Fast, filling, fresh pho. This long-time Denver staple is known for their pho, but they also serve up giant bowls of vermicelli and rice. Pure comfort food, and a well-oiled machine. Ambience is cozy and usually there are college and pro sports games displayed on the TV screens inside so you won't miss your team. Or you can watch the fish in the tanks below if sports isn't your thing. It's usually pretty busy around dinner time, but because of how quick the staff move, usually there's at least one table free or about to be vacant. One of the staff members plops down water, utensils, and menus, and seemingly in the time that you've just opened the menu, will ask you for your order. If you're a regular, this is obviously nice, but the menu is pretty extensive and does take some time to digest for first-timers. Standard sauces are located at each table, and once you order a plate of fresh basil, bean sprouts, and limes will appear. If there's a spicy icon next to an item, rest assured that they can make it burn if you really want it to. Besides traditional beef part-pho, they also offer some fancier offerings such as lobster, as well as a vegetarian broth. We tried the lobster and bone marrow (surf and turf) once and probably would not get it again - the lobster was tough and not very flavorful. A small bowl is usually enough for me to be full, maybe a medium if I'm really hungry. A large is doable but you might have to take a few laps around the restaurant in order to finish unless your stomach can hold a liter+ of broth. I'm a fan of their spring rolls, and pho always hits the spot. It's a fairly light broth and not as herb-pungent as I would prefer, but a good base for a variety of tastebuds, if you catch my drift. Vermicelli bowls come with sweet and sour sauce on the side so you can tailor the level of sweet and sour. I do wish there was a little more seasoning on these bowls since the vermicelli was quite plain otherwise. Pay your tab at the bar once you're finished and chat up the owner for a little before waddling out.

I'm so sorry Denver but Pho 95 was just not as amazing as all these reviews make it seem! Came in on a Friday early afternoon and there were plenty of tables available. Clean with a beautiful fish tank in the center. We got the pork and shrimp spring rolls, small combo pho and grilled pork noodle bowl. Over the years I've perfected my pho preferences from both the Bay Area and Central Valley of CA - full of dope and authentic AF Vietnamese spots. The pho broth here just wasn't it. I barely tasted any of the typical aromatic spices and was honestly so sad, it really just tasted like some beef broth. I hope I came on an off day because I left quite unfilled.

I have been coming to this spot consistently for about a year now and the service, atmosphere and food here are fantastic! We are always treated with such kindness when we come in. Our servers see us and know our order right away and put it in before we even sit down because we come here so often. Not only that, but our food always comes out right away even if it's super busy. I would highly recommend this place. Nothing but great things to say! Best pho in town!

Visiting from out of town and was craving Vietnamese food. This hit the spot. Everything was delicious and tasted authentic. The bún thịt nướng was flavorful with a generous portion, and the phở had a rich, aromatic broth with fresh ingredients. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Very casual spot.

Maybe we came in on an off day but our experience with the food was pretty meh. The food didn't really stand out and compared to other pho places we've had in the area, this was pretty mediocre. We ordered the spring rolls, soft shell crab, and the chicken wings and we were disappointed. The only thing that made up for the lack of flavor was the sauces it came with. Our apps were not flavorful at all. The pho was okay. It comes with a lot of meat even if you order the small bowl. But in terms of pho, I've had better in the area (our go to spot just happened to have been closed that day). Other things to consider, the parking lot is kinda small and it was pretty packed when we arrived. Service is friendly and attentive.

This was a pretty good spot to get pho and spring rolls. All of the food tasted amazing and came out pretty quick. The service was not very good and had to waive my waiter down just to get some more water. I'd come back and probably take the food to go next time.

This place looks like it was a fast food restaurant in a past life. I'm not a fan of carpet in restaurants, but it's mostly carpet. The food is excellent. They wrap their egg rolls in rice paper instead of the egg roll wrapper. The pho dac biet with meatballs was excellent. The service was fast and friendly. Definitely eat here.

This is the first place I ate at in Denver and it did not disappoint! There are so many Pho # restaurants on this street alone in Denver, let alone throughout the entire city, so I'm not entirely sure what that's about, but my local friends swear by this place specifically and I can see why! All the food we got was SO delicious! We started with fresh spring rolls, which are always a must at a traditional Vietnamese restaurant! We got the Bi Cuon, which are the fresh spring rolls with seasoned pork skin within them. It wasn't crispy pork skin or anything, it was more shredded like mini-pulled pork bits, but it was super tasty nonetheless! I would just say I wish they put more into these rolls, like a ton of fresh veggies along with the meat and vermicelli noodles. We also got Cua Lot or soft shell crab as an appetizer as well. It comes on a bed of veggies, so you can break off a piece, wrap it in lettuce, and fill it with other veggies to make your own roll with it, making sure to dip it in the sauce as it'll be too bland without it! The crunch from the fried soft shell crab is very delicious and the crab they served us was very meaty and a good amount, so I was pleased with that! For my main, in fact for all of our mains, we got the pan-fried noodles. These are a personal showstopper for me, as I have never had anything like it before! These are not the traditional pan-fried noodles you might be imagining. Instead, it's like multiple lasagna-stacked layers of rice noodles, cut up into significantly thinner rectangles than lasagna. Those are pan-fried, making the outer edges and sides of the cube crispy, and then sauteed with veggies and meat. I got it with chicken (Pho Ap Chao Ga) and my friends got it with beef (Pho Ap Chao Bo Hoac Heo). My friends also got the salty lemonade drink, which they had had recently in SE Asia when they had gone to visit, and it was a delight to see it on the menu here. Another super unique thing that Pho 95 offers that speaks to its authenticity and was super unique! All in all, a very satisfying meal here with leftovers that I ate for breakfast for the two days afterwards as well! Loved it!

This morning, July 5th after the holiday... the foods are terrible... took forever for the foods... broth was not hot, blended, lobster tail is old... eggroll tastes sour... they forgot two order spring rolls, we sat in the parking for 15 minutes to digest the food and yet they not even said anything about the spring rolls... $200 for 6 people

You must be driving west on Alameda to access the parking lot. There is a large sign there. You can enter the market from the main entrance facing Alameda or from the back entrance off the parking lot. The front of the store has a long wall of imported groceries and a bakery counter offering breads, pastries, quiches, fresh sandwiches (on baguette, croissant, or pretzel bun), soups, salads, and a wide variety of imported chips and drinks. There's a huge cheese cooler and lots of chilled, grab-and-go items. A table offers some kitchenware and gifts. A seating area is provided by the parking lot entrance. I'm on the mailing list which has offered a series of food specials and pop-up events. I was enticed in last weekend by a pop-up cassoulet special. I arrived to find a tent at the edge of the parking lot, sheltering a huge propane wok. The white beans, sausage, and pork belly were gently simmering with a wonderful aroma. What a treat!

I went here right after my blood work at a nearby medical facility (LOL! Oh boy, I was hungry as I…read morewas fasting!) A thought of freshly made sandwich sounded so good so before I went in for the blood work, I did a little search on Yelp to find some new sandwich places and this shop is/was one of the suggested ones. As I am always looking for a new business to try (this store was also up the street from where I would be for the medical appointment), I wasted no time to rush to this new deli to check it out. As of early September 2025, there are only several reviews posted for them; this is an indication that this business had just opened. Based on what those people said, it sounded like a solid business. The store is on the northeast corner of Downing and Alameda. Although this is not a super big intersection, it sure is a busy one. And yet, its exterior appearance (they have two doors: one facing Alameda and the other facing the parking lot) is somewhat inconspicuous or unassuming (it could be good and bad at the same time.) Had I driven by it, I would only notice the Italian restaurant (Olivia) on one corner or Starbucks (on the other corner). Hopefully they are getting much needed attention from people that pass by it. I entered the store using the door facing the parking lot. This is where you will see the seating area. And to get to the rest of it, you will pass the register on the right. Once you make that left turn you will see more stuff that this store offers. Most of the grocery items are on the left side along the wall. Then there is the fantastic-looking cheese room to the right. The deli counter is at the end where the workers will make your sandwich. There is also a showcase where they display some sweet stuff/cakes (they looked pretty good by the way.) This is quite the space (so if you look down from the top/ceiling (not that you can do that), this store is L shaped.) One of the workers (a lady who was at the register) cheerfully greeted me. I already knew what I wanted (as I peeked their sandwich menu ahead of time). It appears to be a limited time item and it's called "The Saint Tropez". Simply put, this is a tuna salad sandwich on a freshly baked French baguette. As the little info sheet at the register says, this is a light, cold summer offering that is perfect for warm weather cravings. I simply couldn't think of anything else so without doing anything further, I immediately asked for this summer sandwich. The price is $15.99 (and after tax, it's $17 with some change. Not necessarily super reasonable (I thought) but I was more focused on the quality of it.) While the lady was making my sandwich, I looked around the store to take some photos. I spotted some interesting European grocery items that we don't normally see at our local grocery chain but I was most impressed with the refrigerated cheese room. I don't eat a lot of cheese anymore and yet, this store's selection is quite large where if you are needing some cheeses for your next gathering (holidays etc.) then you might consider this place to find some interesting kind(s). It didn't take long for the lady to make my sandwich. As I came out of the beautiful cheese room, she handed me a long/skinny sandwich that was wrapped in a white butcher paper. As soon as I got to my car, I immediately started devouring my sandwich. And it did not disappoint. The crispy French baguette was most delicious and was picture-worthy looking. The tuna salad (house made) wasn't overloaded with mayo-type marinade/sauce. Some slices of tomatoes, plenty of arugula, and noticeable amount of hard boiled egg slices. It was cut in half in the middle but I didn't take any break between the halves (told you, I was hungry after fasting for hours!!) This is a nice deli to have within our reach. I bet on a beautiful weekend, they get a good amount of foot traffic because people can stop by here to grab a delicious sandwich and go to Wash Park for a little picnic. Sounds like a great idea to me!

There's no performance here, no hospitality theater, no one asking how the first few bites are treating you. You walk up to the counter, you order, you take a number, you sit down. The food does the talking. And the food has a lot to say. I went on a bright Wednesday morning with a couple of friends and ordered the classic breakfast, swapping bacon for pastrami (a first for me) with an everything biscuit on the side (also a first). Both were revelations. The eggs over-hard might be the best version of that order I've ever gotten from a restaurant -- just a whisper of uncooked yolk in the center, perfectly seared on both sides. Skillet potatoes were spot-on. The skillet pastrami was rich and properly crisped at the edges. And the two generous slices of sourdough arrived with a scratch-made blueberry jam that I ended up smearing on everything I could -- sourdough, biscuit, probably would've eaten it with a spoon if no one was looking. My friend ordered the breakfast sandwich, which clearly belongs in the staples category. The baguette was the star: toasted outside, pillow-soft inside, zero tug-of-war with your teeth. That detail alone tells you the kitchen cares. This is the Ron Swanson part: there's an unapologetic confidence to this place. They know exactly what they're doing, they're not trying to oversell it, and they're not interested in charming you into liking it. They're just going to hand you something excellent and trust you to figure out the rest. The coffee was good. The food was setting-a-benchmark good. A real 5 out of 5 stars, no pickin nits. Mild observation, not a complaint: the service is counter-only, no traditional table service. Would Matthew McConaughey or Reese Witherspoon dropping plates off elevate the experience? Sure. But Ron wouldn't have it any other way, and honestly, neither would I after eating here. If I lived within 45 minutes of downtown Denver, this would be my destination breakfast. As it is, I'm a 12 hour drive away, and if it were only 11, perhaps I'd go tomorrow. The real downside? The food was so good I completely forgot to take a picture.
