We had a large family group (11 adults) for a special dinner on an early Thursday evening. They had another large group there but it did not delay our meal notably. Who knew that a restaurant at the HolidayInn had such a great place to have dinner. We had a double order of their appetizer's menu and it came quickly and was just excellent. Especially the coconut shrimp and quesadillas! Everything was cooked and presented well. Our meals were great. Hamburgers, Caesar Salads, Steak Alfredo and a few other dishes. Service was wonderful. They even allowed us to bring in our own birthday cake for dessert and cut and plated and served it. Highly recommend for breakfast or dinner. read more

Excellent service by Amanda and their staff. This restaurant located within the Holiday Inn has an array of delicious menu choices to choose from. I had the calamari appetizer which was excellent and enjoyed the ribeye steak cooked perfectly with sautéed vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes while ending my dining experience with a delicious house made donut pudding and it was a treat. Well, we came here for dinner. Very lovely view of the lake and mountains. Great server who was very attentive. There is outdoor patio seating as well as inside. There was no way to block the bright sun coming through the window making it hard to see. One of our water glasses came with lipstick on it - gross. The food was sub-par. The chicken was rubbery and the sauce was goopy and lacked substance. The best part was the house salad dressing. read more

After a 7 hour drive, I decided to order room service. They were very quick, friendly and professional. Food was delicious. I had the steak fingers fondue for an appetizer and then the quay dip with a salad. The portions were huge. The fondue was oozing with cheese, onions and prime rib chunks. Tender and cooked with a crisp outer edge. The prime rib Quay Dip had very tender meat with grilled onions and cheese. Bread was fresh and the au jus was Dipping deliciousness! The server who delivered my food was very friendly. Was a nice reprieve after a long drive and just wanting to relax in my room. While staying at the Holiday Inn, our group of six ate dinner at the Quay Restaurant and everyone in our group raved about the food. Everything was 5-Star! Our salads, entrees, and desserts were all exceptional! And, on top of that, the service was great as well. I would definitely go there again, and highly recommend the Quay. read more

Stopped in for late dinner prior to son graduating WSU tomorrow (go Cougs). Ordered the Pork Schnitzel, Chicken Oscar, Top Sirloin and Washington Chicken salad. Also had an order of Sticky Boneless Bites. Food was great and service good as well. Stopped by for breakfast next day and had the Classic Breakfast from the Quay Stay Menu. Went to the Thanksgiving Buffet with my family and was very disappointed. They seem to have down sized the salad bar from previous visits, the turkey was questionably undercooked and the prime rib, was beyond the acceptable rare into almost raw. We've come here before and have had good experiences, but I don't know if it's under new management or what, but the standards have dropped considerably. Will not be returning, and unfortunately this Thanksgiving will go down in our memories as the dinner fail. read more

The only reason I am rating this place a 2 is because our server was nice. That is literally the only reason. Let me start off by stating that I am a pescatarian, for those that do not know what that is it means I do not eat any Meat other than Fish. So I ordered the Chicago Pasta which word for word is described in the menu as follows "Spinach, Tomatoes, Garlic, and Angel hair sauteed in brown butter and topped with sliced bite size and Myzithra Cheese." I should have paid more attention to the wording and I would of realized it was a little off, it sounded good and it being priced at 19$ was a little odd to me but I just figured Myzithra Cheese must be expensive. To my suprise when my order arrived it was covered in Steak. Having worked in the restaurant industry before I wasn't going to make a big deal about it and just removed the steak to the side. (My choice to be a Pescatarian isn't so much of not wanting to eat Meat but not wanting to contribute to the mega factory farms that do not give farm animals any sort of quality of life.) The dish aside from being littered with Steak was absolutely bland, it was barely sprinkled with Myzithra, I tasted no Garlic, there were mushrooms in it despite not being in the description, little to no tomatoes, and the bread it was served with was cut very thin with a dinkly display of cheese crusted on top. It was probably the most tasteless Pasta I have ever had in my life. Top Ramen has more flavor! It is sad to say the best part of my meal was the Salad and the fact that I was not the one paying. I would be afraid to order anything else off this menu in fear of other random ingredients not mentioned on the menu being piled onto it. I am posting a picture of the menu item on trial and also lending my opinion to the restaurant to take the time to re-work their menu that apparently did not have a good proofreading before being printed. read more

Seriously they have very good wings. Always crisp, hot, and tasty. I always sit in the bar for my wings and salad. The barkeep always provides great service and there's a few folks hanging out drinking. But I now stay way away from the Ceasar salad. The last one I got was probably the worst prepared salad I've ever experienced anywhere. Just a mass blob of way to much dressing and very small cut pieces of lettuce. This time I ordered a dry salad with dressing on the side. Voila! Still too small pieces of lettuce but the dressing was controlled. With the hot wings it works out perfect. Breakfast has gone downhill again.It's still free and still cooked hot and fresh. But they've changed the menu and don't have my ol' favorite. Still, bacon and eggs isn't a bad thing. read more

I wouldn't eat here again until they find a new beef source...I eat out almost every single day, as I live on the road, I probbably send back less than 1% of the meals I order, I was very close to sending back the replacement for the "filet mignon" I ordered for $32. But I'm just not into the hassle of having that conversation both meat items Cooked medium rare required at least 5 saws back and forth with maximum one finger pressure, the replacement prime rib was just as bad as the original steak. Thinking it was a one time thing, and being lazy I tried again the next night -- it was in my hotel. I got shiskabobs - every piece of beef on them required more than 10 chews, and about half of them I ended up spitting gristle back out. One more time I tried the schnitzel (did I mention I didn't have transportation?) Dry, not horrific, but not the quality one would expect for the price paid. Am I an idiot for eating here three nights in a row? Probbably, but it does give me a very very objective point of view, this is, without a doubt a one star food with 3 star wait staff. The wait staff is the only bright spot. The breakfasts (free with my hotel stay) were acceptable, and the sides were tasty enough to make me think the chef isn't an idiot, whoever buys the meat though, should be lynched -- my guess another restaurant ruined by stupid management. If you're thinking of eating here, save yourself the money and go to Dennys or tgi fridays. I'm honestly suspicious of the other positive reviews. Night 4 of my stay, I'm walking to McDonald's in the rain. read more

Food was not okay my eggs where burnt on the outside and under cooked on the inside I order scrambled eggs

We ordered room service so we could stay in our room and not have to put the dogs back in the truck. The meal was prepared and delivered very swiftly. The food was really good and the portions were huge. We will definitely eat there again even when we are not staying in the motel. The motel does offer a complementary breakfast which we've had two times now and that too was very good. Restaurant has a nice view and the service has always been great. read more

In town on business. This place used to be called Bogie's. Newly and beautifully remodeled! New and talented chef too. Had prime rib dip with home made bean and sausage soup for lunch. Soup rivaled my Moms bean and ham! Prime rib was shaved so had a very soft bite. Not the typical slab of prime rib complete with fat kernel and grissle. Served on a tomato basil roll with a rich dipping au jus. Not the typical salty liquid. Dinner was a glass of very nice Malbec, tomato basil roll served with balsamic olive oil and herb dipping sauce. Baked halibut and bay shrimp in a light Parmesan cream sauce topped with toasted bread crumbs served with a nice risotto and fresh grilled asparagus. I'm very impressed. Not an average or below average restaurant only catering to hotel guests for their convenience. This is a destination restaurant and very reasonably priced. read more

Had prime rib with risotto and asparagus. Prime rib was squishy, like it had been cooked two days before. The risotto was a sticky cold blob on the plate and had no flavor at all. The chef needs to go eat some real risotto to find out what it's supposed to taste like. The Tuscan bread, with dipping oil, was delicious. Our waiter was gracious. Those were the two good things. Don't ever go here for breakfast. We used to eat here all the time for breakfast and loved it. Now, within the past few months, their food portions are ridiculously small and the prices remain exuberantly high. $8 and some change will get you 2 slices of French toast, cut in half and marked as 4 slices, no eggs, no meat, nothing. Just literally 2 slices of bread. $5 will get you about a handful of hash browns. Each of these items cost maybe 25 cents to make. Also, if you love spending full meal prices for a small snack, make sure to bring a jacket. The room is also very cold. Probably to preserve all the near-death elderly that eat there. read more

The service was excellent, a Waitress we knew from another restaurant, restaurant was attractive, our food was good. We came to try the new Friday Buffet, and it was our thought to sit on the patio. However, the Buffet is near the entryway, in a hallway. To make a trip to the buffet from outdoors, I would have had to come inside, not an automatic door, few steps through that level, up a few steps, few steps through that level, pass the reception/cash register and make a right into the hallway. Note, it was unattended, who knows what goes on with humans passing to and fro. I do not walk distances well, so it was impossible for me to navigate. It certainly was not ADA compliant.
