We got right in and asked to be seated on the patio as the sun would be going down over the next hour. The patio is right up on the Snake River offering a great view for our dinner! Walking through the interior was also quite the visual feast...a handful of large rooms and a large bar with a bunch of motley decorations everywhere. The nicest looking room was a rotunda in the back but nobody was sitting in there...not sure if it's for private events only. The menu had a lot of choices...which in my years of dining usually means they offer quantity over quality. And that came to fruition as we received and ate our meals. I ordered the Hazel's Famous Fried Shrimp and my son got the Cod N Chips. These were the smallest shrimp I've ever seen in the restaurant...the broccoli dwarfed it! The breading was also awful as it was soggy and falling off the shrimp. If these are famous, I'd hate to see the shrimp that didn't get the part. My son said his cod was 'alright' but said the tartar sauce was the worst tartar sauce he's ever had. It looked like curdled 2% milk. The table we sat at on the patio was tiny and barely held the two dinner plates. The chairs were also cheap metal and my back and bottom were sore after an hour. At least our server was friendly...and when she asked 'how was your meal' when picking up our dishes, we said it wasn't great and she replied 'yeah...' and walked back inside. That was actually a pretty funny way to end the meal.

Who knew that a restaurant at the HolidayInn had such a great place to have dinner. We had a double order of their appetizer's menu and it came quickly and was just excellent. They even allowed us to bring in our own birthday cake for dessert and cut and plated and served it. Highly recommend for breakfast or dinner.

The upstairs has the kitchen and dining area. But there's also the downstairs, basement dining and bar which practically lends to a speakeasy vibe. Each time I've visited I've opted for the bar, as I'm usually dining solo. The menu is small, but the food is done so well. I also look at the specials. One time they offered an Ivory King Salmon, I've never heard of it before and looked it up. Apparently it's very rare and makes up on 5% of King Salmon species. Super glad I ordered it, it's buttery, mild flavor reminded me of black cod. But their other menu items are nothing to ignore. I've had the roasted marinated lamb, and they also offer $15 dollar pasta Wednesdays. Recently I had the Linguine with meatballs, it tasted homemade - like the Nonna's were in the kitchen! IF I have space for dessert, I usually opt for the gallette or cheesecake, both are worthy options to end a satisfying meal. My only complaint is that Saute' on 6th is only open from Wed - Sat, so I have to plan my visits...

For dinner I decided on some smaller plates, I ordered the shrimp crostini which was very enjoyable and just the right amount. For dessert I tried the espresso crème brûlée which was good, the top had the right sugar crack and snap, which was yummy! Will definitely be back, the service and ambiance was really enjoyable as well.

The restaurant had a quaint downtown feel with a welcome lack of pretension. And the food was 5-star level. We started with the chilled caprese which was light and delicious. The balsamic drizzle, one of my favorites, really added to the depth of flavor. My wife ordered the salmon which came with a phenomenal sauce. It was tangy and tasted of dill and really elevated an already flavor- packed meal. I had the Thai pasta dinner which was a fusion of Thai flavors with an Italian flair. It will be one of my new favorites with the Thai spices in the sauce covering spiral noodles. If you are looking for fancy food with a "friend next door" vibe. Brava's is for you.

We indicated that we were not, and would like to be moved. She left to check (?) only to return to advise that the televisions were all on the same remote. Others in the party dismissed it as an issue and decided to order. Management needs to take note and train hosts to ask which environment is preferred. There are too many neurodivergent people who can't handle the chaos, yet want to enjoy a nice meal. End rant. Meals were good all around, though my breaded steak bites were very salty and the au jus only added to my sodium intake. Great portions and flavor. Fresh herbs grown in a planter outside the front door. I'd gladly give 4 stars were it not for the noise and lack of consideration.

As a solo diner, I opted to sit at the bar. Service was just ok, they weren't really attentive, which was surprising since I was at the bar... But the food was not one to write about. First I was served the house bread with garlic butter - which was the best thing I had. For my entree, I ordered the Braised beef Pappardelle which comes with a house salad. I can only say I'm glad I filled up on the bread, as I was served an entree with burnt onions and mushrooms. I had to pick at the meal to make sure I didn't get any burnt items. I will say, I did not mention this to the staff, at this point I didn't think it was necessary as there was enough to feed 2 people. Anyway, I don't think I will return when I'm in the area...
