Fast, friendly, helpful service. Each booth has a theme, which is cute. We ate in Lil Italy, all decorated with grape vines and wine artwork. Located right on the Main Street through town, it's very convenient. Lots of parking. We ordered the Pile, and a garden skillet. The pile is classic diner comfort food, and was delicious. Server made our ordering rushed and she didn't listen to what I ordered. Apparently if your finger is near a menu item that is what you get, not what you actually order. I ordered one egg soft poached and one piece of toast after being over charged and questioning the amount I paid the waitress told me my finger was close to one egg hash brown breakfast menu item which is right next to the ala carte menu, so yes I paid for food I didn't order She was not willing to correct her mistake and charged me according to where my finger was on the menu not what I ordered. The waitress had attitude and was sure to raise her voice. We did have to send our food back our eggs were hard she took my egg and left my toast so it was ice cold when she returned with the egg. I didn't leave a tip because of her attitude The restaurant is dirty and cobwebs on everything. Tried to send them back and she offered to charge me more for French toast. I insisted on the hash browns being taken back and she refused Telling me they would be raw. We came to Hazels around 11:00 am on a Friday. The parking lot was full and so was Hazels. We were seated immediately and brought coffee and water right away. I love watching the waitresses here. This is a fairly standard breakfast/lunch spot. I did the two eggs, bacon and GF pancakes. On the whole, it was just okay. The interior is cute in that each booth is it's own little theme and our server was very friendly and efficient. The locals clearly live it. We had just finished some shopping errands near by (you know who we mean) and saw Hazel's which reminded us it was time to eat. They close at 2:00 and it was just about 15 minutes 'till but they said sure come on in. We ordered a Club Sandwich, to split, as there were dinner plans for later. The sandwich was terrific. Fresh and lightly toasted bread, turkey that didn't come thinly sliced in a package but obviously roasted and chopped there, and perfectly done Shoestring French Fries (my favorite style). Plus, they split the sandwich and fries onto two plates for us without us even asking. The service was attentive but not overbearling from all of the pleasant staff who were also doing their end of shift preparation for the next morning. One Yelper wrote Lunch was good, but breakfast was better. If so, then we really need to come back for breakfast! read more

I really love just to come and sit in there theme booths. It's like" what booth do I fit today". And they are usually right in where they sit us. There manager has to be the best I've ever encountered in this business. I thought she was the owner but she only manages it. She has so much heart that she makes you think she is the owner. Steak & eggs... awesome crispy red potatoes, steak was a tad chewy, but portions & the service knocked it out of the park.
