I was with my mom running errands so of course she wanted to eat here. I was skeptical from the last time, but it didn't stop me. They have a great lunch special that's reasonably priced, and my mom is more on the picky side, if she likes something she sticks with it. The ambiance here is relaxed, it's a small house turned into a restaurant. Service was good at this visit. My mom ordered her usual pork belly ramen with no spice (she is spice naive) and I tried something new here...drunken noodles with steak at level 3 heat (it goes 1-5 with 5 being the hottest). The lunch special comes with soup and a spring roll. This time I made sure to check my soup, and thankfully it was all clear and tasted good. The soup is too spicy for my mom so she doesn't eat it. The spring roll with dipping sauce was appetizing. Our food came quickly after, and everything came out fresh. My mom didn't have any issues with her ramen. For a lunch special, the drunken noodles is a decent portion. The temperature was hot and the spice level was pretty spicy, but I liked it. The steak option went really well with the drunken noodles too, very flavorful. I wasn't able to finish it, asked for a to go container, and our server supplied. We both enjoyed hanging out and got very full.

I was really happy to find this beautiful Thai restaurant in Wanamaker. I happened to be in the area and consulted Yelp to find a place for lunch. I decided to try Baan Thai Bistro after reading a few reviews, and it turned out to be a great decision. I called in an order for carry out. When I saw the quaint interior I wished that I had time to dine in. The building is beautiful, inside and out. The unique decor was practically beckoning me to sit down and enjoy a relaxing meal. I ordered spring rolls and drunken noodles with tofu. The spring rolls were light and crispy. I would recommend ordering a few. Or more than a few. My drunken noodles were excellent. I ordered mild-to medium spice, and the spice level was perfect. The serving size was generous. Will have leftovers for dinner, yay! Service was very pleasant. Ordering was efficient. I called in my order and received a text when my order was ready. I'll definitely return, and would enjoy dining in next time. Thanks to Yelpers for the great reviews that brought me here.

Very impressed with this quaint Thai restaurant in small town Wanamaker. We arrived around 6:15 on a Friday night, and had to wait fifteen minutes for a table of four. Once seated, our waitress greeted us promptly, and brought our drinks. She was great throughout the night, checking in on us frequently. For appetizer, we had the chicken wings with honey garlic siracha sauce. The wings were phenomenal. The chicken was crispy, and the sauce had a nice a balance between sweet and spicy. I also appreciated the additional side of sauce on the side. For my main course, I had the Kao Soi. It had two meaty drumsticks, plenty of noodles, and an aromatic sauce. The crunchy topping was great, and had additional veggies in it which were fresh. Overall impressed by our visit, and am eager to return to try again.

Inflation was beat from the jump here at BTB. Swinging by on a "team-building" extended lunch had me feeling dangerously hungry for a noon thirty special. Jammed in alongside coworkers, the owners grandson dialed in some orders on his self-dubbed device. Puffer jacket and dyed tees ensure family owned echelons. He tuned me up to the number of a Pad Krapow with double soup and double spring rolls. We don't play here. Reminiscing on this meal is akin to a dad at his daughter's U12 soccer trophy ceremony. Proud beyond belief in what this little tank can do, stunned by the ease she gets it done. Shed a tear, life is beautiful y'all and Baan Thai rips!

This place is small but outstanding! The food is flavorful warm and being able to alter the spice level is incredible! The service is outstanding even when we came in late they still severed us with just as much kindness as if we were there early! Even heating up the food the next day it kept the flavor and tasted just as amazing!

This place has been on my list to try for a bit. I finally got around to it. It was a late lunch for me probably around 2 pm. The entrance was in the back and there is a parking lot in the back as well. I parked out front as there was a delivery truck blocking the driveway when I got there. I walked around to the entrance and when I went in there was a wait to be seated sign. It didn't take long to be seated and they gave me a lunch menu and a larger menu but I did not see a cocktail menu so I asked for one. She brought it to me and said the cocktails were just ok, most people order beer or wine. I really wanted a cocktail so I ordered the Almond Sour. Also I flipped the cocktail menu over to the other side and she said, "Oh we have none of these items." My waitress came back to the table and said they were out of Amaretto so I did not try for a second cocktail, I just ordered the Thai Iced Tea. The Thai Iced Tea was interesting, a bit thick and sweet. I am a no sugar in my tea girl so may not have been my best choice. I ordered my meal, I went with the Mixed Vegetable Stir-Fry. She asked what protein I wanted and I chose none. She asked if the Jasmine rice was fine and I said yes. She asked heat level 1-5 and knowing that Thai food can get pretty spicy from another Thai restaurant I go to I ordered heat level 2. I waited for my food and looked around, everything was clean and the place was small. They do have a patio out front that would be nice in nicer weather. She came back with my order and although pretty I found an overall lack of flavor and absolutely no heat and I sure would not have expected that. The Jasmine rice was also a bit congealed together, I do not care for rice all that much anyway so it did not really matter to me that I left it mostly on the plate. I was pretty disappointed but I did like the soup which was a Spicy Thom Yum and I also liked the crunchy spring roll with the dip on the side. I will likely come back to try them again, maybe I ordered the wrong thing, maybe it was a bad day for the chef. I do know I will bump up my heat level here.

This place is so cute and the service is always super friendly. We enjoyed a date night dinner here last night. The crispy pork ramen was full of fresh veggies and the crispy pork was killer! Hubs got the pineapple fried rice and liked it, wished it had a few more pieces of pineapple but the presentation is so cute. We also started with the firecracker shrimp and that was fine. Shrimp a little under seasoned but the chili dipping sauce is delicious!

This was worth the drive let me start by saying that. This cute little family owned restaurant is a small hole in the wall and each dish is made with passion. The food was delicious - we tried the dumplings, fried rice and the pad Thai. It was made to perfection and the spice level was just perfect. Service was excellent, please be patient with them as they are working in a small space and trying to accommodate everyone dining in and to go orders! I highly recommend going here if you are craving Thai!!

Steak lettuce wraps that I will be dreaming about

THAI. LETTUCE. WRAPS! With steak.... If there is anything you take from this review, it is to get those. They were the best things I have eaten in as long as I can remember. Each ingredient popped at a different time, and there was no "star of the show" in a very good way. Further more, the spring rolls were crisp on the outside and not mushy on the inside like I have experienced at other nicer Thai restaurants in Indianapolis. The red curry and cocktails were excellent, as well. Our server was adorable and very helpful in providing us recommendation. The cocktails took awhile, but she explained that there was only one shaker and we appreciated her communication. Go here and check it out. Also, did I mention the lettuce wraps?

Wowza!! This place is a hidden gem!! We randomly found it and I already can't wait to go back!! This is a tiny place out in the middle of nowhere and it looks like a house converted to a restaurant but the food is amazinggg! The perfect sweetness and the best service. 10/10 recommend!!

This place is incredible. It's so cute inside, but small and reservations are highly recommended. I took my friend and I told her that it was going to be THE BEST Thai food she's ever had. Well, guess what!? I. Was. Right. The crab Rangoon dip is everything. Honestly, I wanted to lick the lil skillet it was in. Lettuce wrap? Amazing. You get your choice of filling. Tom Ka and Tom Yum are sheer perfection. Any entree with crispy pork belly is worth shouting about.

I just HAD to visit this spot since they made the list of Top Places to Eat in Indy according to Yelp. Aside from that, this is a restaurant I've been meaning to visit for ages but it's a bit of a drive for me. It was so worth it! I lived in Thailand for a year and a half and just got back two weeks ago from a visit to Thailand. I was definitely still craving Thai food once I got back and this was the absolute perfect restaurant to go to. Aside from the food being flavorful and delicious, the menu had items that are hard to find at Thai restaurants in the states but common in Thailand. I loved learning that it's a family owned business and many of the recipes are family recipes. Their lunch menu had items priced around $11 and they even included soup and a spring roll. In this day and age, this was such a good deal! The last thing to note, the service was fantastic. Our waitress was kind and down to earth. She made sure we had everything we needed and gave great recommendations. It's so cute inside too with a lot of natural light and a patio out front as well! I can't wait to come back again!

This is explained on the website and I believe when I made a reservation online. With about 10 minutes yet to go on our 90 minutes, a person whom i assume was the manager came to our table to remind us. This was okay although it could have been worded differently. We were just paying the bill that had just arrived when she came back again stating she had a reservation waiting and she needed us to basically leave. We did not see anyone waiting either at the hostess stand or outside but rules are rules. Again it could have been worded differently and perhaps it could have been suggested we could finish at the bar (perhaps those are also reserved though) or to one of the empty tables outside. If you want excellent food and great service and you can be finished in 90 minutes I would recommend Bodhi. I also understand turning tables. Just know the timeframe does not allow for dessert (or an appetizer as we did) unless you hurry and you had best be watching the clock or the manager will make it clear you need to leave.

Establishments like BODHI highlight the true meaning of cuisine bridging together love and community - uniting people, sharing Thai cultural traditions and deepening human connections around a shared table whether in the dining room, the bar or their picture-esque patio! Jake was absolutely incredible. From our service to our desert we were left with full hearts (and of course tummies) for the duration of our trek home to Nashville. We of course had to order some cocktails, we ordered our birthstones or on their menu their collection from Gems of Siam "Black Star Sapphire" and "Ruby" The Ruby ended up being the star of the show! The most unique drink we both have tried! We have never experienced something quite like that! From the ruby chocolate swoosh with a boozy tropical gel to the coconut milk punch adding depth to the Song Cai Dry Gin I was left in awe. (Recommend a sip and then a bite of the chocolate to enhance the flavor profile) Our meals were created with such love. It was truly art. Played beautifully and tasted phenomenal. The noodles were light, fluffy, amazing. The Crab Puffs were incredibly light and delicate which gave me a new appreciation for them! I felt like I could devour them without feeling too full or guilty to finish my meal. The curry was spectacular. The spices, the aroma, the flavor profile everything was perfect. No notes. It's delicious. Each bite you understand why BODHI is a staple in the community. You taste their desire to make you happy. To fall in love again. Onto dessert! Salamat Cookies has always held a special place in my heart the moment I discovered them two years ago! As a Nashville resident, I have had their treats delivered to my door. To come to BODHI and to my surprise see Salamat on the menu could've have been a greater cherry on top. We ordered the Ube and Pandan blondies. The experience was put over the edge by the addition of a strawberry cold foam addition to the desserts. Even though we took our deserts to go they were packaged with care. Why will BODHI forever hold a special place in my heart and will always receive a visit or recommendation from me to anyone visiting, driving through or living in Indy? Simple. Love. Each bite you can taste the love that was put in. Every interaction from the staff from dining room, patio, to front of the house you feel the love. Every laugh, every clink of the glass you hear the love! BODHI was built on a strong foundation of love. Three generations of Thai women, three generations of true love, true grit, dreams coming true. (To those reluctant to give this place a whirl due to the time limit, my tip? Be mindful of how your time is spent. Of course be present with your family, friends, colleagues, guests. We were able to order 2 rounds of drinks, share an appetizer, delve into an amazing conversation, enjoy our dinner without rush AND order dessert, summing up our conversation in the allotted time. It's doable! There are also times where they may not have to strictly enforce, however if you know you like to spend more time on your meal and in conversation, try coming on a weekday or coming earlier!
