This place was a real treat. First, the employees are so hardworking. They crushed the lunch rush, very kind, organized, positive & attentive. Refreshingly great service. I had the grilled pork platter with rice along with a side bowl of just broth. Happy place isn't the phrase. Located in bravery chef hall. Me and my husband pulled up a seat and they immediately acknowledged us an took our order. We got the pork banh mi combo which comes with 2 egg rolls and a soda and we got the combination pho. The banh sandwich was actually really good. The pork was delicious, juicy and well seasoned. My husband did complain that it wasn't enough vegetables for him, but I enjoyed the banh mi overall. The egg rolls were okay, I had to ask for fish sauce because they didn't automatically give it to us. Pho was okay too, but that meatball? One of the best meatballs I've tried in pho! Overall banh mi was the star of the show for me personally. Question is would I come back? The restaurant itself is located in a food hall. The vibe is casual chill. The only thing holding them back from a 5 was the service. The place is very small and it took them a minute to acknowledge us. I was visiting Houston for the weekend and I looked up pho restaurants nearby my hotel which was on Main Street downtown Houston. Drubken Pho was the closest so we walked here and checked it out. At first we couldn't find it becuase it was located inside a food court! Once we found it we were good to go. The staff was nice and very accommodating. They took our order right away. My friend had the bahn mi sandwich and I had the meatball pho and we shared shrimp spring rolls. Our food came fast and it was all fire! The spring rolls were very fresh and the pho broth was very tasty, I love to eat my pho with no condiments in the beggining just to taste its original flavors then halfway through I add condiments. We came in with high expectations 2/7/2025. Maybe that's our fault? We were looking for a new pho place and this showed up on our map. We got there and noticed 2 other customers. No one ordered the pho. Didn't think about that until afterwards. One gentleman who took our order was nice. Welcomes us and we sat down. Ordered two pho, Spring roll, and 1 banh mi to share. We noticed 1 individual handling and cutting meat. Yes she's wearing glove. But she has a bracelet that just dangles all the way out. It rubs unto everything.... uncooked meats she's cutting.... omg... I try to look the other way..... we get our pho... not what I expected at all.... it was just onion water..... no broth. No other flavor but onion and water... now I'm no chef but pho is supposed to have at least other flavors and spices... disgusting. No matter how much sauce or even fish sauce we add... no hope. We then get our spring rolls.. mediocre... the banh mi came and was only decent thing to eat. (Customers there only ordered the sandwich. I see why now... After all that said and done.... the damage for just usn2 was $61 dollars. Wtf... so ya. We won't be returning here. read more

This place seems to have reopened inside Bravery Chef Hall downtown. I have to say, the pho is mediocre, even after letting the meat and the veggies stew in it for a while, and I vastly preferred the flavor and the prices of the other two pho restaurants that used to be in walking distance from here. The service is extremely friendly, everything is very clean, and the pho isn't bad or anything. It's just bland, and it tastes TOO thin and watery, which decreases the overall flavor. There is an option to add bone marrow for an additional five dollars. While adding marrow does increase the richness of the soup (I have ordered pho with added marrow many places before), when the flavor of the broth itself is weak, there's not much point in bolstering the consistency. Plus adding the marrow would make one single bowl of soup cost 20 bucks after tax and tip. Oh, you want a drink too? Get ready to shell out between three to five bucks for a soft drink. If you want alcohol, expect to pony up another ten bucks at the bar out back for one single drink - and that's assuming you hit happy hour. If you want mediocre food in exchange for pretentious ambiance and questionable prices, sure. Go for it. It's mediocre beef broth, not anything bad, and it'll be fine if you're not really into soup too much in the first place. But if you've never had real, good pho before, don't let this place be your first experience. read more

Drunken Pho has really good broth, and the ingredients are always fresh and tasty. The meat in the brisket is very good quality, and just a bunch of fat and gristle like some other Pho places. The spring roll and egg rolls are tasty as well. The owners are nice and friendly, and if you are looking for a small business to support, this is the place. I highly recommend them.
