If I'm near downtown and craving a burger and beer, I am probably about to walk over to My Office. They have many draft beer options and the menu is available on the DigitalPour app so you don't have to look at the screens above the bar. We have also enjoyed some non-alcoholic options here. I'm not sure if they have any of the fancy new NA options I've seen around but they've been happy to just make normal drinks NA (and they're sometimes about the price of a soda). Why not 5 stars? I've had some undercooked and/or overcooked (struggling to remember which but I think both have happened) potatoes, a disappointing soup special, and 1-2 other food mishaps here. I don't usually watch sports but this is probably a great place for it. They have many TVs. I haven't played pool or darts here either but that's also available. I've seen it packed (especially on Friday nights) so I try to stop by during quieter times. read more

Came here after finals with some friends to celebrate. We ordered food and drinks and then realized they do not allow minors inside at all. At that point we asked them to cancel our food orders so we could all leave and the manager was very upset and rude. She said very loudly across the room we should charge anyone who tries to cancel their food orders as it costs the business money. We had only ordered fries and chicken strips and heard the cook say "I didn't even start the orders yet is it's fine". The manager scared away the ONLY customers in the bar. One word: racism. My Office is one of the few places in town that shows international soccer games, so a group of colleagues and I frequently visit. Our group includes me (an American), Europeans, Asians, and Africans. This Friday, a member of our group was asked for his ID and A PHYSICAL COPY OF HIS PASSPORT (a scan would not suffice). He was not even trying to order alcohol, just a coke. Needless to say, this was a non-white member of our group. No other member of our group was asked for this, even the ones who ordered alcohol, even the ones who were also obviously international Europeans with accents. After the ID fiasco, our friend was still basically denied service by nobody bringing him his drink (despite everyone else getting what they ordered). My Office: do not contact me, you will never get our business again. If this truly isn't the character of your business, fire that bartender and retrain the rest of your staff. It's not acceptable to treat people so blatantly discriminatory. read more

Expect to wait at least 10 minutes before you are even noticed because waitstaff is too busy talking to friends, counting tips, or complaining about customers. Ruins the whole experience. You've got to appreciate the charm of a place where the waitstaff is totally friendly about the fact that sometimes the patrons are sitting there with a green face looking like they're about to throw up. I have been visiting this bar fairly regularly for Over 5 years. The service has recently gone to hell in a hand basket. Most recently, I was denied service after having only 1 drink, and the reason was I was fidgetting too much. My fidgetting consisted of only spinning my drink coaster under my finger only a few times. On top of a very rude barista, the cleanliness was less than acceptable, with a disgusting layer of dust, dirt, and grime on their clear glass wear. The coolest thing about this bar is the name. Professors of mine would always say that they were going to be "at my office" for the remainder of the day, and us informed college kids always knew better than to fall for their somewhat lame inside joke. This is a great off-campus choice for a drink (or four) if you are "so over the campus party scene" already. After a night of drinking, we always hit up My Office for the 'out later than usual' crowd. It is very easy to get a drink here, and if you are ever there before the kitchen closes, you can actually get things OTHER than bar food. Think salads and sandwiches with fruit! It is very yummy too. Of course they also have the bar standards of nachos (unbelieveably huge!). The servers are all great, and the bartenders usually are too. During games the place is packed. Tuesdays are the dart leagues. The jukebox is great for some drunken impromptu dance parties. read more

This is one of the few places on a Sunday morning with people actually watching football. Plenty of screens for the sports enthusiast to see all of the games being played, and a pretty decent beer list too. More than just the normal Palouse lineup. Haven't tried the food yet, though. *sigh* To be young again... This was a regular staple in Pullman for me and my group of friends back in the good ol' days (2007-2009). I remember it was a good place for watching sports, getting drunk and decent bar food all for a reasonable price. It is not a good place to bring in a whiskey preserved scorpion to eat at the bar. The staff were always friendly and lively, even though we were often the few college students that came by. It is a nice change up from the college/greek scene at Valhalla and Stubblefield's. I will try and make this a regular stop for my trips to Pullman and suggest visitors try and make the trek here also. read more
