The place is a little loud, so keep that in mind should you stop in. They do have a reasonable selection of bar drinks and beers, but nothing over the top. Brock's is one of the classiest, more aesthetically pleasing bars in Lewiston. If you're there on a Wednesday night, grab one of their rotating beers and try challenging some semi-undefeated professors at trivia. If you happen to be there on a Saturday night, you're in for some live music. If it's a Saturday in the summer, chances are that the music will be in their trendy, open courtyard (note: music pairs well with gooey nachos). read more

Cozy place! Food and cocktails are on point. Craft style cocktails with a bartender that REALLY caters and makes sure the "drinker" is satisfied! Lol Service was stellar! If your not a local this place is not easy to locate. We are traveling away from home and this place was CRAZY hard to find. It's in the back of Bravas. It's inside of what feels a little like an office building, in the back. Trivia night is popular and busy. Side note, there are no barstools at the bar rail during trivia. Finally! A real craft cocktail bar in Lewiston! The menu of cocktails is extensive and the service is OUTSTANDING. Our bartender, Porter, was not only helpful with selecting just the right drink for each member of our party, he also was knowledgeable about the origin of the drink and was enthusiastic about making our experience amazing. The atmosphere was fun, with live music, but easy for our party of four to have a conversation. I am absolutely appalled by the service i recieved tonight. This was my first time visiting the restaurant. I loved the atmosphere, it was a very chill, quiet, super cute cafe/bar style place. I came in tonight with a small group for the trivia--had issues with my group and was hardy able to participate but besides the fact. I was not given a menu. I was not spoken to by the waiter/waitress, I was not asked at all what I wanted to order. The group I was with literally had to go up and order for me-- I wanted what i got plain, instead they put everything on it. I didnt even get a drink at that point. No one gave me a tab, no one came to check on me AT ALL for the hour and a half I was there, my friend just put my food on her tab because she ate most of it. No one even came to take my plate after the half hour I was finished with it. I understand if you guys stay a bit open late so youre understaffed during Trivia night. I understand being busy with other customers during trivia. But as my first time being there and being secluded not only from my group but from the entire restaurants staff, I will NOT be returning unless i go with a group for trivia. I was expecting basics at the minimum, I am astonished that not even a simple customer such as myself could not even be worthy of something like that. read more

I wish I had a better experience but I didn't. We were there for my wife's office Christmas party and it was a mess. The service was slow, my wife and I got our food well after everyone else and they forgot my salad. Service was spotty with one server looking like he was in over his head and the other on the verge of a meltdown. Throw in the pricey, albeit very good, drinks and I was very underwhelmed. Heard good things about Brock's from around the Valley, and I'm a big fan of Simple Eats(sister restaurant), so the girlfriend and I decided to try it out last week after work. Walked in to a beautiful atmosphere...great lighting, beautiful brick building, and great MUSIC! There was a young woman playing cover songs on her guitar and she was amazing. We saw that there were a few tables open, and asked the hostess if we could grab one...she said they were reserved and we could sit at the bar, but we would get one once a table became available. Once we were seated, it took almost 10 minutes for our waitress to come over just for drinks. She was nice, but we rarely saw her throughout the night which was a huge problem...took another 5 minutes or more to GET our drinks after ordering them....we finished them quickly, and in shocking fashion, didn't see our waitress for another 10-15 minutes to order more. About 45 minutes and two drinks each later, we finally flagged her down to order food. Oh, and by the way, several people had come in at that point without reservations and were given tables...this was annoying, but the least of our worries at that point. After ordering food, it took about 30 minutes for it to actually arrive. I got a chicken breast with a mushroom sauce, rice pilaf, and some vegetables, while the girlfriend got spaghetti and meatballs. My chicken was cooked nicely, sauce was ok, rice was good, vegetables were good. However, it was probably the smallest chicken breast I have ever seen. I finished it all extremely quickly due to the overall tiny portion size. The spaghetti was, for lack of a better phrase, not good. The sauce tasted like it was out of a can, the spaghetti didn't taste fresh, and the meatballs were average. The lady friend was also supposed to get a salad and bread with it...those never came, so she asked our long-lost waitress for them(mainly because she didn't like the spaghetti and wanted SOMETHING to eat), and the waitress said she didn't think it came with those. I had to actually point out to the restaurant's employee on the menu that it did... So the salad came out about 15 minutes later, and it was terrible. No dressing, old lettuce, just blah. We finally just needed to get out of there, so we asked for the check...and as you may have guessed, that took an extra 15 minutes to get to us. The waitress told us she "took a percentage off" of the bill because she forgot the salad(by the way, we never got the bread). I guess she must have meant roughly 1% off the bill because there was no noticeable difference in what we would have paid anyway. After over 2 hours of mostly sitting around waiting for things, we got out of there as quickly as possible and won't look back. Overall, bad service, mediocre/bad food, and overpriced for what you get. If it wasn't for the live music and look of the place, I'd be giving this place no stars, which isn't even possible. Also, the signature drinks weren't bad, just far too small. Very disappointed in my experience, and hope for their sake that it was just an off night. read more

I don't know what happened over the past few months but they have gained the Worst waitress I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. Ashly rudely snapped back and back talked to me after I politely asked if we could order drinks after we had been waiting for over an hour. I am suprised this establishment is still functional with such an inept waitress. Avoid this place. Its disapointing that a great place can go down hill like this. read more

Very disappointed. We made a reservation 3 weeks in advanced and were told we couldn't have the time we wanted because it was already booked. 6 tables were empty the whole time we were there. Waitress did not know any of the specials and did not offer anything when she came to our table 20 min after we sat ourselves down. For $10-$20 a plate I expect service and food to be impeccable. The salad I ordered was brown and I had to wait until I was finished with my VERY SMALL meal to get the dressing, and when I pointed this out to the waitress she replied "But everything else is good, right?!" After this, I was still charged for the salad. This was a celebration for our engagement and I really expected more. The drinks were great and the stuffed mushrooms were too, but everything else tasted like catered food, blah. We were also over over-charged because the happy hour times changed from when we reserved our table to when we actually came in. To top it off, when we walked out majority of the wait staff were smoking outside the front door and we had to walk through it to exit. My sister has gone here before and said her waiter had a dip in his mouth as he served her. I really expected more and will not be back again. I wish we would have celebrated our engagement at Jollymore's or Seasons, or just expected Applebee's food and service. This would get 0 stars if it weren't for the drinks, even though I think they are also small for the price of 8-10 dollars. read more
