Excellent, veggie-friendly Thai food in Pullman! Their fried tofu is perfection! Never had a dissapointing dish there.

This is the ONLY Thai place the Palouse has to offer. The food is wonderful! The missus and I are big fans of the pineapple and avocado curry. Their quality is always consistent. Also the peanut sauce is an absolute delight, I could seriously just put the peanut sauce on only white rice and just eat it and nothing else. *The only complaint I have is that the wait can be fairly long at times. To accommodate this me and my wife will order our food before we get there so our food is ready when we arrive. read more

The food here is awesome and has complex flavors. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for tasty Thai food in the Pullman area. The portions are enough to comfortably split between two people, which makes for a very reasonably-priced meal if you can agree on what to order and the spiciness to order it at. Both my husband and I have had a different entree every time and have loved all of them. However, note that they aren't kidding about their spicy scale (4 stars). I cleared out my sinuses extremely well and spent the entire meal red and crying because I over-estimated what I could handle. Go with 1 or 1.5 stars until you know you can handle more unless you want to repeat my experience. My husband can handle a 3 most of the time though, so maybe I'm just a weenie. The only reason I took away a star is because they need to get their staffing out front figured out. Half of the time that we've eaten there, they had wait staff who were experienced and it was a great time. The other half of the time, they had staff who weren't trained as wait staff who forgot about us and so it took 15-30 minutes to place an order in addition to a combined 30-45 minutes after we'd finished eating to get our check and pay for our food. Thus, if they don't take our orders promptly, we do not to order sodas because we wouldn't get any refills. read more

This is my favorite restaurant in Pullman - I eat here regularly. The food is delicious - I love the avocado curry!

For a place in Pullman, WA, this place has amazing Thai food! Every time we come here, it's nothing but exceptional. If you've never been, ask about their heat ratings, as Hot is actually Hot! read more

Just had lunch here, and it was such amazing service!!! Also the food was very good!!! Had the pad ke mao and the pineapple curry! They were both amazing but I highly recommend the curry! read more

The food is delicious!!! But only if you're willing to wait about 45 min for your dinner. I recommend getting an appetizer!

The food is good and the staff are friendly...but they do take forever! This is especially true for take out, so only order when you have time. I wish I could rate 3.5 because of how slow it can be! Also, the prices on the menu posted to yelp are no longer accurate, just an FYI. read more

Outstanding food. Some of the best Thai I've had anywhere. The lunch special is a fantastic deal. The pineapple curry is highly recommended.

Just moved here from SoCal and was so happy to find good Thai food! That panang curry was great and my husband and I will be back soon!

My rating would be 4-star on the food, 2-star on the service. I really enjoy their curry dishes...the best in Pullman. I have eaten in once or twice and ordered take-out 8-10 times. Like the experiences of some of the other reviewers, sometimes service was quick, but often it was slow. I have waited 30-45 minutes for a single dish. That's too long for me, so I've started trying other restaurants. read more

I know the family that owns this restaurant and it's very good. I have had there cooking since before the restaurant opened.

Pretty good Thai food for Pullman, the Pad Thai and currys are very good for this small town without many good Asian options. The service is good for eating in or takeout. read more

We visit family in Pullman and I always look forward to making Phikun's Thai one of our meals together. The take-out is on point and we especially enjoy the Curry selections with Chicken. The Orange Chicken was really good too! The fried spring rolls are good as well. GREAT THAI SPOT read more

Nom nom nom nom. I love Phikun's its consistant and amazing especially for Pullman. Pad se ew and avocado curry with tofu are definitely my favorites. I get everything at 3.5 star spice level and its very spicy and very good. My only complaint with this place is that on busier nights the food can take close to 45 minutes to come out... thats just unacceptable service and something they really need to look into fixing because from 3 years ago when I moved to pullman and now people are starting to realize that small hole in the wall Thai place is a lot more like the Thai we are used to on the westside and that awful palace sized excuse for a Thai restaurant is garbage. read more

Best Thai food and Pad see ew in Pullman! Large portions for a good price. Phikun's has a ton of flavor and I always choose to go here when I'm in the mood for Thai. read more

The worst service of my entire life! The table was not clean, our server ignored us. The only time she came to our table was to toss menus at us on her way to talk to her friends at another table. It took 30 minutes for us to get our order taken and get waters, but that was only after I walked up to the counter to ask them to take our order. A different employe took our order, brought our waters, and brought out our food. We arrived at 7:00 pm, it was not busy, we did not get our food until after 8:00 pm. After we finished eating it took 20 minutes for them to bring us the check. We did not leave the restaurant until almost 9:00 pm. The only good thing was the food. If I ever go back it will only be to get take out. read more

Visited during lunch hour around 12 but only a handful of people in there. We got the Lunch combo with red curry, which was awesome .The tom yum noodle soup was just okay.Would have preferred a little less noodle and more soup. Also for a medium spice level,it was blazing hot.The 3 star is for the slow service,a 15 minute wait to get the order and another 35 minute wait for the food. They seemed to have a lot of take aways going on. read more

First time visiting and we were the only customers in the restaurant when we walked in around 1:30pm. Good menu. Clean facility. Friendly server. Fried prawn/cream cheese appetizer was not good and overcooked. I had the swimming something. (Beef with peanut sauce) It was cold. The peanut sauce was good and there was plenty of it. It had a strong amount of coconut milk. Overall the meal was ho hum. I would be willing to try it again to see if it was a fluke. read more

The dishes are extremely dirty and the service is HORRIBLE! If you eat here stay away from the waitress Isabella. She's a racist and a horrible waitress. The food isn't worth the nasty service my family and I received. read more

A surprisingly good Thai restaurant. Fresh spring salad rolls were large, filled with lots of fresh veggies and shrimp and had a nice peanut sauce. The Tom Ka veggie soup was served in a fire lit soup serving bowl and had loads of fresh veggies cooked to perfection. The pad kee mao noodles were fresh and soft, vegetables still crunchy and chicken sliced nice and thin and was tender. The service was good, a little slow, so don't be in a hurry - enjoy your company. read more

Food was awful, the pad thai smelled like dog pee, took at least 20 minutes to get water refills and the place wasn't even that busy. Awful customer service. read more

I loved their green curry, yellow curry, red curry... Well I wasn't just a fan of curries. My favorite dish in this restaurant was chicken satay. I could give them a five star if the service was faster. Prepare a 30-minute no food in this restaurant. read more

The food was really good. The star rating is legit. 4 stars is "crazy" and 3 stars is plenty hot. We enjoyed it. We went there during lunch and the service was a tad slow for my liking. The waitress seemed a little overwhelmed but our food still showed up hot and tasty. read more

Really good food. Portions are pretty huge. My friend and I ordered one pad thai together and we had leftovers for BOTH of us to take home separately. (However, we are two girls and we both don't eat a lot so... do keep that in mind.) However, seeing how others ordered, it does seem it's quite normal for two people to share one dish since the portions are so big. I tried the pad thai, duck curry, pad see ew, and crab fried rice. All of them were terrific (although I personally don't care much for fried rice in general). The duck curry was really something. The duck skin was kind of crunchy, which I loved. (However, they do run out of duck sometimes). Anyway, I stayed in pullman for a little over a week and I came here FIVE freakin times. Kept craving it. I live in seattle and I don't even have pad thai that often here. read more

Used to be good. But the quality has dropped a lot. I order here at least once per month. The pad Thai is bs now. No more bean sprouts, egg and peanut in it. Sauce tastes different or missing something too. I won't come again. Now I can't get any good Thai food in this town anymore. read more

Got there Mon eve about 6pm. Did not expect them to be that busy. The chef couldn't keep up with the orders so I had a good amount of waiting time. Was it worth it? Damn right. Place is a bit dirty looking/feeling. Heavy dust on the lights that hang above the table. Almost enough for chunks to fall off. Bench seating in the booth is very low and hard. For a tall big person it made it a bit uncomfortable waiting to eat. Was it worth it? Damn right! I was a little worried when the fresh rolls finally got there. They are huge. Easily twice the size of the biggest I have ever seen. Turns out they were very good. Maybe a bit more lettuce than I'd like, but they were very good. I had #69 BBQ chicken green curry. Outstanding! Perfectly prepared, except I'd like a few more veggies, and a large serving. And oh my, as good of curry as anywhere. Chicken in it was grilled and had a nice char that went with the curry perfectly. 5 stars for food, 3 for general ambiance and comfort. 4 stars seems right on. I will be back to eat the curry without a doubt. read more

I forgot someone worked here because of how long I waited...... took forever! They have one waitress and I'm sure they have 1 cook back there... must have had to make a fire in the back to cook food. Food was ok read more

This is the BEST Thai food I've ever had. The flavors are incredible, the food is fresh. I ordered the Lamb Curry and the lamb was tender and delicious. I've had several other dishes here, as well, but this was my favorite so far. I will second another reviewer... they are not your typical Thai food place when it comes to spice. Normally I order 5 stars and can barely taste the spice. I've started ordering 7 stars to let the restaurant know I'm not messing around. Here, I'm completely happy with 4 stars. 4 stars instead of 5 because: They are SLOW. read more

Ordered the avocado curry with extra avocado and a Thai beer. The avocado curry was delicious, but not as spicy as I expected. I wasn't asked about a spice level. The food was great, but the bottle of beer was way too expensive ($4) and it was an extra $2 just for a small bit more avocado. The portions could have been larger, but overall good experience. First time on this site; never heard of Yelp until the South Park episode. read more

Little bit of a wait but worth it. They have a wide selection of food for all tastes and I have never had anything taste bad. The duck is to die for. Also a must is you have to try the Thai coffee. It is so delicious. I recommend coming here to eat any time. read more

Best Thai food in Eastern Washington, portions are HUGE, the food has a lot of flavor and they don't take spiciness lightly. We came at 11:30 and the food came quickly out and steaming hot. Definitely worth the money and can't wait to come back again read more

I got the yellow curry and it was delicious. I only got 2 Star spicy and could have done the three star spicy but for most people 2 Star spicy would have been intense. The service was a little slow but they apologized and it was not really that slow. The food is being prepared fresh so I can understand having to wait for delicious food. The place does not look like much from the outside but when it comes to restaurants my favorites always look bad on the outside. read more

Our new favorite restaurant. Great variety of great favors. We can hardly wait to go back and try something else.

The food is good; however, the wait is agonizingly slow. We recently went to Phikun's for dinner and ordered within a few minutes of arrival. It took nearly 60-minutes for us to get our food and the place was not that busy. When our food did arrive it came at different times. My wife got her food first and was nearly done eating by the time my dinner arrived. I'm not sure the view (good food) is worth the climb (long wait / staggered food arrival). read more

They have great Pho and a wide variety of hot sauces for it. The atmosphere / interior could use some updating but that food is great.

Service was sooo bad. The waitress was rude. She grabbed stuff from my hand several times, for example when I was taking a box that she brought, she said it is for another person and grabbed it. She told me to sign the receipt and write the tip using a very rude language. Also, the food came soooooo late and we were waiting for around 50 minutes for food to get ready or the waitress was late again for it. read more

We waited one hour for food and they still didn't know where our food was. They were not even busy and the waiter did not bother to check on us. read more

Excellent avocado curry with tofu! Love all the vegan options here! Consistently high quality dishes.

Amazing food! The best yellow curry. Small space and the waiters take their time to sit you since it's popular. Needs more waiters
