come back to the next time a Thai food craving hits.

The restaurant is smaller but we never have any issues with getting seated. They do a big take out business but the kitchen is extremely efficient and food comes out very quickly. My favorite is the Pad See Ewe but I get it with pad Thai noodles instead of the wide noodles. Medium spice is perfect. Don't ask for mild unless you just don't like flavor or spice. It's just not tasty; very very bland. One tip for the restaurant is to invest in a water filter. The water tastes very metallic. You are gonna wanna ask for some lemon. But for however long we had to wait for everything (menus, drinks, to order, our food, the checks), the food made up for it! When I visit a new-to-me Thai restaurant, I usually get the pad Thai or convince someone I'm dining with to get the pad Thai so I can try it. Pad Thai is my litmus test! The pad Thai here at Chiang Mai Thai Noodle was excellent. Perhaps some of the best pad Thai I've eaten in Indy. It wasn't too sweet, which was nice. Sometimes, pad Thai can get a little cloying, but this one was perfectly balanced. I got it with shrimp, which were great and perfectly cooked. Like I mentioned, I visited with a big group. We all got something different, and I also got to try the Crispy Spring Roll. They ain't kidding -- this is one crispy spring roll. The outside shatters with every bite. I think when I come back, I'm definitely getting my own order of these. Other people at my table got things like curry, tom kha soup and crispy basil duck, and every person loved their dishes. The portion sizes are also huge! I feel like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, here. One thing to note: Their spice level goes from 1 to 6, with 6 being the hottest.
