Second best sushi I've had in the area just super consistent in high quality taste no matter what you order. It's in a great location in Broad Ripple. Was able to go for a nice walk after and get a night cap nearby. If you can try to sit at the bar and watch them make the sushi right in front of you. Sushi Bar in Broad Ripple has been a staple restaurant of mine for lunch, dinner, date nights, family weekend, or any special occasion since moving to Indianapolis. This has remained a top contender of sushi restaurants in the Indianapolis area for me, not only because of the wide variety of sushi and wine that never disappoints, but also because of the friendly service and welcoming environment that has remained consistent for the past four years I have been coming here. Last week, my parents and I decided to go to Sushi Bar during Family Weekend at Butler University, which just so happens to be a consistent restaurant that we have happened to come to every family weekend. The fish and food here are always top-notch for very reasonable prices, and the staff are always very nice and remember you. I always start with miso soup and white rice, typically order salmon nigiri (one or maybe two orders), then typically a rainbow roll, but I stepped out of my comfort zone this time and tried the Narudo roll, which was very fresh and appealing with the cucumber wrapping instead of the typical seaweed paper. They also have delicious mochi for dessert if you aren't full from all of the delicious sushi! We got crab rangoon for our appetizer; loved the sweet & sour sauce!! Next we got our house salad and miso soup; both really good. For our entrees, we got shrimp teriyaki, chicken teriyaki, and a sushi roll to share. We got the teriyaki because we were unsure how big the rolls were, but a sushi roll for one person would suffice. The shrimp teriyaki was really good, not too heavy. The sushi was my favorite part of the whole meal. We got the Mexican roll and it was delicious! We have always had great experiences coming here. The service is always very quick! It can get very busy so expect a small wait on Friday/Saturday Evenings. It's a smaller restaurant but the perfect vibe! They do have outdoor seating and it's perfect during the summer evenings. Food is always great of course. Incredible Sushi! Went with some friends for a Birthday Dinner and it was the perfect place to go. Parking can be difficult so we decided to get dropped off however, for those who are driving there is parking on the side of the row outside the restaurant but very limited spots. My favorite part about going to sushi bar is the atmosphere. They play great music that is enjoyable to hear while eating with your friends. The workers are very nice and the service is quick.
