Especially the shotzy - it's got it all - if by all I mean sausage, sauerkraut, cheese, and an amazing mustard sauce. You will crave it when you are anywhere other than Clarkston. The inside of the place is always packed - with long beer hall like tables and a place for kids (and adults) to watch the pizza being made. We ordered a half-and-half pizza with a mix of combinations: half pepperoni & jalapeño / half Clarkston, half Hawaiian / half taco, and half The Q / half pepperoni & black olive. A favorite of locals, this pizza place is one of a kind. Think of a New York style pizza with way too many toppings and that is what you get. It's easy to order half and half pizzas, which gives you plenty of options to try different types of pizza. Definitely recommended if you like variety and/or you don't know what you might like. Took off a star because we had a terrible experience ordering. 30 min after ordering we went up to see where our pizza was and learned they forgot to put it in. Cue another 20 minutes of waiting. This was our first time here. We previously owned a pizza franchise for 10 years (high end pizza) so we consider ourselves pizza snobs. The inside of the restaurant was clean and tidy although outdated but that was okay. The cashier was super friendly and VERY accommodating. We ordered their deluxe salad, which she split in two with two different dressings, and a 10" pizza. She offered us 1/2 and 1/2 which made us both happy. The salad was simple but delicious. The lettuce was fresh and it included croutons, two kinds of cheese and tomatoes. The pizza was cooked to perfection and had lots of toppings. All of the toppings were great quality. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the pizza seemed to be missing something. My husband thought maybe not enough sauce but I'm not sure that was it. Maybe more mozzarella? I wish I could figure what it was. We have leftover slices so if I decide what it is, I'll add to my review. If you're hungry for pizza, I would definitely check this place out!!! People in the area praised this pizza parlor as one of the best in the community. I never ate any other pizzas in the community except the ones from Costco, so I won't be able to attest to that. However, the pizza was overall decent. I ordered the Charleston pizza (kinda ironic considering that I was eating at Louiston lol), which had the toppings of green pepper, pepperoni, and sausages. It was pretty standard, but wasn't too spectacular. My friend ordered the shotsy and I think that was a lot better. The shotsy had mustard sauce, which made the pizza more flavorful. Overall, I liked the crust on both pizzas. I'm a thick crust person and I like my crust to be a bit fluffy, which is what I got at this pizza parlor. As someone who had many experiences with pizza in the West coast, I would not say this place has the best pizza I've ever had.
