This place served our food very quickly, and had plenty of seating inside. The veggie and tofu pho was super tasty, with a little spice in the background. It was probably the best veggie broth I've had at a pho place! They gave plenty of veggies, including basil and saw herb. My friend had a veggie rice noodle bowl (bun) and she really liked it. Prices were about $9-10 each. The only negative is that the rags they used to wipe the tables had a sour smell. I have a sensitive nose, though, so most people probably wouldn't notice that. I recommend they use Stinky Towel Cleaner from Amazon to take care of that issue. I'd probably deduct half a star for that. Otherwise, they were great. read more

This is my go-to pho place. Always super fast at getting my order complete. Their veggies are fresh and their egg rolls are crispy. Love it!

Had to try this place considering the reviews, and it was totally worth it to drive out of my way. The pho here is fantastic, especially the filet mignon one (so tender and delicious). The portions are huge, and they don't skimp on the meat. I barely eat noodles (even though theirs were some of my favorites I've had), and I was full on just the medium filet mignon meat, plus an extra side of tendon. Would totally come back! read more

In my mind, this place is still pretty much the gold standard for Pho. I took someone there last week who had not had Pho in years, and was looking forward to it. Pho 95 definitely did not disappoint. Despite it being a fairly busy lunch crowd, we were able to find nearby parking and get a table. Although the price was on the high end, what we ordered tasted amazing. It was the PHO 95 SPECIAL- TAI FILET MIGNON DAC BIET. This is Pho - Rice Noodle Soup, with Filet Mignon, Brisket & Flank. As a "Rare Steak and Meatball" guy, I seldom stray from these tried and true offerings. But, let me tell you bruddah, the Filet Mignon was melt in your mouth tender and the whole package exuded major beefy goodness. The veggies, as expected, were nice, fresh, and abundant. The broth, as always, is what makes or breaks most of these type of dishes. And, this one was outstanding in its flavor. The service was mostly good, despite a fairly large gap in visits towards the end. If you love Pho, and are looking for a sure thing, this is the place to go. Everything in downtown Denver that I have tried have been less then stellar. This place was amazing. Pho 95 staff was incredibly polite and the food was delicious. Arrived around 7pm on a weekday night to a busy place, about 80% full. Ended up with a beer and a medium pho, which was delicious! Hot broth, tasty and perfect with the spices provided. Please note that this place is super busy. No reservation, and not even putting your name down. You come in, wait in a tiny lobby room maybe 8 feet by 8 feet until your turn to be seated. My friend and I try to come one night Close to Closing, and then the waiter came out and told us they had ran out of pho for the rest of the night. So we come the next day and finally get a seat. We order #8 Pho rare steak with tendon and I order the combination vermicelli rice noodle bowl. Coming from San Jose CA and Westminster SoCal, it's pretty comparable. Sprouts, basil, and leaves fresh and snappy, broth is rich, noodles a nice "al dente" tendon is tender and melty, and steak is properly sliced thin to cook in the hot broth. The place is busy and semi noisy. Looks a little understaffed, as Waiters run around trying to tend to every table. But things seem to get done and they have a system down. Culture shock for me to see more non Asians in this place than not, but maybe I'm a culture noob from west coast. :) Really glad this place exists for the Denver community, and such a comfort to taste something like Home out here. read more

The service sucks (slow and unfriendly) and the food is subpar. The rare steak meat in the Pho was low quality and so were the crab cheese wantons with very little crab cheese in the center. Plus the wantons were overfried and greasy. I personally think Pho Saigon off Arapaho and near I-25 is much better. Plus this place is expensive and not worth the money. So I got takeout from here about a month ago when I was sick and got the vegetarian pho with tofu and veggies. I remember liking and I wanted to try it again. Well this 2nd time I went was pretty disappointing. I had a different color broth this time and found out that the last time they didn't give me vegetarian broth. Thankfully the broth I got this time was good. But they literally gave me like 4 1/2 pieces of tofu and a mountain of vegetables. Tofu is the most affordable protein so they are either ripping people off or were running low on tofu that day and I got the medium size pho - I wonder if they only give 2 1/2 pieces of tofu in the small size. I really liked the broth, but I will be trying another Vietnamese restaurant next time I don't want to make pho at home. read more

Who knew that a Little Saigon in Denver existed? And more surprisingly that one of the city's top eateries was a place called Pho 95. Back in OC, pho restaurants named with a number of some sort are a good bet so using this rule of thumb and a little help from Yelp we checked this place out... And ended up eating here 2 days in a row! My friends (both pho lovers) we're dreaming of the beef pho here after the first visit and so we had to come back. For me, the chicken pho was hearty and I liked how unoily the soup was. The next time I came back I had the grilled shrimp vermicelli which was just okay as though it had a lot of noodles, there was barely any lettuce and it could have used more textured toppings. The price point is a bit higher as I paid $9 for a small bowl of pho, you could easily get the large bowl for $11 and split with 2 people. Also, they do give a lot of meat so that helps! The restaurant is kinda nice looking with a bar and all and a fish tank sitting at the middle. The service, though, could definitely be improved as it took multiple times to ask for water and service as the waiters seemed more attentive to watching the TVs than their customers. Though it's a hike to get here from downtown Denver, it's worth visiting if you crave Asian food and have some free time to kill. I wanted to try this place because they are known for their non-traditional pho such as filet mignon or wagyu beef pho. The special price is indicated under the wagyu option. I got a medium filet mignon pho for $11 while my friends got the wagyu beef! I cannot stress how you need to make sure the waiters get your order right. My friend got the large wagyu and my other friend got the medium wagyu. But they looked completely DIFFERENT. We asked the waiter which one did he give to my friend and he claimed they were the same number. So I said "what number is it then?" He immediately panicked because he clearly didn't know what number he just gave to us. So he asked the waiter that took our order and he wrote down exactly what we wanted. It was just the waiter who gave us our food was completely confused and gave us whatever. ****double check with them Going on to the pho... I'm pretty sure I got the wagyu during that mix up because mine looked exactly like my friend's large wagyu pho. The meat was pretty tender! Speaking of the meat, they give you LARGE PORTIONS of it. Ok after three different pho place I finally found a good pho place and clean as clean can be for a asian establishment. The service was very good for a Vietnamese place. That is a highest compliment. They have pickle onions and thick cuts of scallions in hot broth on the side. I just asked for extra lime for my rare beef on the side. They gave me a shit load and they know how to cut it as well so you can squeeze the lime versus other places cut right through the center core and you can't squeeze it. The pho broth was on point. It doesn't have any pho ingredient that overpowering each other. It was a right amount of blend versus other places they put some ingredient more than the other so it's more pronounce and overbearing. I am Vietnamese I cook the pho at home I know this. I just don't understand all the rave reviews at other places that wasn't good and it all comes from any other nationality but Vietnamese. A lot of reviews are a dime a dozen and bought and paid for read between the lines or not let you tell you if it's real or bot or fake or from somebody that just don't know. That's why I don't go around and review hamburger or fried chicken joints. Pay attention to how I order because that's how you supposed to eat it. Any rating less than 5 stars should be taken with a grain of salt - those people clearly have some personal issue with the restaurant or maybe had slow service for the day. Pro tip - order your food to go. My man and I always split the large filet mignon special and request extra broth and extra noodles (maybe $2 each?) and it's enough food for us to BOTH have two massive servings. Plus the tofu spring rolls with peanut sauce. It's all so freaking good and the ultimate hangover cure. Everything is packaged separately so you can build your bowl (we like to also reheat it so it's piping hot, even though we live a few mins away and it's always still so hot & fresh). Then we can slowly take our time eating our messy pho from the comfort of our couch, watching a movie and smoking. It's the perfect remedy for anything that ails you. This used to be a favorite, but it's been a few years. The pho was good as it's always been, but the servers seemed angry we were there in the first place. It took so long to get our food, and they completely forgot our child's order. When we finally flagged someone down, they tossed cold noodles in a bowl for him. What really sealed the deal for never returning was that when I gave my credit card over, the cashier had his phone camera open and I was genuinely concerned that a photo was taken of my card.
