Thai Papaya Salad

Every time we come here, we say, "we should come here more." The hospitality alone is worth the price of admission.

Drunken Noodles

I had two dishes - Drunken Noodles with chicken (that I have eaten many other places) and chicken wings. Both were pretty much inedible. I took a couple of bites of the drunken noodles and threw it away. The flavor was awful and it was dry - no moisture and noodles were curled in dry. The fried chicken wings crust was good, but the actual chicken was not good at all and I kind of ate just a little bit of it. After paying a delivery service, it was a complete waste of about $45. Awful food. I do not recommend at all.

I lived in Thailand for a couple of years, and tasting these sweets instantly brought me back to those beautiful memories. The flavors were authentic, delicate, and crafted with so much care--it truly felt like being back in Thailand. On top of that, the owner was so warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even more special. You can tell that there's heart behind everything they serve. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends who want a genuine taste of Thailand.

Our household frequents this place for Thai takeout. They have a great setup for pickup. When you walk in you'll notice all the interesting desserts in the display case which I love! I am basic and love pad thai, and it is always amazing here! I ventured out and tried the pineapple fried rice and was a bit disappointed as it had maybe 3 pieces of pineapple. They have tons of boba options, and I ordered a classic brown sugar milk tea. I enjoyed it, however I thought the texture of the boba was a bit odd.

This family-run Thai restaurant deserves its 5 star rating. The recipes are family recipes of this husband/wife team. The restaurants sits behind a strip mall. Most of the business is carry-out, but they have a few tables inside and outside for in house dining. The owner is welcoming and eager to share his culinary journey and their menu. His wife is the chef and she also bakes mochi, macaroons and other desserts. The menu offers a mix of Thai dishes including curries, noodle and rice dishes. They also have assorted boba teas on their menu. The owner waited on us, providing a lot of personal service that you just see very often. We felt like family. He carefully explained the heat level of the spices, which they will customize to your needs. Lunch came with a freshly prepared spring roll, which was crunchy and delicious with interesting fillings including edamame. I had the Pad Ki Mao with chicken. The portion was generous with fresh vegetables and sweet flavorful sauce. My husband had the Pad Thai with chicken which was colorful with spiral carrots and cabbage. The noodles were spicy and delicious. Lunch was topped off with two small cookies, but I supplemented with a pack of their freshly made Ube Mochi, which were absolutely delicious. You're not going to find the combination of personal service, interesting conversation or great food anywhere else. I highly recommend and will be stopping by regularly.

This review is based on 5 or 6 visits over the last two years. The food menu is typical of most U.S. based Thai restaurants that I have been to. It is well cooked and the portion sizes are moderate (not overly large or small). The spice (or heat) is a little higher than other places I have been to so order accordingly. The service is excellent!! You will be greeted by the owner and he will describe the menu which is illustrated on a large screen on the wall; his wife does the cooking. The owner is the most gracious host of any restaurant that I have been to, very highly recommended based on his attitude and attentiveness. The seating are is small, with a small dining room that seats about six people and individual window side seating in the ordering area. It is very clean, but be aware that as of my last visit, there is not a public restroom. Overall, very highly recommended.

Ginger Lovers with chicken, mild. Delicious and filling.

So I was meeting a friend after work for dinner, and googled Thai near me. Siam Star came up and glad it did. It is mainly a carry out place (very small interior) but the owner pulled together a table for us. There are two tables available I think. I had the Ginger Lovers with chicken, mild, and it was great. Really fresh vegetables and a delicious flavor with herbs and spices that was still mild. I also had a peach refresher drink which was indeed refreshing! Cold water was served too. All was great and delicious. Highly recommend.

This is a hidden gem! The food is out of this world and such a great atmosphere if you are looking for something more personal and a little out of the ordinary! Fresh take on a family restaurant!

Good authentic Thai food at a fair price and the owner is very friendly. I will definitely recommend this place.

Ordered Siam Start to go & I was slight hesitant of how Thai food take out would be. But I was surprisingly impressed. The flavor of the Panang curry was delicious and basil fried rice is always a classic. I tried curry fried rice for the first time I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend trying if you haven't. I've extremely excited to try this restaurant in person because if To-go was excellent I can only imagine how delicious it will be for a dine-in experience! The service was very fast - I order directly through the website and it said delivery time would be about 45 minutes but I received my order within about 20-25 minutes and all the food was still warm. If you live in the area and need a place to order Thai take out or somewhere to dine - in I highly recommend this restaurant!!

It was just thrown in, it wasn't cooked with the pad Thai sauce. So sad! I won't be getting the shrimp at all. Waste of money. =( And then the cashier asked if I had rewards, when I said no, he scanned his own reward card. I'm like WTH!!! To myself, he can't do that. The pad Thai itself was delicious. I totally enjoyed it that I ate all of it which is rare for me. I usually don't finish my meal so I must have been super hungry or there wasn't much there in the bowl. I also felt like I had to order it for "the people," meaning you all who are reading this review and looking for good pad Thai. I am always searching for the best pad Thai, and I'm sure others are too, so it felt like a public service. They have some very good pad Thai here at Thai Season. I forgot to order it with steamed rice, like I usually do with pad Thai (carbs on carbs). But even without rice, it was delicious and well-balanced. This pad Thai was not too sweet, which was a blessing. There's nothing worse than a too-sweet pad Thai! (Not really, but you know what I mean.) I ordered it mild, and it was indeed mild. We also got the laad nah, which is broad, flat noodles cooked with cabbage, broccoli, carrots and mushrooms in a brown gravy. It was super tasty, almost like a stew with noodles. It was ordered medium spicy, and I thought it was indeed medium spicy! The spice levels here seem to be right on. The Thai iced tea is great -- sweet and creamy. If you've never had a Thai iced tea, you should definitely try one. The decor and service is top-notch. But the vibe was nice and calming, the menu was extensive (ramen and boba options for days), and I landed on the spicy miso ramen--exactly what I needed to warm me up. Nailed it. The broth was rich, savory, and comforting with just the right amount of heat. Every ingredient tasted vibrant and fresh.
