Boba flavors
Chris S.

This place is very cute and super tasty. However, it's a mystery to me why it's 50% more expensive than pho Broadway like a half mile away. I'd certainly come back here, but I'd like to sample both and determine which is best. I will say the large size is LARGE. Service was extremely fast, and the people working (who I assume are the owners) were very nice. I got the P8 which was excellent. I also got a mango boba which was delish! If I come back I might get a pad Thai to go. Odd dish for a pho / Vietnamese place, but if it's on the menu, maybe that means they make it really well?

Crab cheese wontons, really nice crispy shell with a creamy interior

Everything we tried was great and service was friendly and prompt. We had crab cheese wontons, combo bowl and another noodle dish plus the meatball pho. For the pho, the broth was nicely beefy and rich. Plenty of noodles and broth and nice accompanying plate of bean sprouts, basil, limes and jalapeños. The appetizer wontons were really good and we all got our own dipping bowl of sauce which I personally loved! It was amazing with a spoonful of the chili sauce that was on the table. We all devoured these happily. I had a combination noodle bowl and although I personally would have liked more lettuce at the bottom and less noodles, some people would have preferred it just the way it came. Either way the meats were tender, grilly and nicely flavorful with a super fresh taste to them. The egg rolls were a little soggier than I prefer but not bad, and a very generous portion of them. I ordered a side of plain pho broth and it was really savory and delicious. Not too sweet or unusual tasting- just beefy and rich. The other member of our party ordered a noodle dish on the back of the menu with a description of "beef and chicken" but I think it was just supposed to come with either or as it arrived with just chicken. The nice gentleman who took then order called it "lo mein" but it wasn't called that on the menu. In any case it was a really great noodle dish with lots of veggies and meat as well. Everyone likes what they had and agreed we'd like to visit again and it was worth the 25 minute drive from home, which is saying a lot because I'm usually not willing to stray too far for dinner. However I'd heard someone say the broth was great here so I had to come by and try it! So glad I did!

Owners changed last time I came. The sentimental feeling is gone. Place looks the same but people are different. It definitely tastes different too. I asked the current owners what happened and they mentioned that they took over for their relative. Bummer. The cream cheese fried dumpling was ok. Wouldn't get it again. The pho tasted more fast food than authentic. Maybe the owners will change again and it'll change but until then, I'll try another place.

Small hole in the wall and very good! But very expensive for spring rolls and Vietnamese egg rolls. They should have side-order pricing.

No frills pho shop. The large pho is absolutely huge - great value if you're super hungry. We loved the spring roll appetizers.

The food is usually pretty good! I do feel like they may have decreased their meat portions in their pho.

I always notice the small things and Happy Pho is a cozy, comfortable place to settle into for lunch or dinner. The space is really well done and the longer we sat, the more I appreciated the space. Staff greeted us at the door, seated us quickly and took great care of us. You can't ask for more - and you won't have to here! We started with their spring rolls and both of us commented - these might be the best spring rolls we've ever had. Peanut sauce was on point, the spring rolls themselves were made fresh and had the perfect texture. So very good. And then on to our main courses - my guy loves his Vietnamese pho and has pretty picky tastes. His mom is Vietnamese and he grew up having incredibly good pho. Not many places get his attention. Happy Pho did, though! The rich broth was perfect - and if you know good pho, you know this, in itself, is a labor of love. My rice vermicelli bowl with spicy stir fried lemongrass chicken was amazing - much more than I could eat, only meaning my lunch the next day would also be amazing. This was such a happy meal for us. Happy Pho now has a place in our rotation. It was so dang good!

We were seated immediately and after looking at the menu decided on the SP1., Shaken Filet Mignon with garlic noodles (Com / Mi Bo Luc Lac) and the B5., Spicy Stir-fried Lemongrass Vermicelli Bowl with chicken. Our dishes came out quickly with a delicious aroma of garlic. The steak in the Shaken Filet Mignon was tender and absorbed the flavors of the sauce. The crunchy bell pepper, garlic noodles and steak came together for a perfect bite. The Spicy Stir-fried Lemongrass Vermicelli Bowl is a significant portion which can easily be shared. It's a combination of comfort food with the deep flavor of the spicy chicken and the fresh veggies, all on top of the vermicelli noodles. The mint in this dish really highlighted the freshness and completed the dish. I'm looking forward to adding Happy Pho to one of our regular places to enjoy delicious Vietnamese cuisine.

The standout for me was the taro fries. I absolutely loved them. They were crispy, flavorful, and something I'd order again. They were also surprisingly good as leftovers the next day, which isn't something you can say about most fries. If you're getting takeout and won't be eating right away, these still hold up really well. Overall, ZOMO is a great spot if you're looking for generous options, flexible portion sizes, and some unique menu items. The taro fries alone are worth the visit.

Because this place deserves your attention for their kind and attentive service, great variety (there are tons of dishes I don't normally see like Vietnamese Fried Chicken!), and home style meals. Our normal go to Pho run is Pho Basil which is a bit out of the way. And while I will never stop going there, I am adding Pho Real to the mix. I loved their beef tendon and brisket pho. I got the medium and it was a perfect amount for me. I loved how they cut up the tendon into very manageable pieces. I was able to savor a little bit of everything in each bite. I do have to say they are very generous with the portions. But their pho broth at the bottom of the bowl was very salty. So I only finished it up what I could eat with the noodles. Which was a lot! If you're not into pho or maybe want to try something different, we also tried the beef fried rice which came with the same brisket that you find in the pho. It was a perfect cut for fried rice. We loved it as well. So don't miss out on this little restaurant!

I plucked those nasty critters out, but now wondering if it is worth potentially getting sick by finishing what is left. The chicken is dry and has zero flavor and the pork has grey marbling. **Edit I chose to eat some of the rice anyway, but it was so terrible I took it back for a refund. The owner refuted the fact that the shrimp was bad, even after I had her smell it. She insisted that's how shrimp smells, so I dared her to take a bite. She refused. She did refund my money and I was going to leave it at that, but.... Here we are 18 hours later and I have food poisoning. Vomiting and bad diarrhea. That was the only thing I ate yesterday. I've been to Pho 99 a couple of times since the time of this review during different days and times of the day. Parking for the restaurant is widely available as it is located in a shopping plaza. Even during lunch rushes, I haven't seen the parking lot fill up. There is ample seating in the restaurant as well, with tables and booths everywhere. Service is fast and food comes out fast - we order our food and it comes out 5-10 minutes every time. I have tried their pho numerous times here and every time, they give you a very generous amount of meat and fixings in the noodle soup. At most pho places that I've been to, I'm usually full after finishing the entire bowl, which includes the broth. But here, I'm pretty full after just finishing the solid contents of the bowl. There are many cuts of beef and you just keep finding more beef after thinking you have finished them all - which is a great thing when enjoying pho. The broth is seasoned well and the noodles are slightly chewy which is great. I don't think I have been to another pho place where they are this generous with the protein! Price wise, very fair - $15 for a large bowl of pho that can maybe even feed two people. I think that Pho 99 is a fantastic restaurant in the Littleton area, and I am glad that they are a dining option here. I will definitely like to revisit again to try their other options!

The service is always adequate if not a tad surly. They don't spend a lot of time making friends with you, which is cool by me. Just the food and a forced smile is perfectly acceptable. My fav dish is the combo noodle bowl. Get the large. It's not that much more money but sets you up for a tasty lunch for the next day. It's a good amount of food. The combo seems to be 1 or 2 shrimp, lots of pork and beef, tendon, brisket, and tripe, I believe. Served with a generous side of cold bean sprouts, cucumber, lime quarters, jalapeño, and some seriously tasty broth. Oh yes, plenty of cilantro of course. If you order the noodle bowl combo for delivery, you will get lots of baggies full of thin sliced meats, raw. A little surprising to me, but I just reheated the broth, tossed in the meats and confidently chowed down. Their eggrolls and Rangoon are solid and the spring rolls are beautiful as well as delicious. Definitely recommended for good food at fair prices. Most every dish is fairly straightforward so you'll get what you would expect from a strip mall Pho joint, but everything I have tried tasted fresh and is well executed.
