Dan Da is one of the few places that's gotten me to branch out, and I'm glad I did. The Bún Chả Hà Nội was probably my favorite. Putting everything together yourself made every bite a little different, and the pork was so flavorful. I also really enjoyed the coconut curry claypot with shrimp. It was rich and comforting without feeling too heavy. The shaken beef was cooked well, and the shrimp and crab mini rolls disappeared pretty quickly. I like that the menu has dishes you don't see everywhere. It makes coming here feel a little different from your average Vietnamese restaurant. The food is on the pricey side but for the portions and the fact they open so late, not a bad option! Tasted good. Wish the oxtail fell apart a bit more though. Also got their Vietnamese coffee. Pretty standard, although mine was a bit more bitter than to my liking. This place definitely gives Asian diner vibes. Will come back again when I want a late night spot in Denver!
