My second time here and getting the wrong order at my table, that sat and sat. The person was mad that I had one of the spring rolls. You don't come back timely and don't communicate, all I can say is it was good. Took my pho to go, last time it was tasty. At the end of this visit the same person who served me was the one who rang me up (a man in his early 20's) gave me my bills back and in a hurried manner tossed my change to me. Great lunch spot, they service is fast and food is good. The menu is very extensive with lots of choices, the cleanliness leaves a little to be desired. While I know we came during the lunch rush the table we were seated at was wiped down but it was still very dirty as was the bench. The pho was good, we enjoyed the broth. I love the oxtail pho here and they are the only ones I know of that do oxtail in Bellevue, just stating the positives first. But almost 90% of the time we do a pick-up order, something is missing. And it will be usually on my order because I add extra protein to my pho. So it's usually, missing shrimp, or extra meatballs and yeah, it's only $2-4 each time but it adds up because they won't do a refund, and I'm not driving all the way back to get one. They offer for the *next* time you come in, they will give it to you. Yeah. I hate that. So annoying to me. Why did I tip? Why do I bother ordering extra when I know it won't be there? Glutton for punishment I guess. So unless I remember next time to ask for it, and they actually honor it, I waste $2-4 almost every order. So no more. Ugh. Also, don't bother with their fresh rolls, it's alllll lettuce and tiny pieces of shrimp. Or just tofu and lettuce. No frills just a lotta' lettuce. Don't waste your $. Otherwise, again, the oxtail pho is the bomb. Just better customer service would be awesome. First time here. I' ve driven pass this restaurant for years and finally had time to try it. Lots of patrons here on Easter Sunday. Our favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Bellevue closed years ago, and there aren't many Pho restaurants left in the area. We ordered an oxtail pho with extra steak (+$3.00) see pics , and a large # 20 brisket, flank, tripe pho. Not sure if there was flank steak in my pho, and the brisket was very fatty. The bowl did only come with one egg roll which I was hoping for at least one more. The sauce (nuoc mam cham) also felt like it needed just a tab bit more fish sauce in my opinion. I wish I could give this 0 stars but I had to give at least a 1, the workers professionalism was absurd as they were horribly rude and looked at me and my friends like we were dumb, they tried to double charge us for a pho and instead of making the situation easy the workers made the whole incident even harder then it needed to be while constantly being rude and unhelpful. Not only that we ordered a steak and brisket pho and found tripe in our soup and while that isn't the worse thing it could have ended horribly in a different situation. For some reason this had become our regular take out place. This is a very casual place, very simple without any frills. It gives an authentic Asian vibe. We usually order pho and some rice dishes. The pho is very flavorful and the meat is ok, occasionally stringy. With the leftover broth and our own pho and meat we can often get 2-3 more meals out of it. The rice dishes are ok, a bit mid to be honest. The times we eat there the service is fast and quick. The servers are efficient. I give it 3.5 stars round up to 4. I had just reviewed Square Lotus before this. I feel that the pho here is better tasting. But these are two different types of restaurants. Pho Ever is basically like a Vietnamese diner, no frills, whereas Square Lotus is a regular sit down restaurant. Order your pho, get minimal table service, receive pho, add (to taste) bean sprouts, lime, jalapeño, siracha, pay at the front, leave happy and full. That being said, my son got FOOD POISONING from the shrimp fried rice. I did call the dept of health to report it. I also then looked into their health ratings and the score was low. I've came here numerous times, but yesterday was probably my last time going there. I went with my friend we had ordered pho tai(steak pho) while I was eating my soup, my throat was feeling weird, but I continued eating cause I thought the pho was going to help soothe my throat but it just got more irritated. I had finished my water and drank my Thai tea to wash down whatever was making my throat irritated. I found a shrimp shell in my pho, which answered all my questions, I was half way done with my soup when I found it. I lost my appetite cause my throat just wasn't feeling okay, I'm not SEVERELY allergic but I do react to shrimp pretty fast. I had waved down a waiter and told him there was a shrimp shell in my soup which I was feeling allergic reactions from it. Not going to lie thought I was going to at least get my food and drink for free because its just waving huge red flags, they aren't using a separate ladle for their broths. I'm not happy but I am grateful it was me who got that shell and not someone who is severely allergic and would've went into anaphylactic shock from it. Doesn't make me feel like they support people who have allergies towards certain dishes, you'd assume they'd use a system where they're not cross contaminating, to keep their costumers safe and happy! Definitely noping out on this one, and it's not even about the food. Horrible customer service! I honestly don't know why I tipped them $3 in the end. First off, the food. Prior to waiting for seating, it was obvious that the host was paying more attention to carry out and online Doordash orders vs walk in customers. This meant that I had to wait a bit despite 1/2 of the available seats within the venue being available. Ok, no biggie. Yet after being seated, I had to wait,...and wait,...and wait for someone to come by the table to take my order. After which, I order a beer and entree, and the waiter practically throws the beer on the table. Oooooh kay then. My entree arrives, and you don't ever see another waiter again. This is sort of a good thing due to not being bothered, yet when it comes to paying the check? Welp, you'll have to walk up to the front and wait,...and wait,...and wait until someone decides to stop paying attention to the online/carry out orders and cash you out promptly. And then the guy wants to charge me for three beers when it was obvious from the lone empty beer bottle next to my empty bowl that I only consumed one??? C'mon man. If this is one of Bellevue's best, this location surely didn't show it. Just another common Pho place to be that was certainly disappointing, and not worth the $22.95 + tip. I spent $19 on a pork and egg roll vermicelli dish that didn't have vegetables only cucumber and jicama. In addition, the sprouts were bitter because they were old. The dish came with enough pork, but only one egg roll most places give you at least two pieces cut in half for that price. I was expecting more. I will not be coming back here. The staff was very rude, and not attentive. I noticed them using gloves for everything they did such as sweeping the floor and then serving food so I didn't know if the gloves were clean or not. Gloves should be removed after a task, then after washing hands don clean gloves , but I did not see that. Instead, they left their gray gloves on from task to task. For example, when I went to pay, the employee was cleaning chopsticks with napkins. She walked over took my credit card and tapped the payment screen, but never changed her gloves after she just went back to the task she was doing. I don't know what their restaurant Inspection grade is, but for this reason, it should be not be good. read more

This restaurant is located up the hill from downtown Bellevue, and parking is kinda tight. Be careful when you back in and out while trying to park. Staff are nice and quick to serve customers. Food is out within minutes. Tasting passes for good lunch or dinner. Bellevue is just popping right now with all the constructions and cute construction working men (bwahahahahahaha - just kidding). But really though. Bellevue is full of constructions currently because Amazon is transitioning over and more demos are happening to older buildings. Don't be surprised if you see bunch of construction workers sitting in there! Glad to see things are starting to be back to normalcy. This, along with the place in Redmond, is probably our favorite Pho place in the area. It's cheap, fast, and the food is great. Pho is solid and so are the bahn mi. It's a great deal for the price. I highly recommend both the pho (vegetarian and beef) and the bahn mi (chicken and tofu). Haven't tried anything else so can't speak to that. They had a good system going during the COVID crisis. This was before dine-in became a thing. They were super busy with all of the take-out orders and still got our order done really quickly.
