I can't believe I haven't been here sooner! The sashimi was delicious--thick cuts and good size pieces. Fresh! Prices are very reasonable. They have AMAZING lunch specials, 2 rolls for $10 with soup. You really can't beat it. Staff were all very friendly and the place is clean & cutely decorated. I will 100% be back, excited to try their other items like ramen!

This has quickly become our absolute favorite sushi spot in Indiana! The menu has such a unique selection and the sushi here is unforgettable--you'll find yourself craving it even when you're not dining in. Our must-try favorites are the Angry Dragon Roll, Sunrise Roll, and Fire & Ice Roll--each one is packed with flavor and beautifully crafted. Every visit feels special and the quality is consistently excellent. The service is immaculate--friendly, attentive and welcoming. My son especially enjoys interacting with (what we believe to be) the owners' son and daughter, which adds a warm family touch to the experience. We love bringing visiting family here because we truly believe it's the best sushi in Indiana. No other spot we've tried even comes close. If you're looking for incredible rolls and an amazing dine-in experience this is the place!

    Love this place. Sugoi! Ichiban!

Authentic and delicious. Nice ambiance. Best meal we have had in a long time. Delicious, clean and a great experience.

Minazuka Sushi Bar celebrated its grand opening a little over a month ago in a little strip mall near 421 and US 465. The dining room is upscale and lovely with pastel Japanese kimonos and pink cherry blossoms decorating the walls. There is a mix of booths and tables and a small sushi bar in the back. Gentle Asian music plays in the background. Our server was charming and friendly. She brought water, checked on us and food came out quickly. For lunch, we each had two sushi rolls and salad. The salad is large with the most incredible freshly made mango dressing. The spicy crab roll was creamy and tasty. I loved the shrimp tempura roll, which was filled with four large shrimp, lots of cucumber and a sweet sauce. My lunch was delicious and filling. Prices are very reasonable. They have applied for a liquor license to serve beer, wine and saki. The parking lot can be challenging to get in and out. I highly recommend and will return soon.

This restaurant is a hidden gem off Michigan Rd. One of those places you'd drive by but never really come in until you have one of their wonderful sushi rolls. A vast menu of sushi rolls to choose from with a nice quaint venue. The service was attentive and quick. I'll definitely be back.

Stopped by this place for a team dinner and it is a new and hidden gem. The sushi was well crafted with a solid presentation. I wouldn't have thought to come here if it wasn't for an evening meeting after, but I will be back! The staff was really nice and the sushi chef showed pride in his craft.

That was so so cute! It's really clean and the decoration is so cute. I loved to see the chef making the sushis in front of us. My plate was truly delicious. The fish is fresh and excellent. I took some take out for my daughter to taste! Thank you!

We found this place on a whim, having visited on their opening weekend. We were the only customers from for our entire meal which boggled me because everything was wonderful! Nice, new interior, polite service, fresh food and a 10% "grand opening" discount. We will be back.

Wow, this place is nice. The decor and ambiance is relaxing, that wood color is just nice. But…read moretheir food is where it hits the spot. Started with Ika Geso Kara-Age: crispy but soft at same time with good flavor; Popcorn chicken: very tender meat with good after taste in the batter. These 2 doesn't even need a sauce to enjoy. The shrimp tempura is just ok, it's something you can get at Trader Joe's (it's exactly the same). The main courses are Shoyu chicken ramen: the soup is so good and flavorful. That aftertaste that hits the back part of the palate. The Pork Tonkatsu Omurice combo: presentation was great, the sauce wasn't overwhelming and actually made everything good. The menu is overwhelming, but everything we had was great and very filling. Definitely will come back. Service was attentive but not intruding. It's also great to have a call button in the huts. Also it's very good to have pictures as it really helps in choosing. They have paper towels in the restroom. No outdoor seating.

Kyuramen is that type of place, though. It's said that first impressions count, and if you want to visit a restaurant that makes a great first impression, this is the place. It's hard to describe the decor, but I'll try. There's a big, fake wooden tree in the middle of the restaurant. All around the tree are cozy, intimate booth pods that look like little huts. There's also seating that looks like a honeycomb, with more intimate booths, and an upstairs, if you wanted to sit a little higher. Tables are in the middle of the room, and there is bar seating, as well. There's a robot server that glides around the room, although, I never did interact with it. Booth seating was procured, because I love to feel nestled in a cozy space. The menu is large, as there was not one menu but four different menus: the regular menu, the specials, the milk tea / boba menu, the sake / alcohol menu. It can be a little overwhelming if you've never been here, or if you've never had ramen, because there are so many options. Luckily, the menu has lots of photos and descriptions. Or! Visit with someone who has had ramen and has opinions about ramen. Or! Ask the servers. They are very friendly and helpful. I got the Combo A1, which is Tokyo tonkotsu shoyu ramen, plus a pork bao, and a matcha and red bean pudding for dessert. The ramen was good but not my favorite, and I think I'll order a spicy ramen next time. The bao was amazing -- so fatty and meaty, and it was probably the largest bao bun that I've ever seen, let alone ate! The matcha pudding was the perfect ending to the meal, and came with a delicate mini pitcher of cream to pour over the pudding. I also got to try the tempura shrimp, and I think that's what I'll be getting next time! This might have been the best tempura shrimp I've ever eaten. The batter was perfect and crispy, and somehow melted in my mouth. I might need to revisit just to get tempura. They have a nice selection of sake here. They got your cold sake, hot sake, jelly sake, cloudy sake and even sparkling sake. What's a girl to do? Order the sake! I was eating a hot bowl of ramen, so I opted for the cold sake, which was nice and refreshing. This is such a chill place to have a bowl of ramen or a Japanese snack. The private booths make this place the perfect spot for an intimate meal, but it's also a great space for groups because they also have table seating.

It was very clean with a few people dining in. It appeared that most orders were carry out, at least in mid-afternoon when I was there. The menu is easy to read, with clear explanation of how to order the bowls. I chose a tofu noodle bowl, yaki style. The vegetables in the bowl were good, especially the broccoli. It was perfectly cooked, slightly crisp. Tofu was tasty too. I'm glad that I ordered extra Teriyaki sauce. Next time I will try the spicy tofu. I like the simple menu as it is not intimidating or difficult to order. It is fast and easy. I do wish there was a vegetarian spring roll on the menu for people who don't eat chicken.
