Our favorite sushi spot in the area, hands down. We're obsessed with their hot and sour soup--it's easily the best around. We usually order five rolls every visit, and four of them are always the same: yellowtail scallion, rainbow, kamikaze, and jaguar. The fifth we rotate just to keep things fun, but the consistency here is what keeps us coming back. Everything is always fresh, flavorful, and just as good for carryout as it is dining in. A true go-to for sushi lovers.

We got the chicken Lo Mein and Mongolian beef and they were disgusting. The chicken and the beef didn't look right and the texture was not right. I am the least picky eater so it's gotta be bad if I didn't eat and had to leave a review.

First time coming here and let me just start by saying NO BUENO! First off just a suggestion but take off the crappy phone booth looking plastic box at your entrance. I should've taken a picture of that. It is clearly a new addition and NOT working. Our waitress was nice and fast to serve. The sushi looked nice and all just happened to also be no bueno for us. My salad was fine and the egg drop soup is just ok. Now we get to business. We got our bento boxes and instantly think "what is that SMELL?!" Hunty it's YOUR VEGGIES! WHY do y'all's vegetables STANK?! I thought it was just mine bc I got seafood but it was all of ours. Next up the "California rolls" were COLD and looked more like rejected from California state rolls. Compared to the rolls in the pictures already posted here that is very questionable. Lastly the crab Rangoon's looked and tasted like they were just old. The fried rice was just not fresh and was cold also. My goodness DO BETTER Bento Cafe! We will NOT be back!

    General Tso's Chicken Dinner Box

After I burnt my dinner at home, decided to try Bento Cafe. I wish I had tried it years ago. My General Tso bento box exceeded expectations. The bento box is filling and priced right.

Love bento boxes! This place gives huge portion and the amount of food you get for the price is *chefs kiss* Very delicious Mongolian beef, my partner had general tsos bento box that was also really good! I recommend coming here for dinner they also have sushi including sushi boat option, maybe we will try that next time

My family and I went out to dinner at Bento Cafe on 4/28. We arrived at around 7pm, and we did not have to wait to be seated. We were offered a booth or a table, and we chose a booth directly across from the sushi counter. Unfortunately, we made the wrong choice of sitting there because all we could smell was the overpowering scent of cleaning supplies (bleach?) from the kitchen. It was nauseating, and I couldn't enjoy my meal. For dinner, I decided to try something new and ordered the Yaki Udon noodles. The noodles themselves were gummy and sticky, and not at all what I was expecting. The menu said the noodles came with "veggies," but the only vegetable in the whole dish was green onion. Plus, there was hardly any chicken in a dish that was advertised to have "shrimp and chicken." Finally, everything on the plate was completely drenched in soy sauce, which gave me an awful stomachache. I would rate my meal 1 star, but the reason for my 3 stars overall is because of the experience for the rest of my family. My sister and mom both love the spicy tuna rolls and Spider-Man rolls, and we all enjoyed the fried pork gyoza for an appetizer. The waiter taking care of us was polite and provided us with good service. I would recommend Bento Cafe for sushi, but I would avoid the hot entrees (and sitting near the kitchen!)

I frequent bento cafe but recently ordered take out from them for the first time. First off, I think their online ordering system is so easy. I like that I don't pay until I pick up my food, it's just easier that way. Service is wonderful as always The food this time around was good and meh. I got the General Tso's chicken bento box. It was delicious! I was worried the portion size may not be the same as in-restaurant but it was! My fiancé got the Chicken Pad Thai and that is where things fell short. The noodles were bright red, covered in seasoning, but there was absolutely no flavor. Very strange. The noodles were also extremely dry. I only live 20 minutes from the restaurant so I am doubtful the car ride caused this.

Years ago, I came here regularly with a friend for lunch and really enjoyed it. So when I was nearby for a workshop that had a lunch break, I was super excited to be so close to Bento! I had remembered it for its excellent lunch special, quick and friendly service, and delicious food. When I got here, I found that the menu had changed and prices had increased--no big deal! To be expected. As a vegetarian, I was disappointed, though, that while all entrees used to include a tofu option, there were only one or two on the menu now. I ordered what I could and it was good! Just wasn't what I was expecting. If I had been in a huge rush, I wouldn't have chosen to go to a sit-down restaurant to begin with, but it was a lunch HOUR. Staff seemed stretched thin and service was slow (which I'm always understanding of if they're friendly!). By the time my food arrived, I didn't have much time to eat it, and to be honest, it was fine but didn't blow me away. I'd had a full hour and was less than 5 minutes away, but barely made it back in time. It's not really the quick pop-in lunch spot I remembered! I was really looking forward to revisiting an old favorite, and was a little bummed that things have changed so much. The food was by no means bad and this was far from the worst experience! But for the cost and time spent, there were tons of other options nearby.

    Sushi time!

Cute little place tucked between LA fitness and ALDIs. Started off with crab rangoons and pork gyoza. Crab Rangoons were a little tiny bit fishy but still a good crunchy bite. The pork gyoza was fried perfectly and filled well. Ended up getting the sushi lunch special, shrimp tempura, rock n, and spicy salmon. Made very well and fresh! Loved the spicy salmon had the crunchies in it. Superb place well decorated inside and clean! They also have the sushi boat which would be well worth your money instead of ordering separately at dinner time!

How much does the Sushi Boat cost and about how many people could it feed? Thanks!

They have some listed on their menu. The one we had was just four rolls we picked and was about $35. Also, you can order anything and they will put it in a boat!

Being fairly new to the Fishers area, I did a quick review scroll (as a yelper does lol) and went in with high hopes... and let me tell you, they did NOT disappoint! First off, the menu? Solid. So many options it almost stressed me out, in the best way! I finally landed on the Aloha Special Plate with Hawaiian BBQ Chicken + Chicken Katsu, upgraded my rice to fried rice, and it also came with the mac salad and veggies. Now when I opened that container... BABY. The portions?! Generous is an understatement. They did not come to play! The BBQ chicken was sweet, savory, and full of flavor. The chicken katsu? Crispy, golden perfection. Like... exactly what you want it to be. The macaroni salad was also hitting... creamy, flavorful, no complaints there. Only thing that fell a little flat for me was the rice, it just needed a bit more flavor. But honestly, everything else made up for it. I can't speak on the service or vibe since we did takeout, but based on this meal alone? Yeah... I'll absolutely be back. I've already got my eye on a few more things on the menu!

The sauces definitely helped, but I was hoping it would have more of that Hawaiian BBQ flavor. The chicken was also a little chewy. I would have liked a larger portion of rice, but that is more of a personal preference. We ordered pick up, so experience inside is limited. From what we saw, it was very reminiscent of island decor. The order was actually ready at the time it said it was going to be, which is always a plus.

We had to order at a kiosk, but we were happy to see that all of our old favorites were still on the menu. For appetizers, we ordered the steamed dumplings and the lettuce wraps. The amount of dumplings we received was perfect for our party of four, and there was more than enough chicken and lettuce for the lettuce wraps. One thing I loved about the wraps was that the lettuce was fresh and crispy, giving each bite a satisfying crunch. We ordered way too much food for dinner, but it was all delicious! I had the chicken fried rice, and since my favorite part is always the fried egg, I appreciated the abundance of fried egg in the dish. The rice was a little too overly-sauced, but it didn't taste sticky or gummy at all. My sister tried the honey sesame chicken for the first time, and she loved it. My mother had the pad Thai (which I forgot to take a picture of--whoops!), and she appreciated that she could choose her spice level and that the noodles were very flavorful. One of my father's favorite dinners is Mongolian Beef, and the Mongolian Beef from Asian Grill did not disappoint. The beef was tender and juicy, and he enjoyed the meal at the "medium" spice level. On the way to the restaurant, my father was raving about the chicken noodle soup, so of course we had to order some! Unfortunately, we were too full to even try the soup, but we got a takeout container that we can reheat at home. Asian Grill offers Pepsi products, and the drinks were very expensive. One cup was over $3, and the bottled sodas from the fridge were around the same price. My reason for rating Asian Grill a 4/5 instead of a 5/5 is because of the atmosphere. The upholstery is ripping off the seats of the booths, we had to use plastic utensils instead of real silverware, and the floors were dirty. We also had to bus the table ourselves. Overall, Asian Grill is not what it used to be, but it is still a good option for Chinese food in Noblesville.

I don't have a benchmark, since this is my single Indonesian food experience. I ordered the bala-bala and beef rendang. The bala-bala were packed with recognizable veggies and had a light crispy texture. Not greasy or oily at all. My main course came with rice, a jackfruit curry and kale. A green chili sauce, more like a relish is served on the side. It is very spicy. The beef was well spiced, fork tender and just dreamy. I was also surprised by the jackfruit curry-something I've never had but liked with the spiciness of the beef-I did use a lot of the green chili sauce. The place is small and very casual and serves coffee drinks but doesn't have a liquor license. You can carry in from the pub next door, though. The parking lot is very small but I think you can park in the adjoining lot by the pub. I went at an odd time and was the only customer other than a couple of drunk women trying to get coffee. There's also a small shop where you can buy Indonesian spices, mixes and coffee. I regret not buying the rendang mix! I'm definitely going back to try some of the other dishes, ideally with friends to share appetizers-I want that lumpia-and I'll be sure to grab a package of rendang spice on my way out.
