This place restored my faith in humanity, and no, I'm not exaggerating. I was about 35 minutes out of town and drove in for a networking meeting. I had a lot I had to get done that day and didn't know the area. I showed up to the coffee shop a few doors down, sat down, ordered food, only to find out the wifi wasn't working. I had already ordered a drink and thought it might be weird to drive to another coffee shop with a coffee drink in hand.... I also didn't want to waste more time. So, in a moment of desperation, I called this place and asked if I could use their wifi. The man on the phone (I wish I got his name), which I would soon find out is one of the kindest humans on this planet, said of course, and welcomed me with open arms. Upon coming inside, he made sure to get me a booth that had an outlet so I could charge my computer. He went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed. I didn't want to overstay my welcome as I felt what I was doing was unusual for a restaurant setting, but without asking, he assured me I could stay as long as I needed and made sure I felt comfortable. In those moments, his kindness and generosity put a genuine smile on my face and warmed my heart. You could tell the pure place all of this was coming from and how genuine he is. It really made my day. I ended up ordering the meatless pho, and it was delicious. When I left, he even let me fill up my water bottle with water and gave me some mints and dessert treat to go. If I ever find myself back in this area, I'm coming back. I can't say enough good things. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. THEY ARE DOING IT RIGHT IN EVERY WAY!!!! read more

Food: Good Service: Good Atmosphere: okay Overall: Good but nothing special Food: I ordered both the seafood pho (imitation crab meat, fish balls, and shrimp) and the combination pho (tripe, rare beef steak, and tendon). Both of them tasted what like other pho places, however the after-taste was that of salt (especially in the broth). The food was good and I may come back if I am around the area. However, I will not go out of my way to come here. It does not stand out from any other pho place I've been to. Service: The servers were friendly and check my table often. However, they did not ask me how the food was...I know it is such a minute detail of restaurants, but most restaurants want to ensure that their customers are happy. Atmosphere: The environment, but it was definitely sub-par. The music was loud and found myself getting distracted with the music. In regards to the bathroom, it was nice, but the paper towel dispenser was not working. There was definitely another dispenser in the past because you could see the outline of its placement before it was removed. I ended up having to wipe my hands on my clothes. The Beef Lemongrass pho is my absolute favorite and this place is the only pho place where I've ever found it. The broth is so spicy and full of flavor. I don't think I can go back to eating regular pho again. I also love that they give you lots of ingredients with the pho. I always leave extra full. Whenever I'm craving pho, this is the place I go to! Today, I tried the banana strawberry smoothie for the first time. Unfortunately, I was not impressed. They use banana and strawberry powder instead of real fruit so the smoothie had an artificial candy like taste. If I were to get another, I think I would go with green tea as this usually comes as a powder. The restaurant was a bit hot inside today, almost unbearable until we switched seats to a spot where the air conditioning was blowing directly on us. I know it's hot outside, and it's expensive to keep the AC at a lower temperature, but they really should have turned it down a little. The service is usually not the best but today it was very good. A-OK is pretty on the nose. Not great or good...just OK. First off the space is WAY too big for them to manage (formerly Illegal Pete's?). We got in for lunch today and there were several folks at the bar, and about 6 tables sat...ONE server. More tables came in after us, filling in the place and still just her. She was doing the best she could with running water out as soon as possible to people once she saw them sit down, but was then running one plate at a time out to other tables, so it took a bit for her to get back to us to take our order. Bless her - she was REALLY trying hard. After 20 minutes of just seeing her, two other people came out the "help" but weren't doing much, so not sure what was going on here. Our food took a good bit, and then came out one plate at a time, so that it was about 10 minutes before our entire table had our entrees from the time the first one was put on the table. They don't have a heat lamp visible for where they put the food out, so the kitchen puts a food on a countersil and it sits there until the server runs it out. As for the food, it was OK too. Not bad...Just OK. Our table tried a variety Asian dishes & one Vegetarian Pho. Portions were decent. Everyone in our group was just OK with the food. There are other places in the area that do the same thing better tasting, better price, and not crushing one server. read more

Hubby and I came here for a quick lunch. We found a booth and we were immediately brought menus and big glasses of water. He ordered the #7 large tripe, brisket and beef pho. I ordered the vermicelli with grilled shrimp meal. It came with their house fish sauce and it was delicious! Met an old Navy buddy for some good chow, this wasn't too far from his place and he thought it was worth a try. Big place, but a little run down. I had the vegetable noodles with tofu. Huge portions with a decent amount of crunchy veggies, including cabbage, carrots, broccoli and shrooms. This place is an amazing gem in Lone Tree. I used to live in Chicago by little Vietnam and this place tastes just as authentic, if not more so! The large bowl could feed you for three days -- it's an amazing amount of food for the price. The meat is cooked perfectly, the broth is light yet delicious and it's simply a wonderful meal. I'm always on the journey to find my favorite pho place and this is definitely the spot I would return to. I can't say much the dine-in experience however I have always had some trouble with delivery. It seems the food always take much longer to get prepared and ready than most pho places I have tried. Usually the order does not get ready for more than an hour longer after I have placed the order, sometimes even close to two hours! I have tried multiple times to order here and the outcome is always the same. However their pho is good! A good amount of food comes with the rare steak pho and their spring rolls are good too! There is barely any rice noodles in the spring rolls so they are tiny but the flavoring of the pork is great which makes up for it :) read more

I had to make a trip to the big city for specific Christmas shopping, and I noticed that the newishly arrived In N Out was jammed ( and also next to a Chick Fil A - nice planning!). So I searched for a nearby pho joint and found Pho Khang (with a chuckle). It's northwest of the Park Meadows Shopping Vortex, in a little strip mall off of Yosemite St. The location is spacious, but in need of renovation - carpet is worn out, bench seats are saggy and that bathroom is being considered for the next Trainspotting). The pho itself was good, although I requested no bean sprouts on my plate and still got bean sprouts. Service was decent, and the prices are as well.
