Food 4.3 Service 4.5 Helping daughter move into a new apartment for Senior year at WSU and we were in the mood for pizza. We were also hoping that Porchlight was open since many businesses were still closed since WSU has not started the semester yet. The Popeye (fancy pepperoni) & Bell-mo (buffalo chicken) were ordered, both pizza tasted great and fresh while service was fast and friendly. Used to love Porchlight but tried to order tonight and was informed by the employee that the new management has decreed that they are not allowed to take precautions to protect people who have health impacts and wan a gluten free pizza. Although it was never guaranteed to be safe they were always willing to use fresh ingredient bins to reduce risk and I ate here safely regularly. I was a big supporter because they always took care of me and the food was good but seems new management is making changes that make it impossible for me to continue eating here. Came here on a cold rainy day and looking for something quick to eat. When we walked in it was fairly cold on the inside and felt like there wasn't any heat. We ordered the Margherita pizza and Caprese salad and both were pretty good. The pizza was wood fire which is always a bonus and the crust was tin and crispy. The salads balsamic reduction was solid however the salad itself was nothing to write home about. What was really negative about our experience was the service. After we finished our initial pizza, we placed an order for another one. We waited 30 minutes only to find out that they never printed the ticket. I really enjoyed this pizza place. Personally I kind of compare it to Mod pizza, as you can pick toppings for your pizza. Yet I think the ingredients and more fresh then Mod. I also really like the Caesar salad. It was delicious and went well with the pizza. The porch pizza was good. I just think had a little bit too much Barbecue sauce. I've had this place multiple times since living in Pullman and I've never had a bad experience. It's located in downtown Pullman a little far from campus but it gets a lot of foot traffic from what I can tell. I've tried a couple different pizzas but by far my favorite is the margarita pizza, they only come in 2 sizes that being a kids pizza and a personal sized pizza so if you go with a lot of people you'll have to get multiple pizzas. The service is good and they are always pretty nice and fast, never have to wait very long. The building itself is very welcoming and open. the way the pizzas are made reminds me a lot of Mod pizza but more local, overall I will be returning to this place and would definitely recommend to anyone in the Pullman/Moscow area. read more

We arrived around 5pm, so before the crowd rolled in around 6pm. We split a Popeye and a Geno, as well as an order of cheesy bread. (Don't judge, we'd been subsisting on airplane food/snacks for 12 hours). Everything was fantastic. The Geno was good, but the Popeye was GREAT! We scored the last stall on the side street beside the building just as a guy (we later learned was named Mike) was coming out to take a smoke break. We turned the corner and holy moly the line was out the door! Every table was filled, inside and out. We checked the website and saw that Door Dash was available so we decided to go back to the car and place an order then have it delivered to our place. Mike stopped us and asked if we were gonna stay to dine in. We said we were gonna get it Door Dash'd and he let us know they stopped using the service because DD would jump the line and everyone waiting to make an order kept getting pushed back. I thought that was super considerate to let us know instead of letting us find out the hard way. He also said he would get it out to us as fast as he could ... we later saw he's the one manning the fire oven! I asked what I should get and he recommended the Silk - peanut sauce and curry ranch whaaaaat? So glad I listened! We ended up getting 3 different pizzas because they come in two sizes : the regular size (10") for $8.35 and the kid's size (5") for $4.17 - such a great way to try a bunch of different things. I have celiac disease, so I was recommended porch light pizza for their gluten free crust. It isn't a dedicated gluten free facility, but for what it's worth, I haven't gotten sick any of the times I've eaten there and they always take time to ask about allergies.
