The restaurant had a quaint downtown feel with a welcome lack of pretension. And the food was 5-star level. We started with the chilled caprese which was light and delicious. The balsamic drizzle, one of my favorites, really added to the depth of flavor. My wife ordered the salmon which came with a phenomenal sauce. It was tangy and tasted of dill and really elevated an already flavor- packed meal. I had the Thai pasta dinner which was a fusion of Thai flavors with an Italian flair. It will be one of my new favorites with the Thai spices in the sauce covering spiral noodles. If you are looking for fancy food with a "friend next door" vibe. Brava's is for you.

The patio was fantastic because I have a small Pomeranian that I wanted to have with me and it was misted and there was a fan so it was perfect. Jessica, the server is fantastic. She was super helpful and accommodating, and took the time to walk me through specials and lunch options when I told her I would be back during the week. I've been there twice so far and I've had the peaches Bruschetta, which is my absolute favorite, I've had the watermelon salad, which is great, I would maybe not put the raspberry sauce on it when ordering, I've had a burger and the ravioli that was on special. Pineapple upside down cake with ice cream was good but my favorite was a pineapple chantilly cake. Anyways, everything you get there is good. The service is great. This definitely makes my time in Lewiston much more pleasant!

On a road trip with my son from AZ to WA and stopped in Clarkston on night 3. We wanted to eat…read moresomewhere with a good view and found Rooster's Waterfront Restaurant on Yelp. We got right in and asked to be seated on the patio as the sun would be going down over the next hour. The patio is right up on the Snake River offering a great view for our dinner! Walking through the interior was also quite the visual feast...a handful of large rooms and a large bar with a bunch of motley decorations everywhere. The nicest looking room was a rotunda in the back but nobody was sitting in there...not sure if it's for private events only. The menu had a lot of choices...which in my years of dining usually means they offer quantity over quality. And that came to fruition as we received and ate our meals. I ordered the Hazel's Famous Fried Shrimp and my son got the Cod N Chips. These were the smallest shrimp I've ever seen in the restaurant...the broccoli dwarfed it! The breading was also awful as it was soggy and falling off the shrimp. If these are famous, I'd hate to see the shrimp that didn't get the part. My son said his cod was 'alright' but said the tartar sauce was the worst tartar sauce he's ever had. It looked like curdled 2% milk. The table we sat at on the patio was tiny and barely held the two dinner plates. The chairs were also cheap metal and my back and bottom were sore after an hour. At least our server was friendly...and when she asked 'how was your meal' when picking up our dishes, we said it wasn't great and she replied 'yeah...' and walked back inside. That was actually a pretty funny way to end the meal.

Our server, put in the wrong food order, and we didn't get the food until around 8:50. At that point I just wanted to leave and didn't want it remade. The girl who brought it out rolled her eyes and walked away when I asked for the check. No real apology and no effort to make it right. My friend still had to pay for her drink after we had been there over an hour and never got the correct food. The server never even came back. They sent a busser over to handle the checks. Definitely will not be coming back. This is somewhere I come often. Unfortunately, not anymore.

The Station 3 burger on sour dough is a go-to staple. Just awesome! 9 times out of 10 though, we frequent Station 3 for breakfast. Try the Station 3 Scramble (not on the menu, but they will make it for you anytime). The Garbage Browns and Chicken Fried Steak are outstanding as well. All of their breakfast offerings are very good. Even Bite Size and Eggs hits the spot, on occasion. We take every visiting guest here for breakfast, and without failure, the friendly staff always asks about them, their trip, home, etc. Super service!
