Got this to go while in town. I walked from my hotel. It was not super busy at the time. I was in and out. I just got chicken fried rice and Thai tea. It was good and flavorful. I normally get other items but wanted keep it simple. I will be back when in town. It was recommended by several people here. read more

It's a small spot with good food and great energy! The staff was super engaging and the service was quick, even with most of the tables full. My only critique is compared to what I'm used to, I did find the meat portion a little underwhelming. And as for the fried bananas, they were a unique touch! Not necessarily my favorite, but I didn't hate them either. Just something adventurous. read more

Small spot downtown. Inside is coz and a little cramped but not claustrophobic. Service was quick and the food was delicious and hoy though I will say I ordered beef pad thai and my food was 95% noodles. I didn't expect the dish to be mostly meat but the beef in the noodles was not a portion or half of one. read more

I am not impressed with the food. Also, they made you stand and wait at the cashier to order and make it looks like a pickout, fast food instead of a dine in place. The cashier counter is too crowded and we cannot make decision what to eat as a big group since we cannot stand in front of the cashier counter. read more

Hadn't been here in a while and I must say that unfortunately the atmosphere has suffered massively. Don't get me wrong, the food is still absolutely delicious, which is why I am still giving it 4 stars. First you need to find yourself a menu. Then you have to go up to the counter and order and pay and tip in advance, which I hate. I base my tips on your service and at this point you really haven't done anything for me. Do I tip big and hope you live up to it? Or do I tip average and you base the service on my tip? But anyway, after you order and pay, you have the pleasure of getting your silverware and if you need any sauce or such from a little cart near the counter. Then however, you are served your food at the table and you have table service from then on. Go figure. Even received refills on water without asking. So come here for the food, it is great. Forget the rest. read more

This is the cutest place. The restaurant is on the smaller side. You walk through the restaurant to order at the back and they give you a small pail with an order number and your utensils. Your order is brought out to your table. It was pretty full when we got there. We took a table in the window surrounded by plants. It felt like we had a private booth. The food came out quickly. My pad kee mao was delicious with the perfect balance of noodles, meat, and vegetables, and everyone else liked their dishes too. I'd return. read more

It's been several years since I've been here, but the food is still good. They have good lunch specials and the food comes out fast. The main difference from the last time I was here is that there is no table service. You order and pay from the counter upfront now and they give you your drink and a little plastic basket that holds your silverware and also serves as your number. You seat yourself and they bring your food out to your table. read more

The food here was fantastic. We had the chicken pad Thai and chicken fried rice. Both were excellent. The pad Thai had a sweet and spicy taste. There seems to be not much but chain restaurants in this area so I would recommend giving this place a try instead read more

Food was good. But the quantity was way too low. The prices are on the higher side, but that is to be expected in a city. The drunken noodles were good, but also way too little. The lady taking orders on the phone was way too hard to understand, very very thick Indian accent. read more

I came to Thai Paradise while out in Indy on a business trip and was excited to see that this restaurant was a quick walk from my hotel. The inside was cutely decorated with several patrons inside dining and others coming in to grab pick-up orders. When dining in, you order at the counter and the food is then brought out to your table. The menu was expansive and I had a hard time choosing as there were so many enticing dishes (plus it smelled great inside). I decided on a Thai tea and the green curry with chicken. The curry dish came with a side of rice. My food came out pretty quickly and the food was very tasty! The Thai tea was also good and what you would typically expect. If I ever find myself back in the Indianapolis area, I would definitely come back to support Thai Paradise. read more

They gave me Thai leftovers preserved in salt and old rice from the day before but good curry for friend and Thai tea but dont go there at 12 noon on a Sat or you may get leftovers from the fridge and a few pieces of soggy soft broccoli and salty processed beef slices in a brown sauce. Definitely overpriced for a lunch. Over $50 for 2 meals and 2 drinks. No thanks but kind petite Thai worker. read more

This is a cool spot for some great casual Thai food. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you, but don't be mistaken - the food here is really great. Everyone who works here was super friendly and helpful and came by my table to check on me and give me a refill, which I much needed since the food can get pretty spicy. I ordered the red curry with a medium spice levels and it was exactly what I was hoping for. Super flavorful and the spice poking me in all the right ways. Will definitely come back to try some other dishes! read more

Came to Thai paradise on a girls night and really liked it! -great location: right off the monument circle. Easy walking distance to other fun spots around downtown. -alcohol is served at Pad Thai. I ordered a margarita and my friend had a Rose. -portion sizes are huge and a great price. I paid $14 for my pad Thai, $7 for the rangoons, and $5 for the margarita. -I'm would have liked more sauce on my noodles but taste and spice levels were good! It's a small restaurant but the staff is great at checking in on you. I will definitely come back! read more

Want great Thai food with good portions and friendly staff? Thai Paradise is the perfect place to be. I have dined in and done take out every time I visit Indianapolis. Each time I have ordered, it has been excellent. I usually get the drunken noodles and they never disappoint. You can ask for no spice, medium, hot or even Thai hot which is their highest level of spicy. This restaurant is not fancy or big but tends to be pretty popular and can get pretty crowded. Nonetheless you won't be disappointed in their portion size for the price and quality of food. If you sign up for their online rewards you get a $5 reward and can earn 5% on $20 min purchases. Perfect if you make orders for a small group. read more

Ok I was lowkey considering giving this place 4 stars just for being a source of edible food in the Midwest, but decided not to lower my standards LOL. Place was pretty small, and you order at the counter and they will bring your food to you. I went with the pad see ew. Flavor was decent, but as you can see in the photo, the noodles were rather clumped together, and there were some large, undercooked pieces of vegetable. read more

I don't leave reviews often, but I was so disappointed by this meal. I ordered the Thai eggplant, and there were no solid pieces of eggplant in the dish. The eggplant center was cut out entirely, leaving me with just the skin. Clearly they were trying to use eggplant that had gone bad and cutting away the bad part. I chose this meal specifically for the eggplant and it was mainly carrots. 0/10 will not order from this restaurant again read more

Came here prior to seeing the Indianapolis symphony. The inside isn't the nicest and of my friend hadn't expressed how great this place was I may have been leery to stay. But you order at the counter, they'll grab your drinks and you can have a seat. You can stay in and eat or take out. I got the green curry....and Omgosh...IT WAS AMAZING! Good portion size and the taste was out of this world. Staff was super friendly and quick! I cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend for a pre show dinner or lunch while you're downtown. I will be going back and highly recommend you try them out! read more

Came to this place for lunch and was immediately impressed with the cute decorations. The menus are up front and then you go up to a counter in the back to order. They give you a bowl with utensils and an order number on it. Lunch came with a small bowl of lemongrass soup and an egg roll (both vegetarian). The food itself was extremely mediocre. The vegetables were slightly underdone and I asked for the dish hot spice wise. The food didn't have that punch of flavor that I look for with Thai food and was overall somewhat bland. However service was fine, portions were a good size and I thought the napkin roses on the straws were a nice touch. read more

The thai food at this restaurant was good. I ordered the Massaman curry with chicken and a Thai iced tea and it was really good. As a big fan of Thai cuisine, I cannot believe I let this place fall through cracks. I even work nearby but for some reason I did not discover it until I passed by it on my Bird ride... I went there for lunch during the week. A little past noon it was getting busy and I was lucky to find one of the few tables that were left. this restaurant is not that big. They have a sign asking you to order and pay first. I appreciated two ladies still came out to check if everything is okay with the meal after I got my food. I ordered lunch special drunken noodle. I have tried most of Thai restaurants in Indy, and noticed many of them serve an egg roll and a soup with their lunch dishes. Thai Paradise also had that same special, but the egg roll (pictured) and the soup were smaller than any of the other places I had been too. So that was a slight disappointment. The dish was good, not mind blowing but still good. Speed, and convenience: great. Taste and value: average to good. read more

This is a tiny quick service Thai diner. Order at the counter and get a bucket with a number on it. If you are looking for culinary excellence, this is not the right place. If you are looking for a quick, filling lunch at very reasonable prices ($13 specials) in Downtown Indy, this is a great place to be. I recommend the drunken noodles and spicy basil. read more

The food was okay. The portions were small and not as authentic as they could be. I have a love of drunken noodles and the one here had more veggies than normal; not bad, I wish there were more wide noodles. I was disappointed that they had no spring/salad rolls even they had just opened for lunch. I wanted the som tum salad, glass noodle salad and larb, but was told none of the entrees in that section were available. The idea is to order and pay first then find a seat. The one cashier was also a server and there is no "waitress" service once seated. There was one other lady from the back that helped bring food to the tables. No refills on water, drinks, or anyone to take away duty plates once the food is brought. More waitstaff would be better. read more

We came here for a dine-in and were underwhelmed by the inside seating space (the tables were pretty sticky and the table was un-leveled and made eating soup challenging). The customer service was quick (order at the counter) and the food was solid. It is not the best Pad Thai I've ever had, but it was still delicious. I do like that this place is close to IUPUI to grab lunch! read more

Top tier Thai restaurant downtown. I placed an order online and it was ready when it was supposed to be. Very well packaged to-go order so it remained hot and intact despite me driving like a maniac through traffic. Tom Yum soup was perfect, decent amount of protein added to the delicious broth. Spice level gave me a tingle as I drank the broth but nothing that would cause a coughing fit - ideal. Drunken noodles were delicious, cooked perfectly and spice level again perfect to the order. read more

Been looking for new lunch spots to try downtown and I'm glad this one popped up on my list! They have a lunch special during the week so you can choose from a variety of menu options for only 9.99. I ordered the Thai Basel lunch and it was plenty for me. I called ahead my order and I'm glad I did because the place was packed! They offer dine in and takeout and even have a little patio for some outdoor seating. The food was nice and hot and had tons of flavor. I wish the veggies would have been cooked a little more because they were essentially raw with how crunchy they were. A good medium between mushy and too crunchy is always what I aim for when eating cooked vegetables. Overall it was a great place for lunch and I will definitely be back! read more

I love Thai food and this was my first time ordering from here. I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp and spring rolls. The spring rolls were very chewy and you can tell they were old or may have been sitting out. And they were burnt on the ends. The shrimp in my drunken noodles were not peeled all the way, I kept biting into them and tasted shells. Some of the veggies appears to be old. I will not be returning here and it's unfortunate this is my experience with them! The only reason they didn't get a 1 star is because order came on time. read more
