First of all, this place has incredible prices for how good the food is. Of course, they don't serve giant portions, but great for dinner. I have been twice, and both times have been great service and tasty food. I highly recommend the Tiger Garlic and Pepper for a protein and veggie dish. I myself always stay on the least spicy side of the menu. You cannot go wrong here either with fried rice. Pad Thai anything is Amy favorite. A plus here (also a good heads up for visitors) is that the restaurant itself carries a more formal vibe. From the cutlery to the tables, the whole place has an international charm that makes dinner eventful. Definitely good whether you go with company or alone. My final warning- ginger tea is strongly flavored. Nothing that lowered my experience here, but do know that when you order tea. I can't wait to go back! Thai Nine for the win. read more

I've dined here several times as I love Thai food and Thai Nine is close to me. The dining room is upscale and romantic with little vases of fresh flowers on the tables. The food and service are consistently good. We stopped in for lunch yesterday. They offer lunch special for $12.99 that includes salad or soup, spring roll and entree. The restaurant is quiet with soft music playing overhead. We were seated quickly by the hostess, who was also our server. Jaya was friendly and attentive. She checked on us several times. I had the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) with medium spice. The starter salad had a tasty ginger dressing that I loved. The entree was artfully plated and nice and hot. The vegetables were fresh, crisp and tasty. I liked the mix of vegetables with fresh green beans, carrots, broccoli and more. The spice level was perfect for me. I ate half and took half home. My husband had his usual Pad Thai. The dish had tons of peanuts, which he loves. There is a full bar. We found easy parking in front of the strip mall. Nice surprise in a little strip center. Very nice inside and bigger than I thought. Staff were very attentive. A varied menu with items you know and some you may not. Plenty of options. I'd never seen pottery shrimp before so went with it. Shrimp are cooked in a clay pot with silver noodles, ginger and other veggies and spices. It's served bubbly hot. It was excellent! Excellent experience at Thai Nine. Smaller interior with just a couple of waitresses covering all of the tables. We ordered the roasted duck curry and spicy basil fried rice both at medium heat. The curry was more "coconut milky" than other ones I have had before but was still spiced well and tasted excellent. The duck was tender and delicious. I would absolutely order this again. The Spicy basil fried rice was an absolute hit. I am not ordinarily a rice as a main dish person but my wife and I both agreed that it was one of the best fried rice dishes we had ever tried. I've been looking an authentic Thai restaurant and let me just say this is it! I absolutely love Thai food and this satisfied my Thai craving! Every dish that we ordered was just delicious, the spice levels were perfect and you just can't stop eating. I live about 30 mins away from Thai Nine and it was definitely worth the drive! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Thai food the authenticity and taste made me want to order everything on the menu. I will be returning to try more of their delicious dishes. This place is beautiful inside! I loved how warm and welcoming it was! Everyone was so friendly! They seated us in a booth and we perused the menus. They do only serve wine and beer. We started with the spring rolls and crab Rangoon. They both came with the same dipping sauce. I thought the spring rolls were good, nice and crispy. The crab Rangoon was lacking on the crab and heavy on the cream cheese. I ordered the cashew chicken and because I'm a wimp, I ordered it mild and was disappointed in the lack of flavor. I just wanted to put in a quick update to give another shout out regarding how nice it is to dine in here. The food is excellent and works well for takeout, but they add so many nice touches to the dine in experience that I'd suggest carving out the time for that if you can. The dumplings come in a steamer basket, food is served on nice dishes and the gold toned flatware with cloth napkins make for a high quality experience. And....tea comes in a ceramic teapot with a matching cup and saucer! The decorative touches like the carrot butterflies are lovely. On this visit we shared the Thai dumplings which are delicious. I had the mango curry for my entree which was so good! The fresh mango went really well with a medium spice level and the chicken and shrimp were cooked perfectly. They seem to be pretty good with consistency on spice level- medium actually has some heat, and is perfect for me as the spice is there, but it doesn't overpower. Service is always excellent for both dine in and takeout. They do fill up even on weeknights so a reservation might not be a bad idea if you have a bigger group. read more

Frequent visitor! It's in a strip mall off of Michigan road so it's small but has constant business and for good reason. One of those places that remain consistent.
