I go just for the viet sandwiches and coffee, the baguettes are actual baguette baguettes lol skinny, moist, chewy, crisp - not like the banh mi banh mi sandwiches I'm used to that are light, airy, fluffy, and crisp with crumbs falling everywhere. I got the #5 grilled pork which had lots of flavor, perfect balance of meat and veggies! I usually ask for extra veggies but not this time. My coffee was filled to the top of the lid, that was nice to see. The sandwich was fresh and hot when I received it and the customer service was good. The Euro sandwiches don't seem very appetizing for me visually so I don't even want to try them. When they're slow, I guess they close earlier than the time listed online.

I've had Lee's in California and they were just okay so I already knew what to expect and it's true, it's just okay. We have ordered several items from banh mi to pate chaud to the steamed buns and everything was just okay. They're not terrible but not the greatest. Everything was edible and decently good - this is a better option than a subway sandwich. However, there are other banh mi options that I like better. But this is one of the only banh mi places I have been to with a drive through so if that's important to you, this is the place to go. Also the sandwich is longer than other banh mi places I have been to. Price wise, they're all the same. Unlike other locations, the staff does not necessarily speak Vietnamese. The owner that packs our banh mi does speak Vietnamese but the employees up front do not necessarily know how.

Yay! Feels like I'm back in the Bay Area. Lee's Sandwiches is officially open in Denver of course, you can't go wrong with the banh mi (Asian sandwiches) -- my personal fave are #1 Lee's Combination and #11! Also, IYKYK -- the Ca Phe Sua Da or Vietnamese coffee is a must. It's like crack coffee, literally keeping you up with a jolt of caffeine goodness. They even have bottle sized of the cafe lattes, triple shot, and Thai tea to go. You can buy a lot of stuff in this store (patês, coffee creams, baguettes, coffee beans, pastries and more)

First of all, I love that Lee's is open until 9 PM and has a drive-through! Super great option for evening eats. I'm familiar with Lee's from trips to the San Gabriel Valley, where there is a Lee's on every corner. I'm super stoked there's a location in Denver and we finally got a chance to try last night. We went through the drive-through, around 8:40. The person at the window was super friendly and took our order promptly. We ordered shrimp and pork eggrolls, a grilled chicken banh mi, and a grilled pork banh mi. Egg rolls were $6.49 for 5 pieces and sandwiches were $7.99 each. I read other reviews complaining about the prices, but I feel like the prices were very reasonable for banh mi in Denver, especially considering it's 2023 and everything has gone up. Food is just more expensive in Denver compared to California. On the way home, we devoured the hot and crispy egg rolls which were made fresh to order. They were delicious! Each eggroll had a full piece of shrimp, instead of minced shrimp, mixed with the pork. Yum! Our sandwiches were very good and packed full of veggies, including raw onion. The baguette was crispy and had a alluring butter/mayo spread on the bottom. It was so good! I could eat a baguette with that spread for every meal, no lie! Regarding coffee- I'm a huge coffee person. Folks rave about the cafe sua da (Vietnamese coffee) but I personally find their pre-mix overly sweet. I think you gotta try it at least once to figure out your taste preference, but I personally opt for a black iced coffee. It's great taste and quality! They use the "good ice", which is the ice pellets, like Sonic. Vietnamese coffee is always dark French roast, so expect a strong coffee flavor. This is more of a spot to grab and go. This would be a great spot to grab some sandwiches before a hike or a road trip! On a nice day, you could grab some sandwiches and eat at a nearby park. 10/10, I'll definitely be back!

We waited a whole year for this place to open since we saw the signs a long time ago but didn't see anything about it online and happened to find out their grand opening was on the 18th. We went pretty early and they gave out gifts for the first 200 people. They were giving samples of their famous viet iced coffee which was nice since we woke up early for this. There were a lot of people and it was very cold outside. The shop itself is pretty small but you're able to see them shape the bread and the sandwiches are made to order. They have a huge variety and lots of baked goods. This location looked like it had a lot more than some of the ones I've seen in California. I've been trying to find a good place for banh mi as well but this one is more pricey than what I'm used to. We ordered the #11 special combo and #6 bbq pork banh mi ($7.99 each) along with 2 large hot viet coffees ($5.95 each). We were satisfied but would probably go back to try some of their other things whenever we're in the area. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting to try an authentic banh mi and viet coffee!

A busy and cute drive-thru concept of Lee's. It was good we got there early cause it got pretty busy fast. The Inside was clean and the staff was great! We met the owner, Vu and he was kind and efficient. He made sure we had everything we needed for our large order. The first sandwich itself was delicious and each ingredient was proportioned well. Only thing we forgot was to ask for pate in our Vietnamese opla/egg breakfast sandwich so make sure to ask that if you like Pate! But the bread was fresh, warm and perfectly baked crisp on the outside. A wonderful breakfast/lunch/dinner :D I also got the Avocado smoothie and they put real avocado in it which was yummy to drink!

Such a bummer- the long wait is over but alas, not worth the candle burned. Lee's Denver is NOT AT ALL like Lee's in Orange County, CA! The bread here was spongy, chewy and dry. The meat was sparse and not very flavorful, and finally, there was no butter or pate on the one that should have had both- in all, the 2 Bahn mi we ordered were expensive and quite mediocre- the only item remotely reminiscent was the cafe sửa da.

This place used to be my go to for bánh mì's until my most recent few visits. The amount of mayonnaise is overwhelming, portion of meat is almost non existent and each bánh mì gets like... 5 pieces of carrots. Unfortunately I probably won't be back

I personally have been a huge fan of this Vietnamese sandwich (bahn mi) store chain for years. My extended family is from NorCal and I colleged in SoCal where we are these sandwiches frequently. And the flavor did not disappoint. I got the combination with extra pate and the flavors were amazing. Yes, the sandwiches are smaller than what the average american expects but the flavor was there. The ambiance feels very fast food-chain store but I love it for what it is. The service was fairly good although I'm pretty sure the staff are still learning what is in each sandwich, which is normal for a new place. We also got the coffee which is much better than the prepackaged version. We also got the Thai tea which was extremely concentrated so let the ice melt before drinking too much, too sweet otherwise! Can't wait to make this place a staple on my food rotation.

Needed an afternoon pick me up and the Vietnamese coffee at Lee's is legit! Lee's offers a drive thru if your not wanting to go through the hassle of getting out of the car, woohoo!

Outside drive thru menu. This used to be a dairy Queen. There are two small tables that seat 2 a piece inside and larger outdoor tables with umbrellas.

$9 for this skimpy banh mi?!

I don't throw around the word "franchise" lightly. But I walked out of Mango Mango Dessert on Colorado Blvd genuinely researching whether I could open one in centennial or south area. That should tell you everything. The crepe cake is what got me. Thin crepe after thin crepe, stacked with cream, and somehow light enough that you don't feel like a monster for finishing it. We also grabbed some to bring home... which lasted about 20 minutes if I'm being honest. Perfect end of night dessert. Here is the thing though... this place doesn't feel like it was built for an American audience. It feels like someone picked it up directly from Asia and just set it down on Colorado Blvd, completely intact. The flavors, the presentation, the whole experience... it's the real deal. Not a watered down approximation of what Americans think Asian dessert tastes like. The actual thing. Now the lines. They are long. At all hours. And the answer is yes... people just love it this much. A line that long is usually trying to tell you something. Go. Just bring a bag if patience.

I came in just to get the Vietnamese coffee and when I asked the older lady and she acknowledged with "Yes", I was just glad the had it. Gave her $7 and she gave me back some changes. I think the Viet coffee was about $6.50 She blended some of the ice and served in a nice over sized container with a lid and cheap plastic straws. It was still very concentrated and after I took a sip, had to fill with some water. It was strong, very flavorful and definitely it was prepared ahead of time. They also served other entries and also bahn mi but did not know how good it is or the pricing. My only gripe is for a cà phê đá was kinda pricy. Around $5.50 should be the nominal pricing for any coffee drinks for that small size. Its not like I ordered venti size at Starbucks. After looking at the review, I believe the lady charged me for 24 oz smoothie price for about 12 oz size of coffee. Oh well, that's my fault for not correcting the mistake or asking for price before ordering it.

When I walked in, I had walked into the restaurant side and was super confused. The cafe is right next door, almost looked closed with the metal fence gate thing and all. I got the standard Che ba mau, and like someone else mentioned, it's a little too sweet. If it is at all possible, I would have asked for a little less sweetener or waited for the ice to melt to eat. The lady working there was nice and explained what the toppings used in the different Che were. A little pricey for what it is, but always happy to support a small business. Since the March Madness basketball games were on, we sat for a little bit and watched. There's tables and chairs and also a few recliners. If they usually put games on, would be a nice place to sit with a snack or drink and watch or chat with friends.
