I remember when Noodles &Co originally opened with interesting menu options and to some degree made to order items. While portions always had been on the small side, today's regular version of my spicy steak Asian noodle was a mere appetizer. I can't imagine who would suffice with the small version. I would estimate the amount of beef around 2-3 oz. Not enough for a $13 menu item. Aside from that, the sauce tasted too processed, sweet and in no appropriate relation to the amount of noodles. It didn't just gently cover the starch and protein but made it more the consistency of a soup. All in all not appetizing. Ordered a salad Wednesday night and employees were friendly and hard working. I'm only leaving 3 stars because the guy making my salad and handling most of the food orders didn't wash his hands once or wear gloves. I watched him take orders and then handle food, clear tables and then handle food, take his hat off and run his fingers over his hair and then handle food. Food was good as always but they need to keep up with the soda machine. I tried four different ones and ended up just getting water. First I tried coke and got a brief stream then it ran out. Then I tried sprite and it tasted like carbonated water with no syrup. Then went for fruit punch Fanta and it had the red color but again tasted like carbonated water. Finally tried the dr. Pepper and it ran out as I was pouring and got a 1/4 of my cup worth. That and they were out of the vast majority of drinks in it anyways so you didn't have a choice but water. This is definitely one of the better locations for food and service. The one in DTC shot themselves in the foot and we were dumb enough to go twice. The beef was a bit chewy but the noodles were pretty on point. I love the chili flakes they have out. I may put a bit too much on my noodles. The potstickers were kinda small. Well I didn't look at my receipt until I got home and to add a meal was $3.25 extra. Not happy about that but now know not to make the mistake again. I ate here today, and our food was delivered to the table within 3 minutes of us sitting down (after we got our drinks). Talk about fast! The food was piping hot, fresh, and delicious. The only thing I don't like about this location is the line area for ordering. It can be very chaotic during peak hours. This is a fast-casual, meaning no wait staff, but they do have a few people that deliver food and bus tables. They are always so friendly and cheerful. I have gotten some snotty cashiers from time to time, but nothing severe enough for me to boycott the place. I am a HUGE fan of the Noodles franchise. I think their corporation has a young, energetic vibe that is refreshing in today's restaurant choices. I think they have a unique style that definitely works for them. Their menu is great too. Simple but something for every diner. My personal favorite is the Penne Rosa, which is a spicy pasta dish with fresh basil and tomatoes. I love that I can get fast, fresh food without going through a drive thru window. Much better! One thing I have noticed lately at a few locations is that they have switched to plastic glassware instead of the paper to go cup style unless you ask. I haven't done any research, but I would assume that it is two-fold. It is obviously a cost savings for the company, but also better for the planet. Way to go! read more

I have been eating at this Noodles location for a few years now. More so lately though, my roommate is a manager at another Noodles location and gave me a bunch of buy one get one free coupons ;) Lately I've been grabbing 1/2 priced lunch for the people I share space & oxygen with at work. I'd say 3 to 4 out of 5 times it's really good. Those few times it's bad, it's usually too greasy like they used too much oil (I just learned that you can ask for no or low oil on dishes as well) or they didn't put enough sauce on the dish. Overall though, this place is A-OK and I will continue to eat here. Even if sometimes I don't have 1/2 priced coupons :) My favorites on the menu are the Indonesian Peanut Saute', Pene Rosa, The Med Salad, Wisconsin Mac & Cheese & The Mushroom Stroganoff. YUM! I signed up for their email 'club' and received a coupon for a free pasta for my upcoming birthday. I decided to cash this in on Friday and was super pleased! The menu is huge and I love how you have dishes from all over the world to choose from. The website also does an excellent job of outlining the different dishes and their ingredients. I found the menu board a little hard to read as it's back from the cash registers, but they have little printout versions right inside the door. I ordered the steak stroganoff and handed over my coupon. The staff was super friendly and seemed to be working very well together. I sat down on the bench at the front and only had to wait about 2 minutes. My dish was provided in a paper bag to go and I was in and out within 5 minutes. I got home ~20 minutes later and the dish was still hot. It was a huge portion that I would gladly pay the regular price of $8 for. The noodles were perfectly cooked and there were plenty of mushrooms and sauce. The beef was very tender and overall it was a super tasty dish! I noticed while waiting that they a) have a new Coke machine that lets you choose from a ton of choices of Coke products b) they have beer that ranges in price from $3-4 and c) that bottles of white wine are $10. Sometimes I feel silly for even writing reviews for chain restaurants because you expect consistency of product from service and food quality from place to place. Sadly that's not the case all the time. While I'm generally a fan of Noodles & Co across the board, this location, right by my work, constantly exceeds my expectations. One their staff is great. Most of the folks (at least at the register) have been there since our office moved near there over a year ago. I've never had bad food at Noodles, but the speed of service at this location is mind-blowing, even during a crowded lunch rush. I can honestly say, I think I've gotten my food here, even when it's busy, quicker than some of the other locations that I regularly visit. You should also really check out new menu items the next time you visit any one of their locations.
