I typically order the P10, which is the chicken pho, and it never disappoints. The broth is flavorful, the chicken is tender, and everything just blends together perfectly. One of my favorite parts is customizing it by adding the fresh vegetables they provide on the side, along with a mix of sauces from the table especially the hoisin and sriracha. The dining room is spacious with lots of seating and take out service is pretty quick. Pricing is fair and reasonable. Food quality and flavors are just not consistent. Lots of parking and conveniently located near Chambers and Alameda. Picked up take out after 8p. Staff was super friendly and I was in and out in 5 minutes. I ordered the egg roll appetizer thinking I got the pork ones 14 A, but I accidentally ordered 14 D, the vegetarian. They were ok. Not my favorite and ended up tossing it. The inside of the egg rolls were mushy and it did not taste that appealing. It's my fault for not ordering the pork ones. The pho at this place is ok too. In the past pre covid I've ordered dine in and enjoyed my pho meal. During Covid take out and recent take out experiences and it's not the same experience. This restaurant has the practice of charging extra fees. Our family consists of 2 adults and 3 children. The waiter automatically collected 5 yuan as a tip from me. However, they still insisted that we should give a tip! As consumers, we were not aware that the waiter had already received the tip and then asked us to give another one! I think the waiter should at least inform us that they have forcibly collected the tip, instead of collecting it and then asking us to pay it again! I've come here so many times and only today did I discover that this is the way they charge! We even suspect that the waiters are taking double tips every time without the guests being aware of it! They're a bit busy so be ready to wait a few minutes for a table to open up. The service is fast and the food comes out pretty quickly as well. The beer, pork, and chicken were grilled to perfection and were even better after I drenched them in the fish sauce. The rice and veggies of course made the meal feel balanced. This platter is definitely large enough for 2 to the share or enough to make you take a nap afterwards. The price is also reasonable at just around $10. I confirmed it this time we did take out. We ordered the same thing, a large combo with beef broth and a giant meatball beef broth. The portions are tiny and lack ingredients. I've been here a couple of times now and their pho is pretty on point. As always I admire great customer service and when ever I can get a waiter without flagging my hand its ALWAYS a THUMBS UP . I got the Bun Bo Hue and I have to say I was amazed by the flavors. I liked that when I first took a sip of the broth is had a mix of seafood and beef flavored broth. There was just something about it that made it very unique. What I didn't like was the pork neck they gave me. I am assuming they didn't cook it for long because it was NOT tender. It was ver tough to eat and it was the least appetizing thing in the bowl I could without it. This soup over all was very good I liked everything about it. Although this is not something I would come back for this is something I would definitely enjoy in moderation. The broth though... I really enjoyed the broth. It was DELICIOUS. This is our go-to Pho spot! They have even started to recognize us when we come in. This is one of the only Pho places that have vegetarian Pho for me. The veggies are always super fresh and the tofu is tender. We get the medium size and it usually gives us 2 full meals! We also get the Thai Tea boba and the Crab rangoons. The boba is always soft and fresh (never rubbery) and the crab is always melt in your mouth delicious. The employees are super friendly and the restaurant is always clean. Thanks guys! read more

But this recent visit with TO GO Orders, things are not as stellar as I was hoping for. We ordered the following items : * #11. Pho Do Bien (LARGE) ($9.50) * 15F. Sesame Chicken ($8.95) Just a reminder, each TO GO ORDER, there is an additional cost of ($0.35), hence our TO GO orders is ($0.70) When we reached home, and open what we had order, all are OK. For one, as for the Sesame Chicken, err.. aren't sure if it tasted like Chicken or something else. But for Hubs, he said it was OK. If its Sesame Chicken, where is the Sesame Seeds, I ponder and wonder.. Maybe they used Sesame Oil instead for "added" flavor. In that Sesame Chicken TO GO Order, there is just a small Broccoli florets.. Hmmm.. still wondering why an Asian Vietnamese establishment put Broccoli florets, perhaps it was just for "garnish". Now with the Pho Do Bien. YES, it comes with Shrimp, Shrimp Ball, Squid, Crab Claw, Imitation Crab and Rice Noodle with the fixings of Bean Sprouts, Basil, Lime and Jalapenos. All these are OK. I am NOT WOW with my order. Furthermore, with the Shrimp Ball, and other "seafood" items they put, its not really of good quality, that I wish Pho establishments in town would offer. Furthermore, we don't mind paying extra for good quality items from their Menu, In conclusion, we will stick to the "MEAT" options such as Steak or Brisket, when ordering Pho from this establishment. The main thing I fell in love with my selection, was the shrimp. It's very spicy, zesty, and super crunchy. But not hard of course. My friend had the #15D which was more like a big platter with steamed white rice, vegetables on top of that rice, and mostly meat. He very much enjoyed it and he still could not understand how it was managed to be finished by his hungriness. My noodle bowl didn't have soup in it, but rather lots of thin, rice noodles, the porky shrimp that I love so dearly, the vegetables, the chopped up egg rolls, and the dragon sauce. By far my favorite pho spot. The broth always has great flavor and isn't to sweet from cinnamon like other places I've tried. The portions are great, staff is very friendly and one of the servers even has my order memorized which shows great customer service. I also love to get the com dac Biet which is a combination rice plate that comes with pork, chicken, and ribs.
