Delicious preparation of seafood and fish we ordered which came with Jasmine rice. Quick service and right ambience. We loved every bite of spicy seafood and Pad ped catfish. We stopped in and ordered the shrimp spring rolls, but the shrimp was a bit dry and firm. The Thai Tea, however, was absolutely perfect -- creamy, sweet, and refreshing. I also had the Drunken Noodles with shrimp; once again, the shrimp was slightly overcooked, but the flavor of the noodles was great. I chose a 2 out of 5 spice level, which ended up being mild which was just right for me since I avoid too much spice when traveling. Parking was plentiful, and the restaurant is tucked between a shopping center and a gas station, so it's easy to miss if you're not local. Inside, it has a cozy, mom and pop feel. We even stayed a bit past closing, and the staff couldn't have been more kind or accommodating. Overall, friendly service and good flavors. I'd happily stop by again if I'm in the area! read more

We came later in the day, and we didn't realize they close at 8 just because times are inconsistent on all the apps. We left a bit before close around 7:45 and they turned the lights off right away and switched the sign to close. I thought it was a bit rude because it spread the message that we were taking up too much of their time and just wanted us to leave? We all got pad Thai, some of the chicken was extremely chewy, but some were good so I'm not sure why the inconsistency. I really enjoyed the tofu so next time I'll probably get tofu pad Thai. We sat inside and our waiter did not check up on us once except to drop off food. We had to walk up to him and say we want to pay and if we can get boxes, he was on his phone watching something the whole time. This is some solid Thai food. I try to eat Thai food everywhere I travel and I'm always happy that some of my favorite is close to home! My favorites are: Avocado Curry with chicken (I also add vegetables!) and I only get 1.5 stars for the spice level (it's out of four)... I also like their pineapple fried rice and their pad thai with chicken (I ask for extra sauce)...and they always oblige! It's now takeout only thanks to Covid, but the interior of the place isn't exactly what you'd call "inviting" anyway. I recommend calling about 30 minutes ahead of when you want to eat! read more

They get a 2 star because they had good mango sticky rice, but that was it. To start, customer service is non existent, you walk in the door and you feel invisible. The only people giving this 5 stars, has never eaten Thai food before. The orange chicken was bland, mushy and the veggies were old. Just felt lazy and they don't care. I've worked in food service before and understand food storage and prep. I challenge someone to do a blind taste test with this restaurant and Safeway. How this place has such a high rating leaves me baffled. Gross gross gross!!! I had the Pad Thai (which is all I can really judge it off of), but I eat a ton of Thai and this is by far the driest, weirdest tasting Thai food ever. I would also like to note that I was really hungry...so my expectations were not high. The wait is long, but that doesn't bother me so much. I eat a fair amount of Thai food and was presently surprised when I tried this spot. I'm a big Thai curry fan and when I travel I always try to find a good place and I'm usually very disappointed. This was the opposite. I decided to try the massaman curry. The food came out in a timely manner and the portions were HUGE! To me the real test is the potatoes. Some places over cook them and others under. These were cooked perfectly and had a generous portion of peanuts in the curry. I stop by sometimes for lunch. I have always enjoyed my food. My most recent visit included fresh spring rolls and yellow curry. The spring rolls were great, but the peanut sauce really made this appetizer better. The menu has a lot of options and even a lunch menu. Prices for lunch are reasonable, as well. I ordered the lunch portion of the yellow curry, at a 2 star for spiciness. It was the perfect level of spicy for me. The dish even came with a side of Pad Thai noodles, which were also good. The curry was flavorful and the portion was a good size. I even had leftovers. The dish had plenty of chicken, carrots, potatoes and onions in it. Service is often slow, regardless of how many people are in the restaurant. If you have some extra time, check this place out. read more

This is my favorite restaurant in Pullman, hands down! They have the best Thai food. I love the lunch specials where you can get an entree with pad thai (very yummy!) and soup. Phikun's is my go to Thai restaurant because they are one of the few places in pullman that does a good job at making the Thai food. I will say their service is pretty normal. Our food did not take too long for them to prepare and get out to us. I will say that if you are getting to go, then I would call ahead to pick up. Last time I had came in and asked to to go, they had told m it would be an hour wait. In addition, I will say that their food was on point and the portion size is huge. I love the Chicken Pad Thai. They provide a very generous portion. The first time I ordered a 1 star for spiciness and this time I decided to kick it up a bit and I tried a 2. My boyfriend did the same on his Pork Yakisoba, after our mouths cooled down we both came to the conclusion that we are better off sticking to a 1 star. The two would be great if you're looking to clear out your sinuses though. I quite enjoy spicy but the 2 star this time was a bit too much for me. I will definitely be coming back. I came here after having a point of comparison with Thai Ginger. Both are very good Thai places, but there are things that Phikun's obviously does right. I had the pineapple curry with tofu and I would say that the curry itself is thicker and more pleasant than Thai Ginger. Level of heat range from 0 to 4 and I decided to get a level 3 heat level.
