Sushi
Andrew M.

My wife and I were in town traveling and decided to get some sushi. This place did not disappoint. Our server was incredibly quick with refills and gave great suggestions 10/10 service. The Ambiance was very nice and well put together. It was the perfect spot for a nice dinner. Sushi rolls were great and well prepared. If I lived locally would definitely return!

Sometimes I forget about Tegry for sushi. When I return, I remember how good it is here! We went on a weekend eve and the place was busy, but we had no wait. Our server was friendly, helpful and attentive. I ordered miso soup and my partner ordered seaweed salad, served cleverly in a martini glass. We had a slightly longer wait for our sushi, but by this time the place was hopping and the sushi chef was busy! We had some nice conversation in the meantime, and were pleased the chef came to confirm a couple substitutions we'd asked for. The other fun aspect of Tegry is their selection of unique rolls, they have some fun twists on traditional sushi that I like...especially the spicier rolls. Our choices were plated beautifully, and the sushi was as good as I hoped for. The parking and accessibility here is excellent, most of the time we get a spot in the row just in front of the restaurant. Prices are reasonable as well, and honestly quite a bargain for the quality. Don't sleep on this gem for unique and delicious sushi!

First off .. I am a sushi punk and only eat cooked but this is my second time here and that says a lot! (The raw side is my boyfriend's) but the food is amazing and very tasty! I had the chicken tempura and Mexican and he had the lollipop and the Las Vegas and no complaints !! The ambience is so nice and relaxing, would be great quick lunch or a great date night. Both times I have visited has been great welcoming service, highly recommend

Always a great visit when we come here. The restaurant is tidy and spacious. The employees are very kind and efficient as well. We just recently visited with friends for dinner, and the food was stunning. Very delicious and flavorful. Sake all around! Great temperature. It was nice and smooth to drink. We all got sushi rolls and shared with each other. Another thing is, you can substitute soy paper for the seaweed in any roll, which is great for those that don't like seaweed (my husband) I didn't have one complaint about the whole visit. If you aren't into sushi, a bowl of chicken fried rice will hit the spot. I can't say it enough about this place. Flavor, flavor, flavor.

This place was top notch! The sushi is so affordable and absolutely delicious! They have a lot of other things on the menu, but I love the sushi here. They have so many specialty rolls to choose from as well. Also, a bit random but they have really good iced tea! The inside is quiet and very clean, a really nice lunch or dinner place. Service is always great and fast, which I appreciate! Highly recommend trying this place out!

This is my go-to place for sushi. I live in DT Indy and will make the trip here just for this sushi. I am a huge sushi fanatic and i can't enough of their special rolls. One of my favs from here is the Crunchy Tuna Roll; it has the perfect amount of crisp with a flow full burst. On the other hand, a nice fresh roll would have to be the Cherry Blossom. I've tried many rolls from here and haven't been disappointed yet. Must go try if you love sushi! Tip: I recommend going during non-busy hours, I know they get very busy on the weekends!

The shrimp was amazing, served with a slaw of some kind and a dipping sauce that was so flavorful with a hint of a spicy end to it that paired so well with the sweetness of the coconut. The martinis were both great, I really enjoyed the pistachio martini more of a dessert, and with the chocolate rim and chopped pistachios on the side it was an unexpectedly delightful drink. A bit messy, but the chocolate really added to each sip so glad I tried it! Can't wait to dine here again. The layout was great too, with some separation of dining spaces it made our area not too loud even when the restaurant got busier.

So when I saw them featured on The Devour Summer Fest 2026 menu I knew now would be the perfect opportunity to go check it out! Calvin greeted us with a warm, welcoming smile & genuinely friendly energy. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We loved our dinner so much he helped us make sure we could return for brunch when the Open Table app was being glitchy. Zach did a great job taking care of our order and was very attentive. It was my first time requesting a DORA to go cup to take a cocktail with me after leaving the restaurant. He was really nice about that. The food was incredible. I LOVED the Gnocchi French Onion soup, and the Bahama Mama Chicken--chicken kabobs with grilled pineapple & red peppers, tamarind Jerk BBQ sweet maduros, Cuban black beans & rice, guacamole and pickled onions. I particularly loved the warm pineapple with the Jerk sauce and how tender the chicken was. It was such a generous portion I will be having the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The Florida Key's Lobster & Shrimp Roll made with Hawaiian rolls, served warm with Key West Lime butter or chilled Maine-style and salt & vinegar fries were out of this world!! The cocktails are also fantastic delicious and reasonably priced. They have a great selection and happy hour as well. I love the decor and the vibes. They even played Sublime which made me feel like I was back in Long Beach, CA where some of my best core memories were relived during this dinner! Can't wait to return!

To Whom It May Concern,…read more Like it or not we are in a current environment of people complaining more than saying thank you, great job, etc. In my dining out experiences over the past sixty plus years, I wanted to let you know what a great job the restaurant and the staff does at your restaurant, Ted's Montana Grill, located at 5910 W. 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46278. I've had the luxury over the past 60 plus years of dining where ever I wanted to go and out of all of those restaurants over the years, I still rate "Ted's top of the best". The food selections and quality of the food served are always excellent. The staff always goes out of their way to be sure everything is satisfactory and afterwards they always ask if you want a drink to go when you leave. I highly recommend that anyone looking for quality food, affordable pricing, and high quality service, to visit Ted's Montana Grill in Indianapolis, Indiana Thanks, Paul

I'll start by saying this restaurant has the potential to be fantastic. It's nice inside, on the…read morefancier side, with an affordable menu. It's not in the most convenient area of town but worth the drive when the food is on point. There's a great amount of options, including bison, which is rare to see. My favorite item here is the chopped salad, but it's a way better deal to get just the side salad for $11. The entree portion is the same size salad but you'll be charged an extra $9 for one chicken breast. Other things are oddly priced, like $10 for a kids meal which is, for example, a burger (their burgers are usually pretty good), full size side, and a drink for $10, yet a side by itself (such as 4 onion rings) is $8. I've had the chopped salad several times since my first visit here last summer. It's usually good in person but getting this to-go is typically not a great experience, which is why I don't plan to return. The last few times I've had the salad, several ingredients were missing, along with other items missing. It's clear that there is no care or quality check on to go orders. There's a long wait to remake the food so I usually just take a partial refund. If you call and are told 30 minutes, it's usually ready within 10 minutes, so food is cold at pickup. If you are told 10 minutes, you might wait close to an hour because no one remembers to put your order in. It's wild. Yesterday, the to-go order was awful. My chopped salad arrived soaked in water. EIGHT viva paper towels later (yes, the brand matters because this brand absorbs a LOT), my salad was still soaked. It wasn't dressing because the liquid was clear and dressing was on the side. My friend's Caesar salad was also soaked, the lettuce was black and green, and her croutons were like soggy sponges. I called, asked for the manager, and after a 15 minute wait, he said I could pick up a gift card. Even a partial refund for food that had to go in the trash was an option. With rising food costs and thousands of restaurants to choose from in town, this place cannot maintain steady business with such lack of care. Until they hold themselves to consistent standards for dine in AND carry out, save your time and money, go anywhere else so that you can have a quality, edible meal.

Casarecce is an s-shaped pasta that works well with chunky sauces. This dish was outstanding. Finally, at Chef's suggestion, we ordered the Barnsley chop, a thick double lamb loin chop cut from the saddle featuring two T-bones connected by a single piece of meat. It was cooked to perfection and accompanied by a fava bean puree. One of our number exclaimed that she had never had a better piece of lamb. The other two just could not remember, but certainly agreed that it was as good as any lamb we have ever had. And my spouse picked up the bone and chewed meat off of it.
