I would definitely recommend if they had had fresh coffee or if she had offered an Americano

Great Lunch Experience @ Meriwether's Bistro in Lewiston, ID. !!…read more We entered the hotel and made our way passed the lobby to this Bistro. We were greeted, directed to seat ourselves, and decided to pick a high top table in the bar area looking out into the patio. The restaurant was clean and inviting with only a couple of other parties present upon arrival at noon on a weekday, but it was soon quite busy. Our bar keep/server Bert was professional, friendly, and good company! We had entertaining conversations with him while he provided great service. Our freshly brewed ice teas were in huge oversized beer mugs, which we loved! The spinach artichoke dip with toasted crostini appetizer was out-of-this-world!! The smoked brisket sandwich and chicken Caesar wrap was mouth-watering delicious and the side of regular and sweet potato fries were perfectly crisp!!! Needless to say, we had a five star experience all the way around.

From the moment we walked in, the space took our breath away. The mural behind the bar is a masterpiece on its own, and the lighting, layout, and attention to detail made the atmosphere feel upscale yet inviting. We ordered a cider flight that came beautifully presented, and each pour had its own unique character. The food was equally impressive--our starter (a creamy cheese spread topped with candied nuts and roasted peppers) was rich, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the fresh baguette. Every detail from presentation to flavor was dialed in. This is one of those places you don't expect to find in a small town--it completely elevates the dining and drink scene here. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates great ambiance, good food, and thoughtfully crafted drinks.

I like that they tend to have new things to try each time we stop by. They frequently have wine tastings on Thursdays (4-7pm) but we haven't stayed for any yet. Maybe next year. We used to frequently also buy lemonade here but sadly they stopped selling Fentimans Victorian Lemonade several months ago. They have 1-2 other similar options but we don't like them as much. I believe we've met two employees and the owner so far. Everyone has been really nice.
