Solid four stars. The soup actually took much longer than normal places, which is fine. It's a cute restaurant. The broth was maybe just less sweet less flavorful than expected. I had the beef ribs and it was pretty good. My Daughter had the rare steak and the steak wasn't as high-quality as other places, but the noodles were good.

This is some of the best pho I've ever had. Rivals the pho I had in San Jose, CA in Little Saigon. The meat balls in the pho are literally perfect. I want to drown in their broth when I die. Service is super friendly and nice. The atmosphere is so cozy and fun. And there are so many bars near here if you'd wanna bar hop after. I cannot count how many times we've been back and they're my go-tp on DoorDash when I'm feeling sick :') My favorite soup/noodle dish is their pho with just meatballs. Their meatballs are perfect. My husband loves their lemongrass beef banh mi!

Spicy bone marrow special 5/5 Vermicelli Lemongrass Beef 4/5 Came here on accident because my friend misheard the restaurant name but this place is overall a plesant surprise. The Vermicelli bowl was good though not the memorable but the spicy bone marrow special was absolutely amazing. It came out sizzling and is actually pretty spicy. The restaurant itself looks very modern and clean. However, the only down side is that the parking is an absolute pain in the area. There is only a couple parking spots in front of the store, which is nowhere near enough for the number of restaurants in the area. I ended up having to park on the street 3-4 blocks away.

Came in on a Wednesday night. Food 4.5/5: ordered a large pho and their pork spring roll. Really enjoyed the spring roll, pho was good but fairly average in houston Ambiance 2.5/5: very rustic feel which has it's own charm but perhaps too rustic, feels a little rundown. Also docked points for parking situation. Service 4/5: friendly, polite. Utensils, water and condiments are self serve. Value 4/5: 16$ for a large bowl of pho and 8$ for the spring rolls. Fairly average for pho but pho tends to be pretty good value as far as food goes. Overall 3.8: good food at a decent price. Very casual, self service Parking: small parking lot that was packed, paid parking next door for 7$ or street parking that is really hard to find.

Food - I love the pho here, the broth is light and delicious! I've tried almost all the pho in the loop and I have to say this might be my favorite broth so far. The beef rib was also so tender! The flavor and texture / quality noodles were ok I think they could be better. The combo rolls we're OK I think the spring roll was better than the fried roll but they could change up the ratio of the Content a little bit. Service - casual order up front Ambiance - casual Parking - the parking here is really terrible. There's almost always, no parking. I wish they could plan for a better parking spot for the customers.

For the price it was good! I've definitely had more flavorful pho at a different place but the bowl itself was around 13 dollars for a decent amount. The place had a decent amount of seating at around 40 people. Food was in and out fast.

This may have been my 1st time trying Pho Binh but it will not be my last. Met a friend at this restaurant and after looking at the menu i had no idea what I wanted due to all the options looked amazing so I allowed the waitress to pick for me. She mentioned her favorite dish is the P12. Chicken with Soup on The Side & i can totally understand why she loves it. I ate the entire bowl. The broth comes on the side so you have to mix it together but this was a MUST TRY dish. Then we had the egg rolls and they were fried perfectly with then light sauce. Amazing. Lastly the dumplings were good. I didn't know if i wanted steamed or fried so they mentioned i could get 1/2 fried and 1/2 steamed. Steamed is good but the fried dumplings are amazing.

Outstanding atmosphere, delicious food, and AWESOME service . Ruby and the rest of the staff make you feel right at home. The food is absolutely scrumptious and satisfying.

The pho here is fantastic! Ambiance: it's a nice and unique spot, very chill. There's different kinds of tables and chairs. Food: the P3 bowl is my absolute favorite, the brisket and steak are amazing, the broth is flavorful, and the noodles are perfectly cooked. This is very lean meat which I love, if you like lean beef in your pho this is an amazing choice. The dumplings here aren't my favorite, I will say that the fried dumplings are better than the steamed ones. Service: They are always kind and fast which is appreciated. Parking: parking here is honestly a gamble. There's very few spots and street parking is complicated (lots of rules and parts you can't park on). Beware of this during busy times.

Pho ever! So was trying to do a delivery but forgot to click the button so had a pick up. Very close, less than 5 minutes so wasn't too worried about the drive time. It was roughly 5ish on a weekday so it wasn't busy. There seemed to be a few online orders and it took an additional 20 min wait time even tho I got notice that my order was ready way before I arrived. I think maybe they were waiting on the dumplings and focusing on the pho orders. The inside is cute and fits in with the Heights. Very aesthetic. The parking is trash but it is on White Oak. Street parking. Ordered pho with lean steak and meatballs, fried dumplings ( x 2 - b1g1free) and 2 Thai ice teas (b1g1free). Got home within 6-7 min of leaving and the soup was not even hot. Heated it up to get the lean steak cooked a bit and the flavor was nice. The beef broth wasn't as deep and meaty as other spots but it fixed my craving well enough. The fried dumplings were ok and Thai tea was standard. The amount of food with the special offers was a win. I'm not against returning and possibly eating there to get the full effect.

Excellent spot in Houston. Very nice ambiance but know that you order at counter and they bring food to the table. It's still has the vibe of a sit down fancy spot. The spring rolls were amazing D was the pho. Would be regular here if I lived in Houston

Egg rolls are yummy

We've been here a few times as it is a short walk from us & enjoy their food! The only thing that gets us is that they are very stingy with the chili oil for some reason?? Every time we've gone & asked for more, they will hesitate to give us a few small containers. We found it odd as in other Pho spots we go to, they have the chili oil on the table for you lol. So for us, as we are big spicy lovers, it's disappointing but other than that it is a solid place. A bit pricey but I think that is normal for the area Wish they'd have a seafood option as well!

I'm giving 4 stars because I like the mixed veggie and the service so much. This is a really chill, typical Viet restaurant ~ I really appreciate the pictures on the menus and the amount of vegetarian/ pescatarian options! They also had a ton of juice and frozen non alcoholic options which I think is awesome. Last ~ the service was great very nice people work there.

Parking suggestions? I never get lucky and always go else where lol

Is the pho gluten-free? Including the broth?

Rice noodles are naturally gluten free, because rice is gluten free. As long as they are truly using rice noodles. You are good.

Are dogs allowed on the porch?

Yes, dogs are allowed on the patio/outdoor seating area

The filling is placed in a pan and then a thin layer of batter made with tumeric and coconut milk yellow batter is poured on top. You wrap the lettuce around the bánh xèo/bánh khọt and dip it in the fish sauce. I got the bánh khọt and the bò né. Bánh khọt is like a mini, thicker version of bánh xèo and came with nine pieces. Their bánh khọt was crispy, sweet and savory, and went well with the fish sauce. Although the portions initally look small, they are very filling. The bò né was filling and sizzling when it came out. It also came with a side of salad. The meat was tender. I really liked the bánh khọt and would definitely come back for them. It's nice having an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in our area, close to us, so we don't have to make the trek to Bellaire every time we crave some Viet food!

I couldn't have been more wrong. Xeo Yum (#1) as it turns out is one of the most legit Vietnamese places in Midtown serving up some of the city's best banh xeo and banh khot. Located inside of a Food Hall (#2) in the back corner, they have low-key become a destination and without question, the most popular stall in the entire place. The fan base didn't happen overnight but is a direct result of Chef Cuong Nguyen's commitment to quality Vietnamese fare. Banh Xeo is their signature item, which is also known as a sizzling crepe or pancake made of rice flour, tumeric, and coconut milk. The banh xeo holds well, is perfectly crispy, and is nicely stuffed with an assortment of beans sprouts, shrimp, and some of the best grilled pork belly I've had. Another specialty item that doesn't get enough mention is their banh khot, which is similar but has a mini muffin / cupcake like appearance made in a specialty cast iron mold. This version is wonderfully crispy and pairs perfectly with fresh greens and fish sauce with some funk. It is my favorite item here. Some have argued they also serve one of the best bo ne (#3), the Vietnamese version of steak and eggs served in a skillet. The chunks of beef are nice and tender with just a tad of char, served with two fried eggs, and a banh mi baguette with a mix of butter and spare. Normally I think of spam or sausage included with the meats, but Chef Cuong's spin is with cherry tomatoes. It's a different approach and I'm not mad at it. Folks not looking for this can shoot for bo luc lac, aka shaking beef, which is also recommended. The staff here is sweet, hard-working, and very friendly. They also make a mean Vietnamese coffee and offer free iced self-serve water. The prices are what I would expect in a Midtown food hall, and there's plenty of seating. Anyone checking out the food hall need to make Xeo Yum as part of their eating itinerary. __________ (#1) A play on the Vietnamese sizzling crepe, Banh "xeo" and yum" (#2) Previously the Conservatory and now Stestí Food Hall. (#3) Boh-Neh. Not bone.

When I arrived there was nobody dining in the restaurant, that was a bit worrying, but I figured it was a bit early for the dinner crowd and late for the lunch crowd. Food & Drink - 4.5* First up was the noodles, I enjoyed them, but I wouldn't say the hype I'd heard about from some others was there. They had nice flavor, but there just wasn't anything "special." 3.5* Then it was on to the crawfish, and my oh my. Superb, the flavor is delicious and unique. This more than made up for the noodles dish. The potato and corn was good too. Service - 5* Solid. When I first arrived the owner was quietly reading a newspaper and eating his own lunch. He paused to greet me and advised that I could sit anywhere. He provided water and adequate time to determine what I wanted to order. The food came out quickly and he checked in a few times to make sure everything was ok. As time went by, the crowd of folks showing up increased quite a bit and he still managed to check in on tables consistently. Pricing - 4* This is where it was odd. Always subjective but I found the noodles to be overpriced for not only the size but what I felt was a pretty simple dish. The crawfish on the other hand was priced very competitively and made up for the overpriced noodles. I provided pics of the menu for someone to make their own assessment but in general I thought many of the dishes were pricier than they probably should be. I know inflation is certainly killing many businesses and consumers but even these felt a bit off. Overall - 4.5* This is definitely going to be one of my go tos for crawfish when in the area. The flavor is fantastic, the pricing is good, the size of them were solid. There are a couple of other dishes I may try on the next visit. The restaurant is clean, the owner is very nice, and it's a nice low key space to just enjoy a good meal with friends or family.
