    Chicken banh mi sandwich
    Tasha L.

My husband loves Pho and was craving it so after some googling, we found this place. We were greeted and seated immediately. We ordered 2 coke zeros, a bowl of pho and a chicken banh mi sandwich. Our food arrived rather quickly snd it tasted amazing! The food was well worth the price as well! Definitely try this place! We highly recommend it

Pho Ever has really good food -- the flavors are solid and it always hits when you're craving. That being said, I really wish the service was better. Every time I go, I feel kind of rushed, which takes away from the experience a bit. I get that it can be busy, but it would be nice to not feel hurried while eating. Food-wise, no complaints. Just hoping the service improves because it would make a big difference.

I was craving a Viet rice dish and I wanted to have their grilled pork again! It was pretty good. Pork was flavorful and the portioning is fair. The homemade fish sauce was pretty good as well. I also had their broth and it was only $2. Broth was tasty and comforting. The ambiance is okay. Just a place to enjoy from good Vietnamese food. Service is okay. The food didn't take long to make. There are some employees who aren't so attentive and nice, which continues to be a thing here.

Casual neighborhood joint with an extensive menu. I got the steak pho, which had a deep broth, more aromatic than a lot of other places. Seemed very authentic. My family ordered phos with more variety of meat cuts but found that there wasn't a good balance in the different types of meat in the bowl. We also ordered the spring rolls, which were very fresh.

Gotta say pretty spot on for the rating of this place. BUT, that being said, this is one of my favorite dive pho places on the east side. The service is pretty meh. They aren't amazing nor are they bad. They will take your order and bring you your food but that's about it. The inside is, well looks like diver restaurant so don't expect much. The dishes, well I'm here for the pho and the Poh is good! The spring roll and sauce is great! The grilled meat over noodles is spot on. These dishes all have great flavor and are one of my favorite places. But then there's stuff like the grilled calamari which is very meh. So if you are coming here. Know what to order and they will be great. I mean look at that perfectly cooled pho meat!

I visit Seattle once a year and try to stop by when I can since my friend lives nearby. The pho is still very solid here. I like that the broth is very tasty and flavorful. It's a simple but comforting dish. They give you a ton of noodles and they are cooked well. I got a small steak and beef ball. The meat was tasty. The small size I didn't feel like they gave a ton of meat but maybe I was hungry today.

I have been looking for a new go to pho place since my favorite got torn down in Bellevue for new Amazon buildings. This place is close. I got the large steak pho and fresh rolls. The portion sizes are very generous...there was a ton of steak in my soup. The fresh rolls were good...the peanut sauce with them lacked a little flavor but was fine. The food came out very quickly, but we had to ask 3 times to get a to go box. Vibes are exactly as you'd expect a standard pho place to be...however, the floors were extremely slippery. I almost fell three times. Will definitely come back!

The atmosphere was nice and beef noodle soup, all beef number 12. Was really good! Tendon, brisket and steak. It took 5 minutes so they normally keep the soup in a pot in the morning when they open at 10 so it normally is already prepared.

    - popular lunch spot - This is our to-go place for pho since it's the closest to our place. They are usually packed for lunch, but dinner is okay. Tons of people who work around here eat lunch here regularly. My husband usually gets the super bowl with all sorts of random parts from the cow (tripe, tendon, you name it), and I usually get the house special bun (vermicelli salad). Today I got a rice dish #61 (beef short rib, a shrimp skewers with 3 shrimps, and an egg roll). It comes with some pickled radish and carrots that you usually see in the Vietnamese sandwich, two pieces of raw cucumber and a lettuce salad with creamy dressing. Their grilled meat usually tastes good, but the portion has been decreasing over the years due to inflation. Both the super bowl and my rice dish was $18.95, so after tip it's almost $50 for 2 for lunch, which is quite a bit. One thing I really dislike about this place is the seating. If you sit on either side of the restaurant in the booth-like chairs, you'll end up sharing the back of your seat with a stranger. Many people are unaware and make large movements, which you can feel even if you're not leaning against the seat. This creates a lot of unnecessary discomfort, especially since the seats are quite old and move easily. I'd recommend sitting in the middle instead, where there are individual chairs. PS. The Vietnamese coffee is good here, but they give you tons of ice like other places. We also stopped buying it after they raised from price from $3.5 or $4 (medium cup) to $6.5 (large cup) due to the inflation.

Love this place! Bun Bo Hue is my favorite and their fried chicken wings are spot on as well! I like to order both so I have a takeaway. Popular spot, you can tell during the week around lunch time! Yum! Favorite pho spot around Redmond/Bellevue

First day of the year deserves noodle soup, and the pho broth from "Pho Ever" was some of the best, most balanced beef broth I've had: maybe it's because it's the new year, or because it is just so wet and chilly here in the Seattle area that a good broth suddenly becomes legendary (at least in my mind). My daughter, her husband, and I came for a meal during dinner, and it was fairly crowded (always a good sign even on a holiday). We got seated right away with tap water, and each of us got a laminated book with a lot of classic Vietnamese choices. Each of chose a different variation of beef noodle soup. I like mine with all the meats, and they did have a version called 'Special Noodle Soup" consisting of steak, brisket, flank, tendon, tripe, and meat ball. It came in two sizes: Small ($15.95) and Large ($16.95)...for that price difference, of course, I got the large...but in reality they are very similar in size. All the soups are the same price (except for Ox Tail which is more). This is on the higher end for pho, so my expectations immediately were elevated. The accompaniments came first, and consisted just of raw bean sprouts, a fresh sprig of Thai basil, lime wedge, and a couple of jalapeno slices. Nothing too fancy, but very fresh. The soup came next, so dunked the basil and bean sprouts and waited a bit. They use red onion instead of the usual white. The soup wasn't served hot enough: the basil didn't wilt/curdle and the raw eye of round steak stayed very rare for quite a long time. But this was a good thing in that it stayed very tender, though folks who like their beef well-done wouldn't have liked it. It also did come with quite a lot of other meat, including thin chunks of tripe and large cuts of tendon. Just one sliver of meatball, and it was good, though wish there were more. Service was OK, and the prices are higher than others. But what really made the bowl (and the visit) was the broth. Just enough fat and gelatin from the beef bone and connective tissues, for a really good mouth feel, but still keeping the broth very clean (in appearance and taste), but at the same time, having enough flavor for me to drink it straight from the bowl even after I had fished out all the noodles and proteins. It was that good.

Blackened vs not blackened $18.99 keto choice ....

Great energy in this place! The staff is efficient, and the food comes out with plenty of satisfying carbs and fresh shrimp. I looked for more vegetables in my dish and ended up swapping the vermicelli for iceberg lettuce with large julienned cucumbers, sprouts, and crunchy chopped peanuts, all tossed with a light sweet-and-sour dressing. The base price was $18.99, or just over $25 with gratuity, for the grilled chicken breast. I know I'm the exception, but as a middle-aged diner, if I'm eating food that's blackened by fire or high heat, I really want a generous serving of antioxidant-rich vegetables--something like steamed broccoli--to go with it. It took about half an hour, but they did eventually replace my large chicken skewer so it wasn't charred. For younger folks or anyone with a hearty appetite, this is an easy spot to enjoy every day. It's a good choice overall. My wife had the lo mein with shrimp, and hers was fresh and tasty as well.

Went on a Friday for a late lunch with the family. Got seated quickly which is greatly appreciated when eating with kids. Ordered a large pho, short rib plate, grilled pork banh mi and Vietnamese coffee. The pho was ok, broth very light with not as much flavor as we're accustomed to. The pork banh mi and short rib plate were delicious. We will definitely return for those again in the future. The Vietnamese coffee was unfortunately not good at all. It came out the color of oat milk and tasted like all condensed milk. We attempted to ask for more coffee inside to explain the overly sweet taste.

When I arrived, the restaurant was about 1/3 full. The place was pretty quiet and didn't seem very lively, but there were others that showed up after me so that seemed pretty promising. The server sat us down but didn't mention about the QR code on the table so I sat there for about a min or two before I noticed. The whole menu and ordering was done all on your phone for the whole table. Not very much interaction. We ordered the spicy BBQ chicken skewers, the stewed beef rib noodle soup, and the normal beef flank noodle soup. The order came out relatively fast. The spicy BBQ chicken skewer was not what I expected. I was expecting a skewer like a kabob, but I received a few skewers with what seems to be thin pieces of ground chicken. The flavor was alright, but the chicken was VERY dry, which made it hard to enjoy. My stewed beef rib noodle soup wasn't bad. I got it with normal sized noodles and some beef flank on the side. The noodles were fine, but the soup could've been warmer. I was expecting a hot bowl of soup. The flavor was lacking a little, but it became much better after I added some chili oil. The rib meat wasn't bad. It had a a couple bites that were a tad tough but the flavor was kinda there. Honestly the extra flank pieces I had were better. Much better overall and it was pretty tender. I didn't really try my friend's bowl, but she got her soup with wide noodles. They were a bit wider than she expected. She made note that her noodles did seem undercooked and they had a slight doughy chew to them. She said it would've been better if it was cooked a little longer. Overall I enjoyed my soup. There are some things I would change, but I think it was a good first experience for something I've never had before.

The space is small and a little narrow, so seating can be pretty limited. My parents and I were lucky enough to grab the last table, and we ordered 4 items: the dry noodle with scallion oil and braised pork chop, the secret dumplings, large wonton, and salty soy milk (dumplings and wonton aren't pictured). I was most curious and most disappointed by the scallion noodle and pork chop. The portion size seemed too small to justify its price point, and I felt the pork chop tasted dry. The noodles however, had a great flavor, so if I were to try the place again, I'd only go for the scallion oil noodles. The dumplings were amazing. They were a little pricey but worth the cost, and worth the restaurant name. The dumplings were larger than most dumpling places I've been to, and the meat and soup inside were super flavorful. The wontons were also good, though it can't beat the pan fried dumplings. The salty soy milk was a very unique experience- it was thicker, rich and flavorful than other salty soy milk soups that I'm used to. It almost has an umami, seafood-ish taste to it. Though I'm not a big fan of soy milk, I enjoyed this dish more than expected! After our meal, we got to choose some magnets to take home, which was a creative and sweet gift. For the overall price point, I don't think I'd be coming here regularly for a meal. I may drop by for choice items like the pan fried dumplings!

From the moment you walk in, the cultural atmosphere stands out--many of the patrons are Asian, and on my visit, a few were even dressed in traditional garments, which added a vibrant, lived-in feel to the space. It's the kind of detail you can't manufacture, and it speaks volumes about the restaurant's credibility within the community. The interior itself is fairly average--nothing particularly modern or upscale--but it doesn't detract from the experience. If anything, it keeps the focus where it belongs: on the food. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. There were only two servers handling the floor, and they were clearly stretched thin. Ordering is done digitally, which helps streamline things, but you can still feel the strain during peak times. That said, the food started arriving quickly--our tofu noodle dish came out almost immediately, while the beef dish lagged behind a bit. Presentation leans traditional in a charming way. The plates and chopsticks have that classic, no-frills aesthetic that complements the overall vibe of the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the food. First, a word of caution: spice levels here are no joke. If you're sensitive to heat, you'll want to dial it down. But if you can handle it, the flavors are absolutely worth it--rich, bold, and deeply satisfying. The tofu was exceptionally soft, almost silky, and clearly freshly prepared. The noodles matched that texture perfectly--tender, well-cooked, and comforting. Pricing is another strong point. For the quality and portion sizes, it's very reasonable, making it an easy spot to revisit without hesitation. Overall, Nine Noodles is a great pick if you're looking for authentic flavors, a culturally immersive atmosphere, and solid value. It's not about fancy decor or polished service--it's about good, honest food. I'd definitely come back.

For our most recent order, we got two personal combos (main + appetizer + drink) through a Chinese app, which frequently has discounts. I'm a big fan of their takeout containers--they keep the noodles and soup nicely separated. The takeout bag is super sturdy, and the popcorn chicken has just the right amount of spice to really hit the spot. That said, I'd still recommend dining in, because the food is easily about three times better. I also think the portion of popcorn chicken is more generous when you dine in. But then I had to ask for the drinks so already it's off to a bad start. The drinks came and felt watered down. So let's talk about the food real quick. Its ok. But after the third time coming I have noticed a decrease in the quality of the paired dishes and the amount you get. Also there was a strong feeling of over teasing with a lack luster flavor profile. So to add the final straw, we were all done and had to wait 15 minutes for the last side dish to come. I tried getting it canceled or get some credit but the chaser said no and so we waited. Could have been much better in all aspect.

This has quickly become one of my favorite Chinese restaurants for spicy food. I've been here twice…read morenow and enjoyed every dish I tried. I've come for both lunch and dinner, usually shortly after they open, and never had to wait. Just looking at the crowd, you can tell this is an authentic place. As someone who travels to China frequently, this restaurant definitely meets my expectations. The Hunan-style spicy dishes really satisfy my craving for bold heat and flavor. I've tried the stone pot spicy tofu with meatballs, 梅菜扣肉 (braised pork with preserved vegetables), spicy lamb, stone pot black pepper beef, stinky tofu, and the fried oyster mushrooms. I loved all of them. These are the kind of dishes where you can easily finish a big bowl of rice--and still want more even when your belly is already full. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes. Service was prompt, and one small detail really stood out to me: during my first visit, they actually replenished the napkins mid-meal. With spicy food and the inevitable runny nose, that level of thoughtfulness is appreciated!

Been here a few times already. One of the best mapo tofu in the area! It's perfectly spicy (I…read morehaven't been able to find a spicy enough mapo tofu here), super flavorful, and very authentic. I'm also a fan of the 沸腾鱼 here (not sure what the English name is), which was one of my favorite dishes from childhood that is really, really hard to find done right outside of the Bay Area. For such an authentic restaurant, I'm also impressed with their high-end decor, quick service, and cleanliness. You definitely wouldn't expect it to be so good walking in! Continues to be one of my regular stops.
