So my family and I would frequent here often since they live nearby but our recent visit over the holidays left a really bad taste in our mouths. The food is good and priced well but the reason for this low rating is due to their dishonesty. I thought perhaps this was a one-off situation but I read another reviewer years ago experiencing the same thing. We were planning to pay and apparently, the 20% "gratuity" was already added for our family of 5. Then the server proceeds to ask how much we would like to tip on the screen, but something didn't add up. The total amount seemed like it was way above it should be including the tip and when we requested a printed receipt, another server had to come by. It felt like the older gentlemen was trying to double-dip by telling us that the tip wasn't added but clearly there was a gratuity already there. No apology or anything. We didn't even add the gratuity and it looks like the server automatically added it to our bill without us knowing. We didn't want to have any other issues so we just left paying for the 20% gratuity and decided that we won't be going there anymore. It makes me sad since this was our solid Pho spot in Denver but I cannot support an establishment that is dishonest. It only makes me wonder how many other customers they had done this to and if anyone else has caught them. Yummy food - especially the noodle bowls- but no ambiance and lackluster service. This visit was a take out order and since I was running early I just went in to order. I was given a couple of extra sauces that I was charged for and a full order of egg rolls. I had requested 1 egg rolls with each bowl. But the egg rolls were crispy and flavorful so it turned out OK. I've only had the noodle bowls and they are consistently good - and large portions. They do have a full menu of other items and I would like to try something else some time. read more

Came out for a solo lunch and ordered iced coffee, egg rolls and pho (my typical go to order when trying a new Vietnamese restaurant). The egg rolls are delish. I love it when it's served with ingredients you can make a wrap with. That alone would have been a satisfying meal. But I was hungry and ordered a large bowl of their special combo (which included rare beef, well done brisket, flank, tendon, and tripe). The bowl was huuuge, I was so excited to dig in. Unfortunately, the broth wasn't great. I did quite a few work to get it to be somewhat flavorful with just the sriracha and hoisin sauce and the other garnishes. Though I think what was more upsetting was the tendons and tripe were not tender. It was super rubbery and the cuts didn't seem right. So I couldn't finish the large bowl of pho. It was also then did I get the ice coffee which I ended up just taking it to go. Coffee was delicious. I would come back to try their other dishes outside of pho. Pho Saigon was a roomy place and we were seated fairly quickly for an early weekend dinner. Despite football being on the tvs, it was quiet enough for the family to enjoy. The pho bowls and cream cheese wontons were great, and while the service was a bit slow, I couldn't blame them if they had to prep multiple orders for a table of 4 adults and 1 infant. A thumbs down however to the rice plates being cold. However, what most caught me by surprise was when getting up to pay at the counter, the server swiped the credit card I handed him and when I was ready to add a tip and sign, he said we were good to go--only to include a 20% tip/gratuity off the total check without informing us. Not cool. Keep an eye on your check before you pay when closing out. But I don't think I'll be coming back here again because of that. read more

We saw that they had decent prices for pho compared to a lot of places around the area so we stopped in to see if it was good. It was! We were seated immediately and we ordered. I would say it seem to take longer than normal for our pho bowls to come out. other than that though, the broth was flavorful and mine was packed with a ton of meat. The small bowls are smaller than other places, which I personally like. Sometimes I order a kids size if they let me. I usually cannot finish a small by myself. But this one was almost perfect sized. If you want the best pho in town - give Pho Saigon a try! It is ALWAYS good and they have a pretty broad menu if you would like to try other Vietnamese dishes. I like the P2 Steak Pho and you have to try the Coconut water - it's so refreshing and delicious. Usually the fish sauce needs to be doctored a bit further with a healthy squeeze or two of lime. I never got their pad thai before, and I'm not curious either. Why would anyone ever order non-vietnamese food at a vietnamese restaurant? Especially when there's a Thai restaurant just 4 doors down. If you're in the area and in the mood, this is a solid pick. I love to eat pho with a good broth. Usually the best time to go get pho is during lunch time. Sadly, some place exceed and some place doesnt. Let start off with the chicken wings. So the chicken wings was over fry. It didnt have any juice and it was flavorless. It just taste like chicken fry in oil. No seasoning. Pho was super water down. It had a good portion for meat and noodles, but the broth isnt the best. Again, like I mentioned lunch is the best because it fresh pho broth, but sadly they must had added the water to the pot too early. The spring roll was good, i rather make my own sauce . The sauce was ok, it was still to much peanut taste. Also, the rice paper got too hard to chew. The last meal i got was the vermicelli noodle with chicken, pork and eggroll. It is actually really good and fulfilling. I enjoy that meal a lot. I would give it a four, but the services wasnt there and we waited so long to order. My Meatballs and Rare Beef was paired with round, fat noodles, just the way I like and asked for it. Hubby's Grilled Shrimp Noodle Bowl (dry) has skinny noodles that were perfect for dipping in fish sauce! The number of grilled shrimps was generous, as was in Spring Rolls (appetizer). Pho Saigon does a killer crab cheese wonton. They are always made to order and the shell is so crispy and inside perfect amount of crab cheese filling. The red sweet sauce they give you to dip the wontons is good in small amounts. I really like their spring rolls. You get two to an order and they come with a delicious peanut sauce to dip in. I have heard good things about their crab cheese wontons so I definitely had to try those, so we ordered some with their appetizer platter which had crab cheese wontons, egg rolls, and fried dumplings. Out of the three the crab cheese wontons were the star of the show and definitely something I would order again when I come here. Next, we ordered our pho and I got the medium size with meatballs and rare beef. The medium size was extremely generous and definitely had enough pho for two meals, so it is most definitely worth the price. The pho also had a good amount of meatball and beef inside.
