Disappointing. I had the grilled trio of meats that was supposed to be to make spring rolls, I never got the rice paper. The meat had good flavor. We also ordered chicken pho, but it tasted bad and even my 11year old said it tasted like cleaning products. When the server asked if something was wrong I said we didn't like the flavor of the soup and then se said she would let the owner know. He then came by and asked if I had questions, I said I didn't and he asked what the problem was, I let him know that it tasted like soap and he proceeded to say there was no soap in it...And that was that! I walked out of there paying $60 and still hungry.. I have been to quite a few pho places and I'm used to the flavor and spices, just not used to eating dawn. read more

Pho Vy is average - it's worth it to go a little more east on Arapahoe or north on Parker to get better pho options. I ended up with the combination rice noodle bowl and it was only okay - the portions were a bit smaller, and the meat not cooked as well as other places i have tried. Can someone explain to me why this place has the best chicken wings I've ever had? This is coming from an Angry Chicken evangelist and those wings were off-the-charts good. The pho was solid & very much scratched the itch I had for some noodles, but I'm leaving a 5-star review because I was blown away by how good those wings were. Clean. Very customer driven. The Pho was good for a vegetarian option. I wished there was more flavor to the broth. However the large amount of Thai basil, bean sprouts (yum-o!), lime wedges and jalapeños makes up for the flavorless broth. I also added the hoisin and siracha for kick to make it complete. To me, nothing feels more gringo than walking into this place. It looks like a 1950's style diner with lame music with only white people dining. On top of that, I get a fork with my chop sticks- major red flag! Nonetheless, it comes down to the food. I know pho is a very complicated dish with many interpretations but I just was not a fan. It was very aromatic yet the taste was just off. I cannot pinpoint why but it did not work for me. I was disappointed that I got just a little bit of mint and absolutely no cilantro. Siracha is the only option I had to add any spice (or flavor) to my soup. It just came up short on all levels. 1st visit and I am very pleased. I was hesitant, but after validating that this Pho Vy is sister to the Pho Vy in Parker, I went right for my fave.....Tai Bam. It was delicious! The beef and noodles were perfectly cooked, the broth, very flavorful (yes i do add a bit of lime). Pho comes in 3 sizes, also a bonus. This would be two stars in many parts of the Denver Metro area. But, for a place near the intersection of Parker Road and Arapahoe, it squeaks by with three. I had been meaning check this place out. I see frequent coupons in the Val-Pak mailers, but of course I did not have one with me on this impromptu visit. The Good: This is where the short-lived Maid-Rite (home of the loose meat sandwich) was previously located. So, it is in a good location, still has the retro-ish chairs, and is not too crowded inside. My service was good. The pricing was not bad considering the amount of noodles and meat and veg. The Bad: My veggies were so cold as to be borderline frozen on the bean sprouts. I only put a few of them in the soup so as not to cool it off too much. It was just a rather boring bowl of Pho that could have (should have) been better. The Ugly: The broth. Okay, it was not terrible (no strong off-notes). But, the predominant taste was just salt. There was no richness, complexity, or (wait for it) depth of flavor. And with Pho, "If you ain't got good broth, you ain't got nuthin' bruddah." The dining room is always dingy and unclean, there's a constant freezing draft, I have to wait for more than 20 minutes just to get noticed, I once received someone else's order before even getting a menu. Best place for Pho! My boyfriend and I come here at least once a week - we can't get enough! SUPER friendly service and food is always out quick. We get the 2P or 3P. We sometimes substitute the traditional rice noodles for vegetables and the staff is super accommodating. The sesame chicken is always good and the appetizer trio is our favorite. We used to love this place. It was close to home and the food was delicious. Lately, every time we pick up some food there are multiple problems with our order: no utensils, no limes or cilantro, missing pieces of our order, etc. This last time I ordered extra broth to go with my pho. They charged $3 for it, but it wasn't included. I called them back and they argued that the extra broth was put in the same container (which doesn't make sense because it usually comes full anyway). I explained this and asked for a refund which they begrudgingly agreed to...never got that refund. I won't be going back here again, and I don't recommend it to anyone else. read more

This place should be called PHO why? Just moved to SE Aurora and needed to find a new Pho restaurant. We love Pho. The google reviews show almost 5 stars ( should have checked yelp ). We found the broth to be very greasy/oily, but lacking in flavor. They did not have onions in their soup with the noodles, any other Pho place I have been to had onions in the soup. I ordered the Tofu/vegetarian, the veggies consisted of broccoli and cabbage, again other places at the very minimum also include carrots and mushrooms. They were very frugal with the noodles in my husbands soup. As far as cleanliness - the place needs work - the carpet in the dining area is black, I thought it was black carpet, then you look at the edges by the booths and really light carpet is poking through. This is disgusting, I don't think they have ever shampooed this carpet. And why would you have carpet in a restaurant. read more

Then two groups who came in after us got their food before us and when I asked to speak to a manager they said he was too busy and we could just leave if we weren't happy with our service from them.
