I like Pho! This was the first time I've had pho since I was little. I had bad memories of it until I went to Pho 95. I always thought about it, and distinctly remember pho tasting like feet smell... weird I know. Well, Pho 95 makes pho that DOES NOT smell/taste of feet. It tastes like delicious noodles and meat in soup. I informed the waiter that my boyfriend and I had no idea what to order because we have never been there before. I ordered the rare steak and brisket (awesome choice/suggestion) The nice girl who was working the cash register came over and explained how to add hoisin sauce and Sriracha to the broth if you want, and how to rip up the basil and cilantro-type greens and put them in your soup. Whew, I'm happy she explained because I was wondering what to do with that big pile of stuff on the table! I got a medium which was WAY too big to finish for one meal... so I got two meals for the price of $6. Wow. I don't know how they turn a profit here since my bowl was so full of meat. They even packaged up the basil for me to take home (seriously the amount of basil they put on the table would cost $5 at the grocery store). P.S. They have dum-dums at the register. read more

The weather was raining, I was exhausted after a day of work and in need of some Pho!!! i went to my trusted Yelpers and they did not dissapoint!!! The best pho EVER!! the broth was amazing:) I also loved how they gave the meat and everything seperately, so the meat did not cook in the broth!! The broth was also scorching HOT!!! SO GOOD!! the ONLY thing I would change, is please give me an extra cup!! The cup was FULL of broth, I had to use those little hotel cups of water to pour broth in them, because when I put the fillings and meat in, it would overflow!! It's been over a week since I ate at pho 95 and I forgot to write my review because...it wasn't very memorable. I had found it on Yelp based on the number of reviews. As soon as my husband and I drove by it, we realized it was a tourist trap among a bunch (and I mean, A BUNCH) of other pho places right on the same street. I read a few more reviews and realized they are mostly from out-of-towners. Now on to the pho, it was alright. Every trip to Denver warrants a trip to some Vietnamese restaurant for some Pho. I had my sights set on Pho 95 - largely because of all of the positive reviews - all of which I would agree with. Thanks Yelpers! The restaurant - which looks like it was built in what used to be a KFC was very nicely renovated, and attractively decorated. The restaurant is on Federal - where, depending on the direction you're coming from has tons of Pho restaurants as well as Mexican taco stands. They do have a private lot for parking, however - this fills up quickly and may have to park on the street. I was worried for a bit, as I was expecting small amounts of meat - however, I was pleasantly surprised by the serving size and portioning. I got the Pho with the Marinated Flank and extra Meatballs - this was excellent. Protein wise, there's not much of a portion difference between a Medium and Large - so If you wanted broth and noodle leftovers - its worth getting the Large. read more

This place served our food very quickly, and had plenty of seating inside. The veggie and tofu pho was super tasty, with a little spice in the background. It was probably the best veggie broth I've had at a pho place! They gave plenty of veggies, including basil and saw herb. My friend had a veggie rice noodle bowl (bun) and she really liked it. Prices were about $9-10 each. The only negative is that the rags they used to wipe the tables had a sour smell. I have a sensitive nose, though, so most people probably wouldn't notice that. I recommend they use Stinky Towel Cleaner from Amazon to take care of that issue. I'd probably deduct half a star for that. Otherwise, they were great. read more

Had to try this place considering the reviews, and it was totally worth it to drive out of my way. The pho here is fantastic, especially the filet mignon one (so tender and delicious). The portions are huge, and they don't skimp on the meat. I barely eat noodles (even though theirs were some of my favorites I've had), and I was full on just the medium filet mignon meat, plus an extra side of tendon. Would totally come back! read more

In my mind, this place is still pretty much the gold standard for Pho. I took someone there last week who had not had Pho in years, and was looking forward to it. Pho 95 definitely did not disappoint. Despite it being a fairly busy lunch crowd, we were able to find nearby parking and get a table. Although the price was on the high end, what we ordered tasted amazing. It was the PHO 95 SPECIAL- TAI FILET MIGNON DAC BIET. This is Pho - Rice Noodle Soup, with Filet Mignon, Brisket & Flank. As a "Rare Steak and Meatball" guy, I seldom stray from these tried and true offerings. But, let me tell you bruddah, the Filet Mignon was melt in your mouth tender and the whole package exuded major beefy goodness. The veggies, as expected, were nice, fresh, and abundant. The broth, as always, is what makes or breaks most of these type of dishes. And, this one was outstanding in its flavor. The service was mostly good, despite a fairly large gap in visits towards the end. If you love Pho, and are looking for a sure thing, this is the place to go. If you have never tried Pho, crawl out from under that rock which hides you, and head on down here. read more

We told the waiter and he was not interested and said that was the style. He also never asked us whether we wanted small, medium or large soup and brought us medium. Not recommended. My only complaint is that service can be a bit slow and even when we ordered online for take away, we had to wait about 40 minutes beyond what the online portal said. I never am looking for pho because all the places where I live are just awful, but... pho 95 has completely changed my opinion on it. Everything in downtown Denver that I have tried have been less then stellar. This place was amazing. Pho 95 staff was incredibly polite and the food was delicious. I loved the rice platter I got and will come back just for that. My girlfriend got the veggie pho and it was perfect. Mango boba was my high light of the meal. It was so tasty!!! read more

Please note that this place is super busy. No reservation, and not even putting your name down. You come in, wait in a tiny lobby room maybe 8 feet by 8 feet until your turn to be seated. My friend and I try to come one night Close to Closing, and then the waiter came out and told us they had ran out of pho for the rest of the night. So we come the next day and finally get a seat. We order #8 Pho rare steak with tendon and I order the combination vermicelli rice noodle bowl. Coming from San Jose CA and Westminster SoCal, it's pretty comparable. Sprouts, basil, and leaves fresh and snappy, broth is rich, noodles a nice "al dente" tendon is tender and melty, and steak is properly sliced thin to cook in the hot broth. The place is busy and semi noisy. Looks a little understaffed, as Waiters run around trying to tend to every table. But things seem to get done and they have a system down. Culture shock for me to see more non Asians in this place than not, but maybe I'm a culture noob from west coast. :) Really glad this place exists for the Denver community, and such a comfort to taste something like Home out here. read more

Ok after three different pho place I finally found a good pho place and clean as clean can be for a asian establishment. The service was very good for a Vietnamese place. That is a highest compliment. They have pickle onions and thick cuts of scallions in hot broth on the side. I just asked for extra lime for my rare beef on the side. They gave me a shit load and they know how to cut it as well so you can squeeze the lime versus other places cut right through the center core and you can't squeeze it. The pho broth was on point. It doesn't have any pho ingredient that overpowering each other. It was a right amount of blend versus other places they put some ingredient more than the other so it's more pronounce and overbearing. I am Vietnamese I cook the pho at home I know this. I just don't understand all the rave reviews at other places that wasn't good and it all comes from any other nationality but Vietnamese. A lot of reviews are a dime a dozen and bought and paid for read between the lines or not let you tell you if it's real or bot or fake or from somebody that just don't know. That's why I don't go around and review hamburger or fried chicken joints. Pay attention to how I order because that's how you supposed to eat it. Any place that don't offer it, is not a real pho place. It's been Americanize. See picture 1&2 so I am not BS. read more
