Blackened Shrimp Taco's & Clam Chowder

Food was good and the service was great. Had the Lumber Jack burger. Blueberry BBQ was different but good. The one thing though that is bothersome is the aquariums are filthy. Eating and the seeing this tank dirty doesn't put a person at ease wondering if other places in the restaurant are just as dirty.

Great service, good grub, and an amazing view! Well worth the ride from Rathdrum on a day off looking for a good motorcycle ride.

We each ordered tacos, as it was taco Tuesday! I can't begin to tell you how flavorful they were. Val had shrimp and there were at least 5 shrimps per taco, with cabbage and a vinaigrette dressing. I had the pulled pork, scrumptious and the sauce, yum! These were huge, we didn't need anything else, but just had to share a lava cake. Over the top, mmmmm! Every thing in this place was cool, lots of aquarium's and old fishing equipment! Great decor. They also have a covered deck overlooking the river, too hot to sit out side that day.

We came here after some hiking in the area and it was a solid burger joint. There were a lot of different, bombastic signs around - the decor is a bit hit or miss. Some signs were funny and others were a bit ridiculous, but contributed to the interesting vibe of the place. There's an outdoor area by the river that has little domes. The domes are very cute, but lack a lot of air circulation so we got a bit hot (even though it was a bit chilly outside). The burgers themselves were good and solid: I ordered the Lumber Snack and it came with asparagus, which I've never had in a burger before. The asparagus wasn't really noticeable in it though since the burger packed so much. I've never had blueberry bbq sauce on a burger and that was very good/interesting - if you're down to try new foods, it is a great thing to order. I got a side of mac & cheese and it was very forgettable. I wouldn't recommend this side dish - it tasted like plain mac and cheese you could make yourself at home. A friend ordered the fries and they were good. We also ordered the root beers and I'd strong recommend: those were excellent.

The food is excellent. I had the 6oz sirloin and baked potato. Both were done to perfection. I like my potato hot and they made sure that it was. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. We are both in the dining room and in the lounge. Both offered great ambiance, decorated very cute and beautiful river views. We thoroughly enjoyed eating there. The prices are right in line.

The food was decent. The prices great. Service was reasonably good. They accommodated some dietary requests that were made and offered half portions. Bottom line, I'd return.

Nice view of the water. Great service. Great food - you get what you expect. I wish I took a photo of the dessert, she recommended this pie and I can't remember what it was, chocolate maybe .... had nuts in it, I don't know but it. was. bomb.

Various flavors and the seafood actually tasted fresh even though Idaho isn't close to any salt water.

The upstairs has the kitchen and dining area. But there's also the downstairs, basement dining and bar which practically lends to a speakeasy vibe. Each time I've visited I've opted for the bar, as I'm usually dining solo. The menu is small, but the food is done so well. I also look at the specials. One time they offered an Ivory King Salmon, I've never heard of it before and looked it up. Apparently it's very rare and makes up on 5% of King Salmon species. Super glad I ordered it, it's buttery, mild flavor reminded me of black cod. But their other menu items are nothing to ignore. I've had the roasted marinated lamb, and they also offer $15 dollar pasta Wednesdays. Recently I had the Linguine with meatballs, it tasted homemade - like the Nonna's were in the kitchen! IF I have space for dessert, I usually opt for the gallette or cheesecake, both are worthy options to end a satisfying meal. My only complaint is that Saute' on 6th is only open from Wed - Sat, so I have to plan my visits...

For dinner I decided on some smaller plates, I ordered the shrimp crostini which was very enjoyable and just the right amount. Additionally I ordered the tomato bisque, I really enjoyed the presentation since the server came out with a small carafe of the soup and poured it into the bowl at the table, which was fun and delicious! For dessert I tried the espresso crème brûlée which was good, the top had the right sugar crack and snap, which was yummy! Will definitely be back, the service and ambiance was really enjoyable as well.

This 'sports bar' fronts as an Italian restaurant and can use some work on their customer service…read more When seating guests, they don't ask whether you're there to watch sports, but after we were seated as a group for a family dinner, my auntie asked if they could turn down the obnoxious televisions and they said no, that guests were there to watch the game. We indicated that we were not, and would like to be moved. She left to check (?) only to return to advise that the televisions were all on the same remote. Others in the party dismissed it as an issue and decided to order. Management needs to take note and train hosts to ask which environment is preferred. There are too many neurodivergent people who can't handle the chaos, yet want to enjoy a nice meal. End rant. Meals were good all around, though my breaded steak bites were very salty and the au jus only added to my sodium intake. Great portions and flavor. Fresh herbs grown in a planter outside the front door. I'd gladly give 4 stars were it not for the noise and lack of consideration.

As a solo diner, I opted to sit at the bar. Service was just ok, they weren't really attentive, which was surprising since I was at the bar... But the food was not one to write about. First I was served the house bread with garlic butter - which was the best thing I had. For my entree, I ordered the Braised beef Pappardelle which comes with a house salad. I can only say I'm glad I filled up on the bread, as I was served an entree with burnt onions and mushrooms. I had to pick at the meal to make sure I didn't get any burnt items. I will say, I did not mention this to the staff, at this point I didn't think it was necessary as there was enough to feed 2 people. Anyway, I don't think I will return when I'm in the area...
