Stopped in yesterday for lunch after some shopping. The restaurant is in strip mall so there is plenty of parking. On this visit, it wasn't busy and we sat and ordered very quickly. We had the spring rolls and meatball pho. Our food was out super quick and the spring rolls were terrific. The pho broth was especially impressive; the flavor is rich and balanced, with the star anise really shining through. The spring rolls were fresh and flavorful, and the Vietnamese coffee was spot-on. Pho Kang is a hidden gem right across the street from Park Meadows. We decided to give it a go and, omigosh, were we glad we did. The owner Henry welcomed us in really enthusiastically. The special noodle combination had some of the best spiced pork in town (according to da boss). I was a bit skeptical about the veggie noodle bowl because in some places it's kind of flavorless? Pho Kang's veggie noodle bowl was packed with flavor! And the taro boba smoothie? It had freshly made boba and was so yum that it hardly made it to my side of the booth. Did the dine instead of takeout and I actually think the meal I had for takeout was better. I had the combination noodle bowl and for some reason the fish sauce was lacking the kick it had the last time I had it. Also note that the combination noodle bowl only comes with one shrimp and no beef. The pork pieces were a bit fatty this go round. The 4 other diners all had Pho and they loved it. We tried the chicken wings which had a nice crunch but only a few had the chili sauce on them. Also had the shrimp spring rolls which I would rate as average. It seems like the prices at this place on the whole are more expensive than other Pho or Vietnamese places. I think all in all you should give it a try and see what you think. read more

Brought my gf here on a Tuesday night. Was met with a scowl from across the restaurant but sat down as usual. Instead of greeting us, the waiter/busser started throwing the dishes from the booth behind us into his cart. Crashing with each one before walking it across and pushing it into the wall causing the dish cart to crash over. The situation was so aggressive and uncomfortable I told my gf we were leaving. My main issue with these places is that it wreaks of cleaner and it's like this with every Pho I have been to and it is so off putting for me and why I hate getting Pho now. 12/24/24: Decided to give this place another try and was disappointed. They were not that busy, but there was one table that all of the staff were focusing on. I don't know if they were family, friends or regular customers, but the wait staff was goofing around with them instead of paying attention to other customers. I had a hard time getting our servers attention to get a refill of water for my mom and a to go box. They were acting like the customers didn't exist. If they wanted to have a party they should have done it after they closed for the day. Then I got super upset when all of the staff started doing shots with the table. Staff at any place should not be taking shots while they are working. Not only is it unprofessional, but there could be legal issues with it. If any of the staff were TIPS certified they should lose their certification over that behavior and drinking on the job. read more

DELIVERY ONLY! When I popped hot for COVID after 2.5 years of a global pandemic, the only thing I knew that could cure me was pho. Having heard good things and being close to home, I knew this was the perfect opportunity to try Pho Khang. PRO: Online ordering is available with a wide variety of delicious offerings. CON: There is a minimum order total (which is valid) but could be annoying if one person didn't want to order $20 worth of food. PRO: The men is massive, offering a wide variety of pho, Vietnamese, Chinese and Asian dishes - so there is something for everyone! CON: It's a little hard to determine what to order by the sheer volume of offerings. Plus, the menu is primarily photos, which don't depict just how big the portions are, just the ingredients included. PRO: I opted for an order of the Shrimp Pho, which was pre-portioned out into broth in one container with the fixin's in the other. Everything was fresh, delicious and decently warm upon arrival. CON: Either the broth lid wasn't on tight or was moved in delivery, but by the time my ordered arrived, half my brother was floating in the delivery bag, which was disappointing. I had to drain it out to use, otherwise I wouldn't have had enough to mesh with my noodles. PRO: Portions are decently large, full of flavor and provide the opportunity for leftovers the next day! CON: Price is steep. My shrimp pho was just under $18 for their only sized portion which, although decent again, seemed pricey for soup. PRO: Delivery is available - which is desperately what I needed when feeling like garbage. CON: I waited a good 40 minutes for my order - which seems a little excessive for soup that's about 7 minutes away. In fact, my husband got his Chinese takeout order 20 minutes faster than I did, which we had to keep warm until mine arrived. Although this spot is close to home, I'm not sure I'd order through delivery again. I would, however, opt to dine in for the full experience. read more

The food here is delicious. The staff is very nice and the service great and fast. I just have a few suggestions. The place just needs to be cleaner. Owners: just take a closer look at things like the napkin holders on the tables for one thing. They have never been cleaned, they have old food particles all over them, as if they have never been wiped down. The women's room is often just looking like it needs a deep clean. Overall the decor is a mish-mosh of dark colors, random decorations, food pictures and flags (nothing really goes together, but it isn't the biggest deal really, but could use a decor facelift). A big thing though as customers is that the TV is almost at the same volume at the music on, so what you hear when dining is just noise of two things battling each other. Please have the TV on mute with subtitles on and lower the music a bit so people can relax while they dine. It was quite loud and sounds chaotic each time we visited there. My family loves this pho restaurant. The spring rolls are seriously the best I've ever had. The pork is grilled (not the plain bland pork normally found in goi con) and the peanut sauce clearly has some kind of herb element as it has an extra punch that is delightful. Pho Khang is located in an unassuming strip mall. I swung by here driving back from Colorado Springs. This was about 2PM or so on a Sunday, so it was pretty slow. The entrance is a little odd, where you walk in a door and then snake your way to the restaurant floor. The menus are on the wall that separates the line and the restaurants, and it has copies of the menu posted up. I have seen this before in a few other Vietnamese restaurants that get a lunch crush. There was one wall with a HUGE poster of their various iced tea and boba flavors. Tempting... I sat down and was immediately asked if I knew what I wanted to order as they handed me the menu. I like it! One thing that I found a little odd was that I usually order the pho #1 which has all the weird bits in it. This time it was number 7, so I got ordered a medium #7 when my waitress came back. My food came out pretty quickly. I found it was an enormous amount of noodles. So much so that it was tough to mix and turn the ingredients in the bowl without spilling too much broth. The broth was also a touch bland, but nothing that a good few squirts of sriracha can't solve. The "veggie tray" had plenty of bean sprouts, two limes, two leafy basil sprigs and two slices of pepper. Two slices. :( All in all a decent meal. Update: Goodness- they must have a different chef or something because wow this place has changed and gone down hill. Super bland broth! Combo noodle bowls don't have beef anymore, egg roll isn't chopped up and seems smaller and more like a spring roll. Much smaller portion of meats in the bowl. We also got two appetizers. A small portion of summer/fresh rolls. And chicken wings that were gnarly. Fatty, not much meat and zero flavor. I don't know if they can coax me back. Old review: I have eaten here several times, so I'm surprised I haven't reviewed it yet. The thing this place has really great versions of is their grilled meat noodle bowls, especially with a fried egg added. (There's a place near me pho1234? who doesn't allow eggs to be added so I always drive past them to get here.) Pho is pretty good, but not my ultra favorite in the area. They also bring you a lot more herbs and veggies like the basil, lime and stuff than local competitors! It's always fresh and nice quality ingredients. The grilled meats are Vietnamese style so they're very thin, super grilly and flavorful but not that tender per se. Many reviews mention the weak service and it's accurate. 80% of the time we have to go up and have them ready our check because as other reviewers mention they start off bringing you stuff and then they largely ignore you. Not in a rude way, they some how don't appear to grasp any urgency for coming back at the end of the meal. However aside from the slowness they're friendly and pleasant. My solution is to never come here if I'm pressed for time. If you want a leisurely meal of delicious food and don't mind going up to the counter to pay or ask for a To go box, then you'll be fine. If you're looking for super attentive and fast service this might not be it. On the other hand, I've never actually tried telling them that I was in a rush to see if they respected that or not so they might actually be OK if you do you want fast service! read more
