I had the burger and we also tried the Thai noodle salad, and both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. We loved it so much that we came back the next night. The owner greeted us again and personally got us seated, which made the experience feel even more special. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and we shared the sun-dried tomato Tuscan chicken pasta -- both were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The owner even surprised us with a complimentary steak bites appetizer that was incredibly tender and seasoned perfectly. Amazing food, outstanding service, and such a warm atmosphere both nights. If you're looking for a great place to eat, we highly recommend stopping in. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

The steaks are thick, tender, and have great flavor; hamburger is very tasty with minimal fat (just like family raised); roasts and bites are very tasty; and cube steak makes for a quick evening meal. The upstairs has the kitchen and dining area. But there's also the downstairs, basement dining and bar which practically lends to a speakeasy vibe. Each time I've visited I've opted for the bar, as I'm usually dining solo. The menu is small, but the food is done so well. I also look at the specials. One time they offered an Ivory King Salmon, I've never heard of it before and looked it up. Apparently it's very rare and makes up on 5% of King Salmon species. Super glad I ordered it, it's buttery, mild flavor reminded me of black cod. But their other menu items are nothing to ignore. I've had the roasted marinated lamb, and they also offer $15 dollar pasta Wednesdays. Recently I had the Linguine with meatballs, it tasted homemade - like the Nonna's were in the kitchen! IF I have space for dessert, I usually opt for the gallette or cheesecake, both are worthy options to end a satisfying meal. For dinner I decided on some smaller plates, I ordered the shrimp crostini which was very enjoyable and just the right amount. Additionally I ordered the tomato bisque, I really enjoyed the presentation since the server came out with a small carafe of the soup and poured it into the bowl at the table, which was fun and delicious! For dessert I tried the espresso crème brûlée which was good, the top had the right sugar crack and snap, which was yummy! Will definitely be back, the service and ambiance was really enjoyable as well.

I don't ask for a lot, but when my beer's been empty for some time, that's not enjoyable. I've found the best service can often be found in the bar area instead of the main dining room. The food is often good. I've not had a bad steak there, but it might take you a little while to get it. And if you come and the parking lot's full, if you don't have reservations, you're probably going to have a bit of a wait.

It would have been good but it was covered on the outside in mustard because they completely destroyed the bread, so it was in pieces when it came to me. Any real chef or even line cool could see it looked horrible. The service was adequate but not friendly just done and timely. I think this might be the straw that broke the camels back. It used to be so much better.

I've ordered them at different times, and they are always fresh and very hot. I'm not gonna lie -- I've had to take my sweatshirt off when eating one of the burgers with jalapenos. She doesn't have to worry, we didn't eat there that much because they are expensive for Lewiston and the wait on food has always been long.
