Excellent food - restaurant a bit dated but it is clean. The waiter does his best but he wears many hats in this small place and doesn't circle back with more water or to check if food is ok. read more

All three entrees were ok but not pad kra prow. Kra pow Kai down is our fave dish but here was very different. There were no ground chicken & eggs options, and the sauce tasted weird. Our fave thing here was the fried tofu. Service was a little slow since there were busy & only 1 waiter working. read more

Delicious preparation of seafood and fish we ordered which came with Jasmine rice. Quick service and right ambience. We loved every bite of spicy seafood and Pad ped catfish. The catfish was deep fried and then added on the bed of veggies. Different for taste buds but delicious. They are open only from 4pm to 9pm, I wish they open up for lunch too during summers! Perfect to catch up on some Thai iced tea, satay and khawsuey. read more

We stopped in and ordered the shrimp spring rolls, but the shrimp was a bit dry and firm. The Thai Tea, however, was absolutely perfect -- creamy, sweet, and refreshing. I also had the Drunken Noodles with shrimp; once again, the shrimp was slightly overcooked, but the flavor of the noodles was great. I chose a 2 out of 5 spice level, which ended up being mild which was just right for me since I avoid too much spice when traveling. Parking was plentiful, and the restaurant is tucked between a shopping center and a gas station, so it's easy to miss if you're not local. Inside, it has a cozy, mom and pop feel. We even stayed a bit past closing, and the staff couldn't have been more kind or accommodating. Overall, friendly service and good flavors. I'd happily stop by again if I'm in the area! read more

We came later in the day, and we didn't realize they close at 8 just because times are inconsistent on all the apps. We left a bit before close around 7:45 and they turned the lights off right away and switched the sign to close. I thought it was a bit rude because it spread the message that we were taking up too much of their time and just wanted us to leave? We all got pad Thai, some of the chicken was extremely chewy, but some were good so I'm not sure why the inconsistency. I really enjoyed the tofu so next time I'll probably get tofu pad Thai. We sat inside and our waiter did not check up on us once except to drop off food. We had to walk up to him and say we want to pay and if we can get boxes, he was on his phone watching something the whole time. I really like the food so I would come again but probably just for take-out and not to dine in. read more

Drove 40 minutes out of our way to get the pho. It is gross, do not get it. I have been to many pho restaurants around Washington and have never been this disappointed. They don't even use a bone broth. It is basic chicken broth. Not to mention the first time we called they didn't even answer. We thought that maybe they were just busy, when we got there, there was ONE group eating. read more

The best restaurant in the region! Service is always quick & friendly, but the food is PHENOMENAL! We've tried so many different items and each one is incredible! You cannot go wrong eating here. Best Thai food you'll ever have, we're so lucky to have Phikun's in Pullman. read more

Food is always really good but the service is probably one of the slowest place I've ever been. Order it online and it said 40 mins, got to the place waited here for another 40 mins, so an hour and a half later finally got the food. at the time there was only 1 table and another take out, if you want to order from them you need to order at least 1.5 hours ahead to get your food... read more

Thai in Pullman! Had green curry chicken 3 stars in a lunch combo which included a small side of pad Thai and soup! Price is what the price is in 2023...meaning the price is appropriate. Would recommend before other places in Pullman! read more

Not if you're in a hurry, but best Thai food in Pullman!! If you have time for a leisurely lunch this is the place, prices are reasonable and potions are generous. The curries are very good and highly recommend the shrimp salad rolls. read more

So nice to find good Thai food on the Palouse. The woonsen was very good and not too oily. good pad thai and curry as well. Very personable and helpful service. Looking forward to my next meal! read more

Love their Kao Soy with tofu and vegetables. Even in west side WA we have a hard time finding this Thai dish. Their massaman curry is good too. read more

This is some solid Thai food. I try to eat Thai food everywhere I travel and I'm always happy that some of my favorite is close to home! My favorites are: Avocado Curry with chicken (I also add vegetables!) and I only get 1.5 stars for the spice level (it's out of four)... I also like their pineapple fried rice and their pad thai with chicken (I ask for extra sauce)...and they always oblige! It's now takeout only thanks to Covid, but the interior of the place isn't exactly what you'd call "inviting" anyway. I recommend calling about 30 minutes ahead of when you want to eat! read more

Really good pad thai noodles. The best I've had in a while, friendly service. Family-friendly casual dining. A must go anytime I am in town. read more

Order takeout from here and then order some more! It is delicious. Portions are enough food for two meals and the to go containers they use are gold in my house (the nice plastic ones)! I always go here for the Massaman curry! It's some of the best I've had. Definitely make sure to call in advance, it's a popular place so the wait times can get pretty long with to go at dinner time! read more

They get a 2 star because they had good mango sticky rice, but that was it. To start, customer service is non existent, you walk in the door and you feel invisible. The only people giving this 5 stars, has never eaten Thai food before. The orange chicken was bland, mushy and the veggies were old. Just felt lazy and they don't care. I've worked in food service before and understand food storage and prep. I challenge someone to do a blind taste test with this restaurant and Safeway. I wanted to like this place, given there isn't many options in town. Maybe I'll give it another chance in a year or two, who knows. read more

My pho came with not a drop of broth. Just a container FULL of noodles. The salad rolls are a horrible version of thai spring rolls. I called and explained my problem and the manager proceeded to tell me that he's sorry and next time ask for my broth on the side. No offer to make amends, just told to hope they don't fk me over next time. Absolutely unacceptable. Their food is not cheap and I wasted about $20 on inedible food. I'm never going back. Disgusting business practice. read more

Phikun's is where my love for Thai yellow curry began. I only lived in Pullman for 9 months, and ever since then I have been trying to make/find anything that can compare. I've gotten close, but it is literally the best yellow curry I have ever had (and that's been a lot since it became my favorite food). So basically, yellow curry is now my favorite food because of this place so everyone should try it. read more

Almost every town has at least 1 Thai restaurant but out of all the food towns I've lived in this is THE best! Seems as close to what I assume is authentic and the spice is amazing. I generally order 5 stars at places and find that to still be lacking but a 2 here is plenty. My only complaint is that they aren't in the town I live in:( read more

One of my favorite restaurants. It is very spicy and I reduce the number of stars I ask for. Always very tasty.

How this place has such a high rating leaves me baffled. Gross gross gross!!! I had the Pad Thai (which is all I can really judge it off of), but I eat a ton of Thai and this is by far the driest, weirdest tasting Thai food ever. I would also like to note that I was really hungry...so my expectations were not high. The wait is long, but that doesn't bother me so much. The food was just so awful and the guy at the counter was very unfriendly. Do yourself a favor and save your money as it's a few dollars more than average. read more

After living in Northern Thailand for 6 years, Phikun's is my go to place in Pullman!

I eat a fair amount of Thai food and was presently surprised when I tried this spot. I'm a big Thai curry fan and when I travel I always try to find a good place and I'm usually very disappointed. This was the opposite. I decided to try the massaman curry. The food came out in a timely manner and the portions were HUGE! To me the real test is the potatoes. Some places over cook them and others under. These were cooked perfectly and had a generous portion of peanuts in the curry. It was so full of meat and veggies that I maybe could have had a little more of the curry "sauce" (not sure what you call it) but I'm not complaining. I'll be back here again for sure! read more

I stop by sometimes for lunch. I have always enjoyed my food. My most recent visit included fresh spring rolls and yellow curry. The spring rolls were great, but the peanut sauce really made this appetizer better. The menu has a lot of options and even a lunch menu. Prices for lunch are reasonable, as well. I ordered the lunch portion of the yellow curry, at a 2 star for spiciness. It was the perfect level of spicy for me. The dish even came with a side of Pad Thai noodles, which were also good. The curry was flavorful and the portion was a good size. I even had leftovers. The dish had plenty of chicken, carrots, potatoes and onions in it. Service is often slow, regardless of how many people are in the restaurant. If you have some extra time, check this place out. read more

There is decent Thai food in Pullman! If you're craving Thai every now and then and you're out here in the country this would be the place to go. We ordered the basics chicken pineapple fried rice, beef pad see ew, chicken phad Thai. and the plain avocado salad. All were fine, good , hot, fresh. Best ethnic food in Pullman. Great ambiance and service. Fair prices.

This is my favorite restaurant in Pullman, hands down! They have the best Thai food. I love the lunch specials where you can get an entree with pad thai (very yummy!) and soup. My favorite lunch special is the panang curry! For dinner, I love the Kao Gai Yang house special or the Kao Soy. Recently, I've been obsessed with the Tom Kha soup. The ambience of the restaurant is also very nice. read more

Phikun's is my go to Thai restaurant because they are one of the few places in pullman that does a good job at making the Thai food. I will say their service is pretty normal. Our food did not take too long for them to prepare and get out to us. I will say that if you are getting to go, then I would call ahead to pick up. Last time I had came in and asked to to go, they had told m it would be an hour wait. In addition, I will say that their food was on point and the portion size is huge. I also will say that their Thai Tea is awesome. Get no ice, so you can get more Thai tea. Overall, if you're craving Thai, they do a good job with satisfying that craving. read more

I love the Chicken Pad Thai. They provide a very generous portion. The first time I ordered a 1 star for spiciness and this time I decided to kick it up a bit and I tried a 2. My boyfriend did the same on his Pork Yakisoba, after our mouths cooled down we both came to the conclusion that we are better off sticking to a 1 star. The two would be great if you're looking to clear out your sinuses though. I quite enjoy spicy but the 2 star this time was a bit too much for me. I will definitely be coming back. I can't wait to try more items on their menu. We also tried the Thai Coffee and Thai Iced Tea, both were delicious!! read more

I came here after having a point of comparison with Thai Ginger. Both are very good Thai places, but there are things that Phikun's obviously does right. I had the pineapple curry with tofu and I would say that the curry itself is thicker and more pleasant than Thai Ginger. Level of heat range from 0 to 4 and I decided to get a level 3 heat level. It's not for the faint of heart if you don't have the resilience to endure a lot of heat, but for those who are more use to it, level 3 and 4 heat are good kicks to your taste buds. It was fairly busy around dinner time, but not too busy to the point that you can't get a table. The service was very attentive to our table of 5. read more

I've been trying to find decent Thai food in Pullman since moving here last year. I have tried a few places but nithing was super satisfying, so when I ordered from Phikun's last night, I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the pork spring rolls and the Pad See Ew with beef at medium heat. It was just want I needed. It was hot, but still flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I will definitely be ordering here again. A new favorite. read more

I've always enjoyed this place until today. Here for my sons graduation and they obviously forgot my order and then when they finally brought it out after everyone was done it wasn't to my specifications. Didn't eat it. Paid for it. My bad.
