Food was satisfactory and tasty. Service could use some polish. Ambiance is normal for a small restaurant. We had a unique experience that maybe say "maybe" to a recommendation and only 4 * and not 5. After taking our order, it was not submitted to the kitchen for prep. We saw other tables that ordered after ours get their food while we waited. We had someone finally come ask if there was anything we needed... our food? That's when it was discovered that the order had not been submitted. So they apologized very quickly and sincerely and made sure our order was the next out of the kitchen and offered us a discount on our bill. That's why I chose to give 4 * and not 2 or 3. It was a genuine mistake. And all was forgiven. They made it right. And, again, the food was good. So it would be a satisfactory choice for a meal. read more

Great location in cornerstar just over at arapahoe and parker. Pho was delicious with a light refreshing flavors. Grilled mussels and chicken wings for starters was awesome. Mussels packed with great flavor and compliments well with mayo and garnishes. Chicken wings were extremely crunchy and comes pipping hot served with chili sauce on the side. Panang chicken curry was delicious as well, spicy and flavorful comes with rice and veggies. Curry meat was extremely tender. Great service and checked in on us plenty of times! Always ordered pho at Pho Vy at Cornerstar. It's delicious, but wanted to try something new this time. Ordered the diced steak with rice noodles, grilled pork chop with rice, and the spring rolls. The slightly charred diced Filet Mignon was crispy on the outside, but tender and juicy inside, with wok-fried aroma. Paired with rice noodles drizzled in their special fish sauce, it was surprisingly tasty and satisfying. The pork chop was tender, well marinated with smoky charcoal notes, coupled with the sweet and tangy fish sauce, the overall taste was complex and refreshing. The spring rolls were generously filled with ingredients and were delicious as usual. The place was packed with customers early Sunday afternoon, but the service was prompt and courteous. Its been awhile since my last visit and now I recall why I stopped coming to this restaurant. Most of us instead of complaining about the bad experience, we just stop coming and this was my case. Of coure, I forgot after few years. Things this restauant needs to improve 1. bad phone connection. It is very hard to hear what the other person is saying when you are trying to order. 2. there is two doors. The east door is always locked. You can exit but not enter. Can we put a sign at the door so we do not make unncecssary attempt to open the door? Are you guys inside just laughing at us trying to yank the door open and finally give up? 3. One of the worker is leaning on the high top table and sleeping. This is not a plesant sight. and lastly.. and most disgusting behavior is The person helping me with my order was sitting by the table and started picking his nose. I could not believe it. I should have taken a photo of him in act. At the time of visit on 6/2 around 5 pm, I could see 4 workers. Elderly skinny one was sleeping on the table. 2nd femail employee was cooking. Not a bad spot for pho, meat was tasty, Vietnamese iced coffee was delicious, and spring rolls were good! Broth was a tad on the salty side, but not enough to take away a star. Service was quick, though did need a little extra effort to catch the attention of the staff after our food was delivered. I do have to take a star though because of the bathrooms and overall organization/state of the restaurant. There wasn't any soap in the men's bathroom, both in the automatic dispenser nor the plastic one on the sink. The sink was also pretty dirty (or maybe just old?) and there were no paper towels. There were also no extra napkins available at any of the tables. I also typically don't mind restaurants storing boxes/supplies/cleaning stuff in whatever corner/hallway space they have, but just something about the way it was organized here put me off a little bit. I was craving for Pho and I was around this area, and I didn't think twice to try this place. First at all, the place was clean, the tables and chairs were wiped and their chopsticks were almost new. ( that says a lot). Based on the latest reviews, I ordered chicken Pho and it was tasty and yummy... I wished it came with some veggies but that's fine, I ordered some steam veggies on the side. We had the Bun Bo Hue and the Grilled meat - beef. $27. The Bun Bo Hue was a refreshing take on pho. The flavor was less meaty and more vibrant. It contained the same meats as the combination pho with the delightful taste of lemon grass. The grilled meat was terrific! The flavor and the scent stayed strong and amazing during the whole dish. Updating previous reviewers, I went here for a great bowl of pho (tai) and spring rolls. Ingredients were fresh, soup broth excellent flavor, and spring rolls with the strip of pork was a great combination as compared to options at other places. Service was quick and d serving areas were very clean. Plus there was an elder Asian couple doing the food prep which you could see into the semi-open kitchen. Gotta be really authentic recipes. I've been here a few times now, and each time the food has been just meh. I've tried their pho, which leaves a lot to be desired, and at $15 a bowl it's very disappointing. They gave me 1 pack of soy sauce for my rice and when I asked for more not only did they talk about me right infront of my face but said they were going to charge me $1 for sauce packets. I got the seafood pho which comes with mussels, shrimp, scallops and fish in the small size. Are some of the dumplings before I remembered to take a photo. They were delish. A little crispy but not too much and the sauce set off the taste perfectly. Not overly salty and the texture of the chicken was smooth. His noodles came with a lot of chicken and which was nice but not as much noodles as he liked. My seafood pho was made spicy as I requested and very tasty. It was also spicy. My partner called in to find out what their hours were today and some rude guy answered the phone. Here is how the conversation went: My partner: "Hi, what time are you guys open until today?" Rude guy: "If we were closed I would not have answered the phone. Just come whenever you want." My family has been enjoying this restaurant over the years. We brought my parents for the second time because they really enjoyed the first time they went. This time was no exception. Yesterday (2/9/25), we ordered are usual (pho), and half way through our meal, my wife noticed a cockroach in the vegetable basket. It was alive and crawling. We quickly stop eating and informed our kind server who apologized and offered us free boba drinks. We took the drinks and kept them in the fridge in case the health department wants to test them. This afternoon, I came in to get some Pho and had a terrible experience due to the poor customer service of the wait staff. I noticed that the chair I was to be sat in was very dirty and kindly asked the host/waiter to wipe it off. He was terribly rude, telling me to sit down and calling me picky. He then asked if I was going to pay, like if was going to pay him to clean it off? He finally just switched the chair out. [COVID review] Wednesday evening about an hour before close was pretty busy. Service was decent but nothing special. (Pet peeve with people wearing airpods while talking with you, but not a big deal.) All of us got pho (almost everyone got 3P actually) and I'd say it was pretty okay. The portions were sizeable and a small was enough for me (I don't eat too much, though. A regular is only a dollar more and should be better.) However, the broth wasn't as tasty/rich as I've had at other places, and it was also more oily than I'm used to. I'm not from the area, so maybe my standards are a bit high?
