The smoked salmon was tasty and plentiful on my salad, but it lacked dressing and enough lettuce to get a good balance. My son's Cuban didn't come on Cuban bread or a pressed bread, but a standard thick baguette, which we both found odd. He said it was too much bread and dwarfed the pork, ham and cheese; quite disappointing. However, the French fries were bountiful and good. Others in the party dismissed it as an issue and decided to order. Management needs to take note and train hosts to ask which environment is preferred. There are too many neurodivergent people who can't handle the chaos, yet want to enjoy a nice meal. End rant. Meals were good all around, though my breaded steak bites were very salty and the au jus only added to my sodium intake. Great portions and flavor. My friend still had to pay for her drink after we had been there over an hour and never got the correct food. The server never even came back. They sent a busser over to handle the checks. We were greeted, directed to seat ourselves, and decided to pick a high top table in the bar area looking out into the patio. The restaurant was clean and inviting with only a couple of other parties present upon arrival at noon on a weekday, but it was soon quite busy. Our bar keep/server Bert was professional, friendly, and good company! We had entertaining conversations with him while he provided great service. Our freshly brewed ice teas were in huge oversized beer mugs, which we loved! The spinach artichoke dip with toasted crostini appetizer was out-of-this-world!! The smoked brisket sandwich and chicken Caesar wrap was mouth-watering delicious and the side of regular and sweet potato fries were perfectly crisp!!! Needless to say, we had a five star experience all the way around.
