Green Curry, Tom Yum Soup, Spring Roll (6pc)

When restaurants have been open for decades, trust them. Thai Papaya has been around long before the other 15 Thai restaurants surrounding Zionsville, and it remains excellent! My husband loves Pineapple Fried Rice *only* from Thai Papaya. Add shrimp or veggies to a dish? You'll have no question where your $2-3 went, it's packed full. I'm so grateful they're available on DoorDash so we can enjoy even when we aren't in the immediate area. Each meal includes a soup, salad, or spring roll- they are each delicious!! Ambiance is lovely.

We were craving Thai food for lunch and ordered through GrubHub. I got the cashew chicken and appreciated that their top dishes were labeled as recommended and that I was able to directly choose spice levels. It came as a lunch special, and I loved the soup and spring roll that came with it. My husband went for pad Thai and loved that too. The rice could use a bit more moisture, but we look forward to coming in person soon to try it fresh, as that's always the best way to enjoy a new dish.

Vibes: Seem to be primarily a DoorDash or delivery place but the service was very fast. It is good for dine in too. I got the pad see ew. It came out fast and hot. The noodles were great with mild spicy flavor. Thai Basil is used and that was one of the highlights because it really adds Thai flavor to the entire dish. Side of Tom yum soup. The veggies are very well stir fried. There is Carrot, bell pepper, crispy crunchy lettuce, and broccoli and they all have a slight stir fry char and aren't undercooked either. The same goes for the egg. Execution was very good because it is not swimming in weird sauce it's properly stir fried and seasoned. Portion size was just right and I had a little to take home for leftovers. $13 made this very very affordable.

Unassuming restaurant in the middle of a shopping center? They also have an amazing lunch special with prices you can't get with quick food options? Fresh and delicious? Sign me up! Boss and I decided to get lunch at the first place that caught our eye and so glad it was Thai Papaya! It is a very simple restaurant with just a few tables but what it may 'lack' in vibe it more than 'makes up for' in food and service. For lunch you get an entree and spring roll for about $10. $10?! You can't get much of anything for $10 anymore (fully leaning in with this). I got the Tom Yum soup with medium hot spice. Oh baby that broth was made with love and layers. And you know how Thai spice can vary. Well I can handle my spice but Lordy my nose was runnnnning. Spring roll was hot and crispy as it ought to be. The server was sooo sweet and took such great care of us! I'll be returning for more spicy tears.

I stopped in on the way to Gator Motorsports which is just down the road. I came in and was able to order my meal and be eating in less than 10 minutes. The food was very good and I will have to say it was worth stopping in. If I am in the area again, and I do get over here on occasion. I would be happy to stop in for a meal. The staff took very good care of me as well.

Chicken Pad Thai with Crab Rangoon and Tom Yum Soup

I found Thai Papaya on Yelp, it is located near my office. I ordered food Togo on the phone and it was very easy. The food was prepared quickly and the order was accurate. I ordered the lunch portion of chicken pad Thai, which came with a cup of Tom Yum soup, my FAVORITE! I love the flavor of Tom yum soup, it is delicious! I also ordered an appetizer, crab Rangoon. The food was portioned well and it was delicious! I will definitely be back!

We have been coming here for a few years. Love the pineapple fried rice. Overall, seems to be one of the best regarding flavor when compared to many others that are just the same ole same ole. The place is clean and well worth the try. It's good enough we drive 35 minutes to get here, bypassing many others.

Our absolute favorite Thai place! We have been coming here almost weekly! My favorite is the Kao Soy.

My delicious authentic tasting crab rangoons with sweet n sour sauce.

Usually don't go to Thai often but this place wasn't bad, my friends all loved their Thai curry entrees and pad Thai. I got crab rangoons and an order of their fried rice which has egg in it. It was well seasoned and tasted great! The crab rangoons tasted more authentic and had more crab as well. I would go again , the server was friendly, the service was pretty efficient the food was all delicious and of good quality a little better than most Asian take out style. We actually ate inside, wasn't anything special but was clean and tidy.

Yum...Padd Ka Na bottom; Padd Kee Mow top!

This, our second outing at Thai Papaya, and we again are in a small cozy spartan dinning room with great big Thai flavor. As good as, if not better than, the Funkster standard...Thai Lanna. This chilly pre-Thanksgiving Friday evening saw an app of steamed marinated ground pork dumplings (4 @ $5.99). Entree plates ($11.99 ea.) of Padd Kee Mow-stir fried wide noodle with banana peppers, white onions, napa, broccoli, carrots, garlic and Thai basil; and Padd Ka Na-stir fried mixed veggies (the complete veggie bin) in a homemade brown sauce. Each entree had choice of meat plus soup, fried spring roll or thai salad. The service was easy and relaxed, just the way we Funksters like it. Meal time is always the best time of the day and for the Delectable Mrs. Funk and I, Thai Papaya just may have raised the Thai-alicious bar! Stop in and you too, may be... Fit to be Thai-ed!

Tucked behind the plaza behind the McDonald's off Michigan Rd., this place was yummy! Came here on a Wed. night for dinner and it was pretty empty. It was great because we had fast service and no wait! The atmosphere was very casual and calm with music playing in the background. Our waitress was very nice and prompt. Their crab rangoon was filled with the goods and had crispy edges...highly recommend. The chicken pad thai was HUGE and so delicious. I would come back!

Pad Kee Mow - lunch comes with choice of spring roll, soup, or salad.

The Pad Thai was a huge serving. The mild-medium spice was just right for me. The dining room is small and quiet.

I decided to try Baan Thai Bistro after reading a few reviews, and it turned out to be a great decision. I called in an order for carry out. When I saw the quaint interior I wished that I had time to dine in. The building is beautiful, inside and out. The unique decor was practically beckoning me to sit down and enjoy a relaxing meal. I ordered spring rolls and drunken noodles with tofu. The spring rolls were light and crispy. I would recommend ordering a few. Or more than a few. My drunken noodles were excellent. I ordered mild-to medium spice, and the spice level was perfect. The serving size was generous. Will have leftovers for dinner, yay! Service was very pleasant. Ordering was efficient. I called in my order and received a text when my order was ready. I'll definitely return, and would enjoy dining in next time. Thanks to Yelpers for the great reviews that brought me here.

They have a great lunch special that's reasonably priced, and my mom is more on the picky side, if she likes something she sticks with it. The ambiance here is relaxed, it's a small house turned into a restaurant. Service was good at this visit. My mom ordered her usual pork belly ramen with no spice (she is spice naive) and I tried something new here...drunken noodles with steak at level 3 heat (it goes 1-5 with 5 being the hottest). The lunch special comes with soup and a spring roll. This time I made sure to check my soup, and thankfully it was all clear and tasted good. The soup is too spicy for my mom so she doesn't eat it. The spring roll with dipping sauce was appetizing. Our food came quickly after, and everything came out fresh. My mom didn't have any issues with her ramen. For a lunch special, the drunken noodles is a decent portion. The temperature was hot and the spice level was pretty spicy, but I liked it. The steak option went really well with the drunken noodles too, very flavorful. I wasn't able to finish it, asked for a to go container, and our server supplied. We both enjoyed hanging out and got very full.

I recently tried their chicken and beef pad Thai, and again amazing! They have a really good coconut chicken soup as well if you're not a seafood lover, that I would recommend. And everything is so reasonably priced. If you're going for the first time, maybe go during their lunch hours, for you to try some items at a smaller portion and a slightly smaller price.
