Great little bar in a charming town. This place is paired with Brava. The staff here is friendly and the drinks are strong. Enjoy the upbeat atmosphere. There were some guys dressed up to wish a friend good bye. Fun place.

Unfortunately,…read morewe have never had the pleasure of dining at Zany's in Lewiston until February 20, 2026, when we hosted 13 family and friends and a very well-behaved baby. Firstly, the atmosphere inside is astounding. Every seat offers an interesting view, a fascinating collection of art, artifacts, vintage photographs, fossils, Idaho/Washington memorabilia and material culture including a vintage toy train that is elevated above part of the dining room, tracks and all. This is a cool place! This establishment has a sense of community, it's not a hidden gem to the people of Lewiston/Clarkston but a local institution, an iconic eatery, a culinary hot spot. The menu offers a gastronomic journey around the world. The sushi was on par with the best sushi anywhere. The California Roll was pure artistry, a delicate balance of flavors, clean tastes, high quality ingredients expertly prepared in a show kitchen in the center of the dining room. The Street Tacos, both fish and carnitas, Fajitas, Tempura Salmon Rolls, Shrimp Ceviche, and Crab Rangoon were a testament to the talent of the culinary team, they looked as appealing as they tasted. I had the Prime Rib, a generous portion cooked perfectly, and it literally melted in my mouth. One of the kids ordered chicken fillets and I expected the run of the mill frozen fillets that you can get anywhere, not at Zany's, they create them in house with fresh chicken, crispy batter and refreshing homemade ranch dip. Don't miss the signature Chicken Tortilla Soup and save room for a selection from their decadent dessert selection. Your visit will reveal why they are an Idaho legend. The service was impeccable. I wished I could recall the names of the servers, bartenders and others: they were attentive, knowledgeable and friendly who anticipated our needs without being obtrusive. Our large group received our appetizers and then our entrees with perfect timing, smooth and seamless, a blend of efficiency, professionalism, and genuine warm hospitality. Our Lewiston friends proudly proclaimed that the food and service are consistently excellent at Zany's, and they always prefer to entertain their out-of-town guests with visit to Zany's. We highly recommend Zany's. Dining here was a delightful experience from start to finish. The ambiance, professionalism, cleanliness, eclectic menu offerings, attention to detail were remarkable and the prices for food and service of this caliber are a rare bargain. We can hardly wait to return on our next visit to Lewiston. Thank you! Keep up the good work! Michael & Sherri Hayes Kalispell, Montana

It was Sunday at lunchtime and it wasn't crowded but we had nice options of indoor or outdoor seating. There is tons of room in either choice. We chose the bar. Service was very friendly and gave great recommendations. I had a delicious cider and my husband had a decent pale ale. We split the prime rib dip and it was amazing! We both agreed it might've been the best we've ever had. The french fries were delish. It was a great experience!

It's much better than some of these older reviews show, as it was changed in about 2022 when the hotel changed and remodeled. I've been going for years now, and sure, there's staff turnover. And sometimes they don't always hire the best of the best. But sometimes they do. The food is good, the burgers are good. The service is usually good as well. It is more of a sports bar and sometimes there's live music, so if you're looking for a white tablecloth and black tie affair, this is not the place you're looking for. If you want some beers and burgers with some sports on the tele, stop on in!

Lots of bacon lardons to give more depth to the pasta. Very tasty. The lamb is delicious, though the crust was a little salty for my taste. Ask for it to be medium rare + so you get the nice cool red. There are 6 lambchops served with a couscous salad and tzakiti. If you like lamb, get this. The roasted chicken is amazing. So so so good. Perfectly done with a side of kale and nice size croutons, crunchy and buttery. Ordered the dip appetizer and the pita is soft as a vessel to try 3 different dips - one is garlicky with breadcrumbs (it's more addicting than you think), feta with a roasted pepper and tzakiti. All tasty! Didn't leave room for dessert. Next time!

My favorite item on their appetizer menu is the cheese plate. I don't like crackers so I've started ordering it with some extra apple slices instead of the crackers. The goat cheese panna cotta itself is delicious but the best part is that the seasonal sides are amazing and change very frequently. It's a positive example of a dish never being exactly the same. I've always had great service at the bar. The only complaint I've heard was from a grad student we know who ordered multiple items and didn't realize they forgot his entree until everyone at the table was almost done eating. Thankfully the group had plenty to talk about so they didn't mind it being a long dinner. Finally... the drinks. The only regret I've had was ordering a beer when they have such a fantastic cocktail menu. I am a fan of their non alcoholic cocktails currently but I do enjoy occasionally ordering from the main menu.
