This 'sports bar' fronts as an Italian restaurant and can use some work on their customer service. When seating guests, they don't ask whether you're there to watch sports, but after we were seated as a group for a family dinner, my auntie asked if they could turn down the obnoxious televisions and they said no, that guests were there to watch the game. We indicated that we were not, and would like to be moved. She left to check (?) only to return to advise that the televisions were all on the same remote. Others in the party dismissed it as an issue and decided to order. Management needs to take note and train hosts to ask which environment is preferred. There are too many neurodivergent people who can't handle the chaos, yet want to enjoy a nice meal. End rant. Meals were good all around, though my breaded steak bites were very salty and the au jus only added to my sodium intake. Great portions and flavor. This is a one and done visit. I was in the area for work. And Tomato Bros was one of the spots that was actually open on a Monday, I decided to check it out. As a solo diner, I opted to sit at the bar. Service was just ok, they weren't really attentive, which was surprising since I was at the bar... But the food was not one to write about. First I was served the house bread with garlic butter - which was the best thing I had. For my entree, I ordered the Braised beef Pappardelle which comes with a house salad. I can only say I'm glad I filled up on the bread, as I was served an entree with burnt onions and mushrooms. I had to pick at the meal to make sure I didn't get any burnt items. I will say, I did not mention this to the staff, at this point I didn't think it was necessary as there was enough to feed 2 people. We had a very large family group at Tomato Bros for dinner. There were six kids 10 and under. They weren't set up to take kids. Of course the meals took awhile to prepare but came out family by family and the kids were served last. When orders were taken I stated who should be on our ticket. The server said they take care of that at the end. What a mess. When our bill came we had three extra kids on it. By this time the kids were restless and ready to go so we just paid the bill. Not a good place for large groups. I've been there with four and everything has been wonderful with great attention from servers and no chaos. I realize that the kids were chaotic but maybe crayons would have helped. read more

I couldn't decide between regular and raspberry vinaigrette so they gave me both. The butter was absolutely delicious as well. This place never disappoints! I come here on average of ten times per month. Today my friend Jeff isn't here. It's too early. So I order some lunch. Stromboli. A meatball. An Italian raspberry soda. I sit here and think how wonderful life is and also how short ... and I'm thinking I need to get in a better position to leave something of greater value than just my money....i love to paint and recently I've been drawn to scripture.... My family has come here for as long as I can remember. The food is usually very good, however in recent years, the price has gone up and up and the portions have gone down. Very disappointing. The booths are also extremely tight, when I mentioned something in a past review, the owner told me to just have the "healthier eaters" (weird way to say "skinny") sit on one side and push the table closer to them, which isn't helpful at all (especially if there's not any "healthy eaters" in the group). read more

First time patrons and we were craving an Italian dinner, so we gave this place a shot, even though there were mixed reviews on Yelp. Glad we decided to try it out because we left happy and full. Three parties were waiting to sit in the bar area, but we were seated promptly in the dining room section. We were directed to a comfortable booth and our server Victoria was friendly and attentive throughout our evening. Our delightful meal started with warm, fresh bread & savory garlic butter, served with simple dinner salads & great dressing. My ice tea was huge and the whiskey cocktail was enjoyable. Our pastas were 'Delizioso!' (Delicious in Italian) so very good! The steak and shrimp were perfectly cooked, pasta al dente, with just the right amount of veggies, and spices. We would both order the exact same thing again. The restaurant itself was spacious and nicely decorated. We stopped in for a family dinner one Sunday awhile back and had a yummy dinner. We had a large group but the the serving staff managed things well and took our order timely. My favorite thing on the menu is the baked shrimp, spinach and sun dried tomato appetizer, it's so delicious! Everyone at dinner really enjoyed their meals, the chicken piccata was fantastic as well. I went to Tomato Bros tonight and it was NOT GOOD! As I was waiting for my food I watched the pizza prep guy with no gloves continually eating food with his bare hands and never washed this hands, I even saw him wipe his eye with no gloves then continue to make peoples food. My wife had the chicken with fresh veggies. Look at the picture. All are nasty looking with one fresh green bean on the side. This was the whole portion. Look how small it was. Went here while visiting the area the other night. Service was great. Went there on a Friday night and was seated right away, it is good for kids with the whole table being covered in paper for coloring. Restaurant had good decor and lighting. From your entry of the front door through your dining experience and back through the front door as you depart you feel appreciated, important, valued etc. The place is warmly and whimsically decorated with nick knacks, artifacts and whimsy... The staff has never failed to greet us with a smile, be informative, helpful and honestly seeming to enjoy their work. The food.... holy crap!!! #GYSOT!!! I've eaten something different each time and as a person with a diverse pallet, I felt confident enough in the quality and deliciousness of the menu choices that I asked our server to pick my meal as if it were something she would enjoy enjoy. Result? #Fantastic!!! Our server Abigail selected for me, the cajun chicken and rice topped with grilled asparagus and a cup of the Italian Soup... nothing short of fantastic... just the right amount of seasoning and a bit of heat that was perfect for me. The soup was likewise delicious!!! My beautiful Bride had the Angel Hair Pesto which was also amazing if you're a Pesto Fan... we are and it is!!
